I highly discourage anyone, especially senior citizens, from moving into this mobile home park! This is not a senior mobile home park. At least 20% of the residents here are Families… Families with multiple children from babies to teenagers. There are also several people in their 20s living here with family. The long-term residents, including myself, are very unhappy but unfortunately Moving would be the last resort due to health issues. The owner, Shelly, has zero interest in the happiness or comfort of the older residents. If you’re lucky enough to get her to the park for a meeting to address any concerns you may have you will find yourself highly disappointed. She will come completely unprepared to answer any of your questions and is an expert at dodging them. The pool and Jacuzzi facilities used to be clean, quiet, and relaxing. The pool is now filled with children who do not obey the posted rules, parents who do not make them obey the rules, yelling and screaming, and garbage left behind including dirty diapers and underwear The pool & jacuzzi dirty often and the Jacuzzi rarely works. Currently the cleanliness of the park and upkeep of the landscaping is good but that’s because of the hard work of one of the residents here..,not the owner! Most of the residents here are wonderful people and deserve better from the owners than what they get! I attempted to get involved and turn this place around. Due to the closed minded Ineffectiveness of the owner, Shelly, I no longer care to work on anything here other than my own home/yard which we keep gorgeous! The rent has been raised several times for “maintenance” and security patrol provided by local security company. In my opinion, the maintenance costs should be absorbed by the owner not the residents. Regarding the security patrol...we haven’t had security provided by our local security company for months but still we are charged. Ask your self… Do you really want to live in a park where an owner takes advantage of senior citizens in that way? Senior citizens that are on a fixed income? Before looking for residency here please take these things into consideration and good luck.
