Friendly staff, decent prices, movies, showtimes. Plenty of free parking nearby, generally safe, its located on a small one way street. Some other eateries close by, not much variety. Theres a parking structure behind it, its free.I like this theater, currently its closed, but I like its unpopularity with the locals, the most, since I love seeing movies on my own. Its a great theater to go to. The two times i went to the movies after the theater re-opened, im not sure if my seating area had been cleaned, as there were candy wrappers in the cup holder. But its not a big deal. Nothing to complain aboutThere is a similar mentality that pleasant hill has, of independence, self sufficiency, doing things solo or by oneself, those too are frowned on, looked down on, not supported, but ignorance is ignorance. And that way of thought is old and old minded.If the theater re-opens i may go back

My family always go here for movies, next to buffet so after dinner we come here

Great movie theater. The seats are okay, the food is better than most of the other Century theaters in the area, but the location is what makes this place the best. The parking garage thats adjacent is never full and its free so thats great. Also there are a lot of nice bars and restaurants in the area that make this a great place to go on a date or hang out with friends. Highly recommend.

Comfortable seats. Good sound systems and the theater was well-kept. Staffs were friendly and polite. Clean bathrooms too and they have good parking spaces.

I like this cozy theatre. The prices are great and its in the heart of downtown with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops around. Parking is also easily available.

Go on weekday evenings and is a bit quieter. Love the garage as a parking option, since its free. Weekends suck, as the drinks and loud teens and kids are out. Security and movie theater staff are lax on people interrupting movies with phone lights and noise or babies in theaters crying.

Went here with my nephew and niece to watch the maleficent: mistress of evil. The seats were comfy and the sound systems were fine. Staffs were friendly and the place was clean.

Smaller theater but good location. Lots of parking and dining options nearby. Perfect for dinner and a movie.

Good spot. Needed more folks to help with the rush, but th typical experience for sure... Would love if they had a loading zone in front for those in need.

Went with my son to see BadBoys For Life,good movie,comfortable seating,clean theaters and lobby,courteous staff,typical $ on drinks etc. Recommend if in the area or live in the area to go and watch movies,parking close by next door or across the street.

I love that they have ice cream and Starbucks! Matinee with the kids is affordable and enjoyable. Plus B Street has great places to eat!

Love this theatre. Its never been crowded when we were there. Plus, the first show of the day is only $6.25

Really enjoyed the movie. The theater it self is out dated. You choose seats when you purchase your tickets however the seats are outdated theyre not the new comfortable movie chairs that most of theaters now have. There really is no reason to even Select-A-Seat especially for the cost

I love this theater and how conveniently it is located. You can step outside and immediately find many restaurants to eat in and things to do. The actual movie theater itself is cozy and well stocked with snack options. I have seen movies here for years and will continue to as a satisfied customer

Staff was all friendly. Did not like the seats makes you sit way back. We have health issues so we moved to handicapped area. Lady came in late w/a young man in a wheelchair. My Sister who has Hip issues& getting treatment moved, but their were single seats She could have gone to on either side. She also missed the part about turn off your phone. She played her games & was doing stuff the whole time. When the movie went dark it lit up the area. My Sister said Why didnt you go get someone or say something. Im sure she knew She shouldnt & go get someone so I have to miss the movie. What happen to the good old days when an usher came & checked to make sure ppl are doing what they are suppose to. I really want to know. If a service dog doesnt have to wear a vest?

Out of all the Theaters around us (Fremont) my husband and I always come to this theater. We like the area.

This is my go-to movie theater because not only is it in a convenient location downtown, but it makes it easy to grab a bite to eat and then head over to watch the latest movie!There arent reserved seats, but the only time its ever super full is when the movie you want to watch just came out (if its a box office hit, expect to get there early).All the workers are super helpful too!

Ive been there the past couple of times and me and my parents went out to see Hobbs and Shaw cause the other movie theaters didnt have a showing of it anymore but we got lucky the movie was amazing and funny as hell.

Very clean and convenient. Various eating options and nightlife nearby.

Can select your seats at time of purchase, was clean experience during my visit and popcorn smelled good.

This is a very low key and comfortable movie theater. I loved it.

The parking lot is very accesible and the theaters are usually always very clean.

Robert Jenkins...Its Hayward and more succinctly its the East bay 880 corridor. The socio economics/demographics are poor and theres not a sense of pride or ownership. I see it continuously in the shopping malls, potholed streets, strip malls, motels I stay at, etc etc. its sad but the people either simply dont care or they have a standard below sea level.

It was close to my house, the theater was little old but it was nice.

This area tends to be a bit quieter during the week day work times. I havent been on a weekend but this theater seemed clean and presentable. The screening rooms are relatively small but no need for a big space since youll be surrounded by open chairs all around. It makes for an intimate and relaxing movie experience for sure.Be sure to grab some grub in the surrounding area and stop in for a movie after eating. The concession stand is still the most expensive part about a movie after all.

Great movie theater, except for the fact that the seats are a little stiff/uncomfortable, but Im probably biased because Im used to the reclining seats at Pacific commons. Good service and clean-ish bathrooms.

Decent movie theater to watch movies. Cant reserve seats. Limited food options. Needs some renovations as the seats and amenities are a bit dated. Good place to simply watch a movie without expecting much else.

Its all right. They shkuld add the machines so you can self check in and buy your tickets like they have at the theater at the mall. Jason Austell update the seats so that people can be more comfortable so that you can have a more enjoyable experience that would be nice.

For general movies this place is fine. DONT go here for Fathom Events they seem to have nothing but problems every time.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness or lack thereof of the lobby. The staff including a guy with a broom and dust pan continued to walk over and through spilled popcorn and an empty water bottle on the floor. When this first opened it was very clean. Now it appears they just don’t care. This will be my last visit.

I have a place just up the street from this theater and have the pleasure of saying that Ive been going here since the day it opened. First movie I saw there was Max Payne.The staff has always been good and very friendly. Bathrooms are always clean and have never had a problem here. Usual snacks and goodies at the concession stands, nothing out of the ordinary.Kids and I love it.

Concessions are ridiculously priced (not that this isnt new for every theater) but I love being here and the staff is always really helpful and courteous especially when I arrive in my motorized chair. All around great theater and a great addition to Haywards bustling downtown

Cozy theater with lots of close by eateries and entertainment near by such as the amazing Retro’s High Scores Arcade next near Charlotte’s ice cream (which as awesome too) ignore the previous arrogant reviews. Pot holes? Have you ever even driven in this town? Most of the roads are nicely paved. Also, what happened to the thousand plus reviews of this theater? My only grip is that they can install new luxury seats like Southland Cinemark.

The place needs a renovation. The seats are really overdue and gross. Rooms are small and screens are ok sized. People regularly sneak in chip bags which are super loud. Usually go to another newer theatre first but as a last resort, this one is ok. Would definitely Benefits from new seats/rugs.

Dab right in the middle of downtown Hayward. This location is ideal for any movie goer that within the vicinity. I wont go into much about the theater itself as its your typical theater that you find anywhere else. Its smaller than your average movie theater but that doesnt mean that they arent show casing the latest movie. There is plenty of parking right behind the theater and across over to the bank end. What stands out about this theater is its proximity to all the dining option you can choose from. These days, it feels like every one is becoming more conscious about what they put into their bellies and they should be! You have so many options here from the buffet next door, the burger shop, the taco joint, the Japanese restaurant across the street, the Taiwanese bubble shop and yes a wingstop! Stuff up yourself with something good and hearty before you head over to your movie. If youre just bring just you and your partner or the family...this place has my two thumb approval.

Nice theatre with comfortable seats. And cool posters of actors all around. The price is good in comparison to Dublin Hacienda. I really enjoyed my movie, Bohemian Rhapsody!

This theater is locally good. I have visited here a few times and I find no problems here. If you use rewards, buy your tickets ahead of time so that you will not have to wait in line. Overall, theater and seating is very comfortable.

To be honest, I mostly come here whenever a big blockbuster premieres and I know other theaters are sold out. The seats and screens arent much to write home about but they have awesome discounts for already low prices in comparison to Union Landing or the new Southland theater.

No frills, Small venue, but has everything you need. I would probably drive 20 min more and go to the AMC theater in Newark. Now thats an experience worth my time and money.

The theaters are a little small, but they have good service and it’s rarely crowded. Along with the restaurants and street decor, the downtown is a really cozy place for a date night.

Love this place!!! Finally, reasonable ticket prices, lol. And the management is hella respectful- we went to see Coco and the first 5 min st started out hella blurry, so they immediately restarted the film correctly and gave us free snacks and movie tickets at any century theater. If I had to be picky, the bathrooms dont always look the greatest. But still! Totally recommend it!

Best local theater Ive been to. Pricing is good, the place is very pretty inside and out, and the movies themselves are often full of respectful viewers. Staff are normally lethargic, but its retail. Cut em some slack.

Great theater. Friendly staff. Concession prices recently dropped, so snack prices wont break your wallet. Usually not too crowded, so finding good seats is easy. Surrounded by restaurants so its really convenient location for dinner and a movie. After your movie, B Street is a nice evening stroll.

Small local theater. We go here if we just want to watch a movie at a theater with no frills. Seats are old and worn (made of cloth and not updated to leather like every where else).

Took over 70 fifth and sixth grade students on a field trip and the staff was AWESOME! Excellent customer service, clean theater and bathrooms, and plenty of free parking adjacent to the theater.

The theater is nice and very clean. After watching a movie you could have a nice dinner or coffee in one of busy outlets on B Street.

Went to one of those little event things. Movie didn’t start at the time posted and instead started 30 minutes later. Movie started and it’s not the movie we paid for. Waited to see if it would change and it didn’t. Was told they wouldn’t start the right movie over and we would just have rain checks. It was a one time release in theaters, meaning the movie wouldn’t be playing again in theaters probably for a very long time. The lady manager was nice enough but the guy manager was not. If other movies started on time, by the time the whole ordeal was over there was no way of making it to another theater. Don’t watch events here.

I love going to this theatre, its clean, the staff is knowledgeable about where they work and what the theater has to offer. The staff is friendly a joy to deal with making the whole experience an enjoyable time week after week.Its nice and cozy for movie nights.
