I really enjoyed this park. We visited 9/5/20 just before 2 pm. The young man at the gate was friendly and very welcoming. I told my wife how impressed I was with him. The facilities were clean and the trails were well marked. You have a jewel of a park!!

This is a beautiful wooded park, perfect for family get togethers with lots of room to social distance during the COVID pandemic. Weve enjoyed hiking the trails here as well, all year round. I love that this park is nearby to enjoy!

Beautiful park with a nice variety of scenery and activities. Pine stands, hardwood stands, some dips and hills, and marshlands tall with cattails await your exploration. Also has open fields, ample parking, a playground, and a well marked trail system. Another A+ from Ingham county parks.

Nice, well maintained trails with beautiful wetland views. Someone must have spent hours marking every trip hazard root with orange paint! Markings were regularly spaced and boardwalks were stable and strong, though there were quite screws sticking up that could have been an issue. Overall a very pleasant hike - we did the green loop.

We went to an open house at the park and the family had reserved one of the pavilions. There was a grill next to it with enough tables. The restrooms were close by and I was told that they were really nice and clean. We were also by a basketball court and walking path. Also parking was close.

Very serendipitous experience after visiting family living near the lake, went for a walk and then this park came into view! We walked in during April (nothing growing just yet, lots of loud frogs), and initially we thought it was a nice small park with parking, grills, and gazebos... Only to find a few available trails to walk! It was a nice experience, well-maintained, and some unique sights/animals. May occasionally spot a white-tailed deer! Very secluded/foresty/nature trail when compared to the open lakeside area of the South Park. If you want a nice quiet nature walk, come here! Highly recommended.

Very confusing signage. I dont recommend going without taking a photo of the map, first. I realize that we are in a pandemic, but we are using our Parks more and more... Would be nice to see this park get a facelift! Many broken display cases. Just needs some TLC!

We love the trails here. There are several to choose from, so you can enjoy a short or long walk. The bog walkway is beautifully maintained and is the perfect place to take little ones to experience a variety of insects, birds, plants, and sounds. The playground is rather large and has never been too crowded when we visit.

I had never been to this part of the park before today. It is very confusing even with my all trails map/app open. No signs showing here trailheads are & all of the 3 (yes 3 for the whole place) maps are in different orientations. Id go back if I had to but very frustrating place to navigate.

Started hittin these trails about 1990. Been goin back every year spring through fall. Used to smoke a little weed out there in my younger days. Now I just appreciate the place on its own merits, no drugs needed. Its easily my favorite place in the Greater Lansing area. Flat out beautiful, even the people. I mean, given the state of our society, especially the people. Do yourself a favor and go early or late to avoid the heat. Take the kiddies out for a BBQ sometime after youre done taking care of numero uno. And pick up your trash, ____er ____er.

This is a wonderful place to go and its largest loop is a little over three miles long. The most frustrating thing I find is that sometimes theres an employee at the gate and sometimes there isnt and I find the inconsistency to tedious. Its a $3 fee for parking (residential, non-resident unknown) and $32 for residential pass and $42 for non residents.

Lake Lansing North is a nice all-season park. It has over five miles of trails that wind through forests and around marshes. There are a few reservable covered picnic areas and a small playground, as well as a basketball court and softball diamond. The trails are well-maintained and easy to follow, with color-coded trail markers with loops of varying distances. Wooden walkways have been constructed through parts of the marshy areas. This isnt a trail to get way from it all - youll usually encounter hikers, joggers, and dog-walkers - but its not crowded. During the winter, the trails are open to cross country skiing. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, there is an entrance fee.
