The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. I really enjoyed the ambience of this spot. Fantastic restaurant to take my family out for dinner.

Revisiting here last weekend for an event, the buffet style food was good, but not as good when ordered in the restaurant directly, as we did on our initial visit where we had a pork cutlet and pork roast dinner with potato pancakes. Still, as shown in my newly added photos, there is a variety of food offered to guests with the buffet.A good size space for an event, free parking and separate spaces for those who want to take a brief break from their event. The owner is still very personable and karaoke nights have been upped to two from one each month. Definitely worth a visit.#Good Polish food, welcoming owner, fun karaoke and friendly patrons.

Great place to enjoy some drinks,good food,and share some laughs in the heel corner.Come visit Miguel behind the bar..he wont disappoint.He was a one man show the other night and had my angry orchard cider draft ready for me without asking....what??..how awesome is that?..and makes a mean ice cream dessert that is simply mahvelous.great staff..Sarah comes to mind as she always greets us and asks how the food was because she cares..food is always great.I always go back there for more good times.

Great food, especially polish specialties.Great beer selection. Wine and liquor available. Atmosphere beautiful and a wonderful step into the past and the Polish culture. Service by Kaitlyn was really fast and fun. She was a great server. Will go back very soon.

If youre looking for great Polish food, amazing happy hour specials, a night out with friends, or just a quiet date night, this place is a great find. Open to all. Lots of parking onsite, and free. Once a month for $30 theres a buffet of Polish food, a free drink and a comedy show. Fun time.

Love this place.. its a landmark location in Hartford. This place holds private events and public gatherings and events.. they have a ballroom and a restuarant and bar. I would recommend everyone to visit at least once. This place is a hidden gem

Excellent! I had the special of the day-pan seared salmon with roasted potatoes & vegetables in a light horseradish sauce. Delish! & reasonable too! One of the best I ever had.

My husband and I stopped by to watch Poland play in the World Cup. We enjoyed a selection of dishes, pierogi with a side of kielbasa,, Hussar Ale and zapiekanka. It was a full house on a Sunday afternoon and the manager offered to set up an extra table for us to enjoy the game and food. Such a fun Euro Pub!

Ordered the Polish plate ( they have a larger one). Great Polish food and even Polish beer on tap. Brand new kitchen also.

Wonderful St Josephs Day with Polish cousins. Excellent service and wonderful food except for the bigos. It wasnt as good as it could or should be. The place is clean and welcoming and friendly and we had a wonderful wonderful time. The food was reasonably priced and I go there at least four times a year.

Id like to add that I used to come here alot when I was younger. My father and my grandfather are polish too. Have my family we used to go here to eat. Lovely ppl here and the food never been a disappointment. I have good memories coming here, also my grandfathers name is in there so I think of him when I go there. I plan on bringing my fiancee there soon

The ambience and the staff at the restaurant are great. Would love to see more Polish food at least at biweekly intervals, if not daily. Nalesniki,Liver and Onions, Mizeria and other beautiful Polish dishes should be on the Menu now and then.

I attended a concert a few weeks back, we arrived early so we stay downstairs and had a bite to eat in the bar/dining room. The Polish plate along with a few of the potato pancakes were excellent. Not to mention, the Bar itself is so beautiful, clearly from an era when craftsmanship was truly an art ! Ill be back soon !

Lots of Polish beer and Vodka to choose from. If they have the horseradish vodka, its a must try! Food is also pretty good. Staff are all very friendly.

Company luncheon; a very busy day; staff was pleasant but seemed short-handed as there was a delay in receiving our meals and waiter was not as attentive as expected. I would consider visiting again on a not so busy time/day.

New to the PH as of January 2017. On Good Friday (April 2017) I went in for a tuna fish sandwich and fries, which, on the menu, was priced at $5 plus tax. I paid $11 for a tuna sandwich and handful of warm fries. I didnt question it because the bartender whom I ordered my meal from avoided me after I paid. I wrote it off as an old menu and maybe the menus have been updated to reflect correct pricing. Truly disappointed as a new member but willing to give it another try. Hope it was a one time fluke!

The food we had was excellent! Personally I had the Fri special of fish and chips, I was able to substitute dill potatoes for the fries. Also had saurkraut, carrot and apple salad, and the chicken noodle soup. I am picky about soup, so I was so happy when I tasted it! Its homemade and tasty, lots of chiy pieces and plenty of noodles, which looked homemade. Others had potAto pancakes, blueberry perogies, sauerkraut and mushroom perogies. Its really good! Will be going back. Told my friends and sons about it so we can go there on our next visit! Yummy!!!

Sweet, simple, extremely affordable. Will I go again? Of course. It’s the kind of place where you go after work and sit at the bar to catch up on the world, without breaking the bank.

Historic building makes for an interesting location. I have never had a bad meal here. Their sweet and savory pierogi are delicious. The kielbasa tastes so much better than store-bought.

Go here from time to time to meet with some friends, I always enjoy it, the food is good.

Pierogi Heaven: Sunday afternoons. I enjoyed some fresh pierogi last Sunday when dining at 1pm....served with sauteed onions and bacon. Sublime....like they came from my mothers kitchen. Also enjoyed a light Polish beer with the meal. They might have fresh pierogi for the folks coming out of 11 am Mass at the nearby church. Service and atmosphere in the Pub were wonderful. On Sunday 2/18 they will offer Prime Rib....and, continue on alternate Sundays.

Called the day before to check on hours and was told they were open until 6pm, drove 1 & 1/2 hrs to have a polish plate arrived at 4:30pm and they were closed...the last time I will ever go to the PNH.

The service is now way slower, not sure if its cause of new management, but we used to be in and out during lunch in less than 30 min, now its taken one hour to get service and even pay for our lunch.

Expensive for what it is, drinks and food included. There are limited vegetarian options, and I dont believe any vegan options. Food can be greasy and lacks vegetables. Drink selection is mediocre, but they do have some polish beers that arent served elsewhere.
