The whole town is great!! My husband and I went on a day date and had a blast! Light house was so neat but stairs is a work out. Cute shops good food great drinks.

Hannibal was such a great little stop! I love the history and haunted stories! If you love the idea of the Mississippi River and Huck Finn & Tom Sawyer adventures with Mark Twains amazing writing of his childhood turned into what it has you will thuroughly enjoy this quaint little town. For people who love the idea of spooky places, haunted stories, good food Mark Twains Brewery!!

Great statue amdcyou dont have to climb the 244 lighthouse stairs to see it.

You can’t get close to it but it is a nice rendering of the fabled local boys.

Very nice tribute to the late Mark Twain. It is a great memory and it will stand the test of time going forward. It is in an amazing location and there is nearby parking so this is very easy to access.

A nice historical marker, bit of a climb to the top to see the lighthouse

The Tom & Huck statue, in the city where it all started. A simple thing that is worth a stop to see. Climb the big set of stairs behind the boys, and youll be treated to views of the river from the remaining platform where the old Mark Twain Memorial Bridge set off for Illinois, and at the top youll find the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse.

The steps, leading to the lighthouse, are a great workout. The view is worth the climb.

Cool statue of a couple iconic characters in American literature. Right on your way if youre hiking up to the lighthouse or checking things out around Main St.

If you are a Mark Twain fan it will tweak your heart and bring back memories of your (hopefully misspent) youth.
