Beautiful area, well maintained. It was a challenge to find the different hiking trails. No maps at location. You download but I like paper maps. If your phone dies youd still have a map. There were beautiful savannas, easy to walk. Lots if bullfrogs, a bald eagle and pleated woodpecker made the day.

I really liked hiking here. It was free so thats good. It was very quiet and I like that part. It had a beautiful section of Cypress swamp with lots of aquatic plants. It also has a vast expanse of scrub pine swamp. There were a couple of park benches sprinkled in it too. Good place for a hike.

Beautiful nature walk through natural Florida. Surprise at the end of the short trail. Open field with picnic table, firepit, and bbq grill. Old aboned house to explore by the water. Was looking for walkers! Great place for dogs and children!

Its beautiful to walk on this trail, although the entrance does look sketchy and you do get some Friday the 13 vibes (it goes towards camp Huckleberry). But the walk is really nice, and its a good way to exercise with a feel of adventure.

A great walking trail. Nothing too exciting as on both side of the trail are private hunting properties.

Very nice area to just take a short stroll or get in a serious days hike. Beautiful scenery and some surprising sites of deer and two Eagles. Extremely peaceful the day we went. Very relaxing atmosphere and solitude. We stayed 4 hours and did what comes naturally.

It was fantastic. Saw Deer and Bambis. Quail and Eagle. Spent four hours of pure bliss and solitude. Peaceful, Delightful and Tranquility were top of the list. Never noticed another human. We had a great picnic lunch with all the trimmings. Brought a backpack fill with blankets and candles. In case the sun set.

Great hiking on a small part of Lake Wales Ridge. Bit less sandy and not many hills. Also allow hunting so wear orange during hunting seasons!

Crowded at certain times, not able to keep up with certain items at the busiest of times...Many items from salad making veggies to meats like steak and chicken, to desserts like ice cream, pie, cake. I would love to see more healthy options.

Really not much to be seen, trails are boring, sandy and you cant really have a good hike. I was at the western part of the park (Snell creek, which I never saw)
