My experiences with Island View slot machines are hit n miss on winning anything. The lodging is very comfortable in the Beach Towers, I find those rooms are nicer because have large walk in showers and larger flat screen TVs with beautiful large windows. The North Tower has bathtubs and small TVs, I find the beds are equally comfortable. My inside casino dining experiences was disappointing as once was very good, the smoke side casino restrooms lacked care, out of soap and messy.

Clean and always feel safe here, even if I am visiting alone. The food at any restaurant here is never disappointing, and the odds here, for me have been the best compared to others I have went to.

I love this place. One side you can gamble in the smoking section and then a whole nother side of the building you have to go across a bridge that goes over the outside street but its enclosed get the other side of gambling where is not smoking and it is lit up so pretty with neon lights and you can see the ocean look at the ocean while you gamble they have excellent food Excellent employees I really like this place .I wish they offered more free rooms

I love this Casino and Hotel! The staff are super friendly! They have put forth great efforts to help protect everyone that comes inside. The restaurant staff are great! The lady that took our to-go order was the sweetest! The food was great and they even gave us extra condiments without being asked! The slots are up to date with the newest slots! I couldnt decide what to play 1st. We didnt stay at the hotel this time but in the past they were great! Really nice rooms and bathrooms that have been remodeled and they even have a new wing that was built a couple of years ago that would blow your mind! They always give really good free play and comps verses other casinos! They have so many amenities and things to do as well! Highly recommend you try it at least once!

Personally I do not gamble. My wife however loves their slots. The atmosphere on the beach side is really nice as neither of us smoke. Why do I like it over the rest of the casinos we have been to? Its cleaner, they make the best drinks, the people are friendly, and my wife is happy. We did not stay overnight this time, but every time we have gone overnight it was clean and pleasant.

We had a great stay here! The staff is by far the best! When we checked in we noticed right off the floor was wet. I made call down to maintenance and within in minutes Andrew was there! He was exceptional! He immediately called downstairs to get us another room! We did not have to go back downstairs to handle anything! Elizabeth from the front desk came up with our new keys and got us moved over! We never once passed a staff member that they didn’t speak! The staff alone will make this our new favorite place to stay!!!

1st time staying here and playing. Our brother had the rooms and my sister and I met him and his wife to have some fun and try our luck. We didnt win but loved the room and everyone there was very friendly. Cant wait to see the great comps they send out cause our brother always gets top notch free play plus meal allowance.

Great casino with so many options, places to eat and ever changing new machines. Friendly staff and attentive management. One of my favorite casinos on the Gulf Coast with two casinos for everybodys enjoyment.

My family and I stay on the beach view side, this was also the nonsmokers side. We absolutely loved it. The view was beautiful and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Roo. Was super clean!

Island View Casino has always had the best food good machines pays off good and always has a host to offer you something to drink without waiting 2 hours the lady Tara Brewer that works at the front desk is always compassionate and helpful for anything thats needed

Room not so great. They didnt have a safe in the room and it had an odor & the toilet was stopped up twice even just doing #1, and the sink was clogged & bubbling. Seemed to have plumbing problems. Maintenace was fast each time, but never solved the problem. We enjoyed the casino though.

Best play on the coast! We’ve played the coast for over 20 years and wish we had found Island/Beachview years ago. Best play, comps, food, and host (Niesha). The rooms are nice at both hotels, our favorite is the west side rooms to watch the beach sunsets. To the staff at both views, thanks and keep doing what you’re doing!P.S. For a special treat try Carter Green Steakhouse. Second to none. Ask for Sam!

Wanted to get a room here but can not. Rooms are available by invitation only. You would have to get a Hotel Invite. I have a players card and been to the Island View several times I guess the card does not matter. I ended up getting a motel room at one of the other casions(Harrahs Caesar very nice) instead.

Very clean and run well. Depending on where you eat food can be average or better. I like the non smoking beach side. Rooms are nice but beds are like a rock. Hurts every pressure point in my body.

Ive been a view crew member since Katrina, VIP at one point and one thing is certain, if you want great ( Tier Bonuses) its the place. Always exciting things going on for all ages and the dining is tough to beat at any of there venuesThe real bonus is they have a non smoking casino and motel as well as smoking.Their located just a couple blocks from the just opened Aquarium!

We come here every couple of months. We had to stay in the north tower because of hurricane damage It was a very long walk to our room!, We had to gamble in the smoking casino as it was too far for me to walk to non smoking(impossible to rent a scooter!!). the slots were never cleaned despite covid. overflowing ash trays, ashes all over, drink glasses never picked up Diagrace. Will not co n.v e back

Both sides arevvery nice.Large and Very clean.Enjoyed the none smoking side and the water, Ocean veiws are gorgeous.The employees ate so professional and friendly.The hotel was very different.We did not get the room we had requested and the front desk employee was a little less to be desired.Not very professional and not very accommodating.The restaurants are very nice and the casino offers a wide variety to choose.Would have gave 5 stars but the hotel limits 3

What can I say about this place? The food here is better than IP Casinos and Golden Nuggets. The comps are the best Ive seen for new players. The staff is amazing the treat you like family. Cant wait to try out the rooms when the casinos open up after Hurricane Sally (2020)

I love this Casino . It was constantly being cleaned counters, bathrooms, and machines. Everyone was friendly and had a great variety of games to play. I will definitely be back when in this area again.

The beds where nice and comfy. Very clean room. Maintainance was very prompt and luggage came not too long after I called for it. Really enjoyed the band and the view. And the local stores and beach were very easy to access. Good food as well.

They had a good promotion we ate good and played for free. The steak burger and onion rings from The Diner was so good. The buffet was good and the men in the Southern kitchen were so much fun.

I would have loved to be able to get in the pool but I understand it being closed due to covid19. I will definitely be back and recommend this hotel and casino

Very great hotel! Peaceful and relaxing! A great childless adult atmosphere!!! The customer service at the front counter was awesome love those ladies! The buffet was trash! The workers serving the food were very very nice but the food was not good. The cashier and the hostesses had attitudes. Other than that they are very clean and makes sure their staff and guests stay covid free!!

Had a very good time super nice casino. Kinda hard to find a server to get a drink. Strange rules on the black Jack table hard to win at any game at their casino. Pay attention each table seems to have it on rules I didnt find any straight black Jack.

Got a nice blueberry muffin and a Dr. Pepper this visit. Didnt win anything at slots, but thats typical. Overall nice experience. Security demanded a new and unexpected mask removal at the entry. They must stay busy thinking up a new hoop for each day. In these times of Covid mask requirements and health questions are to be expected. Security does too much, though. Every visit the officer on the door has some new request. I wouldnt be surprised to be asked to perform the Hokey Pokey at this point.

Local casino. Completely separate smoke-free casino directly on the shoreline across the highway connected by overhead walkway. Excellent variety of machines. Friendly staff. Magnificent views of the Gulf in the smoke-free section.

So the new addition to island view is great. Love being able to see the water while playing. Sportsbook is t the easiest to use. They don’t open the desk or kiosk until 10am. The main part of the casino in the north side is not really the best, little older and kind of a let down from going to the new part but still a good over all casino.

Subject to change:Just arrived at the hotel. They didnt have a smoking room like it said I was booked for. My guests refered are unhappy with me about it but what can I do? We are disabled and its hard to have to move around with a service animal to go outside to smoke when we were booked smoking. They are nice here and we are thoughtful for the room to begin with. Im excited to get playing and enjoy my time here. I wish they would have at least offered a smoking room tomorrow since there isnt one tonight. Its causing me greif with the guests I brought. Not fair to us like I said. But I will still give a 5 better yet a 4 for the fact they at least gave us a room for 3 days and that was super kind of them. Its clean and feels great in the room.

The Casino, the bathrooms and public areas are kept clean. Unfortunately the foul mouths of the patrons that visit are not. I was playing in three different areas of casino and in each area, you heard the F word flying out of peoples mouths. I wonder if people know what they sound like.

It was great. First time ever there. Clean, no smoke, friendly people, great bar tenders, and cocktail waitresses professional. I am from Texas and its a 520 mile drive but I will be back.

My husband and I love the casino. We got our 15 and 15 play and food so we decided to eat at C & G Grille. We left knowing nothing else could have gone wrong. Seated for 30 minutes before our drink order was taken. Different wait staff brought our food and apologized for being late to work. My husbands order was not what he ordered. My chicken alfredo had been warmed for so long it was a blob. We ate what we could. Sat for 20 to 30 minutes after waiter had taken the free tickets and card to pay for the meals. I left and went to casino playing a while. Went back to cafe and waited with my husband for another 10 to 20 minutes. As I said we left knowing that nothing else could go wrong.

My wife and I travel from Louisiana on a weekly basis. And we never win a sufficient amount of money. Our name never get called for prizes or nothing We lose hundreds of dollars, every week the only people I see winning is older white people. I realize gambling is a risk you take but this is getting ridiculous. For.example Im playing this machine feeding it hundreds of dollars soon as I get up this white lady sits down and hit 11hundred. Asian, Carvery and Southern cuisine was very good. The seafood gumbo needs work; the consistency was too thick. The potato salad seemed to have a bit too much vinegar. The waitress and other staff were superb!

What a beautiful Resort! Stayed for 5 days. 2 days at the Casino tower and 3 days at Beach Tower. Well appointed rooms. Spacious. Friendly staff and helpful. Rooms had mimi fridge, no microwave. Beds and pillows comfortable. Didnt hear our neighbors talking which was a plus as in some hotel rooms. Breathe-taking views from the window of our room. We stayed in a double queen room. Bathroom had a large walking shower with glass walls/door. Large marble counter and sink. Large soft towels and bath cloths. Had an amazing experience!

I love all of the rewards and the games. The rooms are great and the restaurants have amazing food. Especially Carter Greens. Dockside deli for breakfast on the deck. Perfect way to wake up.

Had an amazing time here. Our suite was everything youd expect from a higher end hotel. We stayed in the beach view side. This is by far the nicest comp room we have had in our travels to casinos around the country. We will definitely be coming back

Love this casino I go every weekend free drinks but please tip the waiters are hard workers the casino itself is chill but exciting there is no fighting over machines or anything however one time in the roulett table the lady running it kept begging and begging for a tip from my friend and becayse he was waiting towards the end of the game to tip her and not at the spot she started calling him cheap and started to not let him place even the minimum bet which is really bad service from her part

This was truly a great stay. The place is COVID-19 ready although only patrons 21+ can come in. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because we ran out of towels first day and didnt get any new ones until the 3rd day.

Food was mostly dry & overcooked or undercooked like the boiled shrimp. Not sure what exactly changed since I was here a few years back but the food was definitely much better then. Island View buffet crew: please, please figure out what went wrong and get it together soon because the buffet was the number one reason to stay in the hotel but now its the number one reason to look at other options for my next visit. Waitresses are wonderful.

Hotel and restaurants are awesome. Staff is so friendly. Despite security screening at all entrances and spreading out of functional machines, masking is not being enforced, even though its supposedly mandatory. I guess thats a battle no one can win. Still give a four. Great location staff, and dining.

Dont now what happened, the coffee was at least drinkable til Covid, now itsso weak the coffee tastes like water and still charging $3 a cup! So if your a coffee drinker and like to drink watery coffee, visit the Coffee Shop, they will hook you up! If not better bring your own!

Island view is my favorite casino in the area. They are doing well at keeping casino and hotel clean, safe for people since covid 19. Only thing I would recommend is that they had handicapped doors buttons to push so door will open automatically.

Beautiful scene nightmare dealers. If you want to drink and have a good scene this is for you. The dealers are very well trained and very rude with the exception of one dealer Zoung. The have a large crew of sharp rude pit bosses that stay down the dealers neck and rotate them out if the players have the slightest edge as well. I’ve played at every casino on the coast and the most here, but never have won a dollar here and I expect this from gambling but in 7 years of consistent playing I have also not received any kind of room or food comp nor has a friend of mine after playing 10,000 in a month before. I have went to other ones that I’ve played much less at and receive free rooms and comps every month. It’s nice just to go to and have fun just don’t plan to gamble unless your okay with 100 percent loosing. There is no slack. Period. And this isn’t just comping from me it’s locally known and discussion always surfaces even at other casinos. Very scary rep but very beautiful place. I still go here to eat and have a drink because it’s by far the nicest casino in my opinion but it comes at a cost.

This is my first time visiting this casino. Didnt know it had two different sides. One side is directly on the beach and the other side is across the street. It was very clean and the customer service great. I tried to Buffet and I have to say the all of the food was great! Since we were new members to their Players Club we each received $15 credit towards any of the restaurants there. We chose to Buffet. The buffet is $12. Ill definitely go back.

Someone Is giving false information out over the phone at this location. It is not a new gaming commission law that you be 21 and over to enter, its an island view policy. I called to inform the location of this yesterday evening (after having a terrible expirence at the location the night before) and was given terrible costumer service from the supervisor of the front desk. I see now It clearly shows it on the website however, I was not informed of the policy when I checked in, or had my stuff brought up. Only after my younger sibling arrived to spend the night together for my birthday. When we called from out front (while waiting on our stuff to be brought down bc you cant touch the carts) to see why or since when she couldnt even be escorted is when we were lied to about the law.

They were awesome I brought my friend there for his birthday and they had a wonderful time all the people there were great

Nice looking place but the gambling is way too expensive, bring a large bank roll because this place doesnt cater to the average gambler.

Excellent place to be, especially on the weekends, I was in luck and did not miss the crawfish on Tuesday and Thursday this year, very lively place, they have a smoking and nonsmoking side, I rather play the tables, but I always have free money, and I tend to win from time to time, yoga on Sundays, I have to start going to see their live entertainment soon, I tried some of their restaurants inside, and we enjoyed the food! Love the store that stays open all night, items are original! Love the free drinks when I stay, always enjoy the scenery, the people’s eye nice, and the owners give back to the community! I am hoping for a new vehicle one day!
