Shoeless Joe Jackson use to be a clean beautiful park but lately they havent taken care of the play ground area or picnic area..They do not keep the trash picked up nor grass maintained like they once did.. theres graffiti wrote all in the tunnels and on the slides at playground. They let it go an doesnt seem to care to maintain it anymore..

This park was larger than I realized when I was looking at pictures on Google maps: it had a play ground, a couple of different swing sets and a nice, shaded pavilion. Its connected to a baseball park via a cute little path with a bridge but everything was locked up and inaccessible.While the grounds were generally well-kept, the play set looked like it needed a good power-washing. There was dirt and mold all over the play structures and a couple of swings were missing.

Love this historical park. Been bringing the kids here for years. Yes its not in the prettiest neighborhood, with million dollar homes, but it does represent the real Greenville. The blue collar workers who made this town grow and profit. This park is just the right size to keep track of your kids and have fun without having to chase them all the time so as not to lose sight of them. Theres a nice little Creek that runs beside it with a bridge your can cross to the other side were the baseball field is.

Clean Park, very well maintained, not a lot of people around. So it makes it very private. benches under awnings so you can sit and eat with friends and family,also a good place to have a birthday party for your children if youre looking into doing a cookout at a park...

We really enjoyed this park. The playset doesnt seem to get too terribly hot even in the full sun so thats definitely a plus. Theres a little creek nearby that the kids can explore and quite a bit of grassy areas to have a picnic or throw a Frisbee. My only complaint is that its near a factory (or maybe several) and theres an odd smell which kind of makes me wonder what Im breathing in, haha

I love this lil park i have been going here for over 20 years with all my dogs and grands they are in the midst of upgrading now its looking even better..GO GUYS GO

The field was in great shape. Also, one of the few baseball fields, that has a good out of shade

Beautiful green grass and clean natural surroundings.

Great swings (that swing really high!) and climbing equipment. Well-shaded playground and usually pretty quiet.

I sent the facility to coach little league football and the place is always clean and th grass is always cut.
