Really nice easy hiking trail. One problem is the lake has a lot of nasty stagnant water. Unfortunately there was limited spots our dogs could only swim in. Also the biggest complaint is the parking spots. You have to drive up on the side walks to get to the parking spots.
Easy access to watershed trails without having to deal with high traffic areas or additional drive time if youre already in the city. Parking is limited and fills up quickly. No bathrooms nearby.
Trails are clearly marked and maintained well. Parking could be a little more clear. Good adventure that takes a few hours.
Great easy, short hike (less than 3 miles) close to the world
Saw 8 deer first time. Nice.
It was a good walk. I was expecting a paved greenway but the trail wasnt bad. We ran right into the greenway though...
Beautiful trail along lake Brandt. Not a very hard, run it back and forth in 68min. Very good sings so easy to find yourself.
Decently green.
Great trail that leads to other trails and the yadkin Greenway
Nat Greene is a great trail through the woods along the shore of Lake Brandt. The gravel lot on Olde Battleground road is small, with space for only 4 or 5 cars. The trail is about 3.25 miles long and takes you to Lake Brandt marina. After an initial .6 miles you come to the Greenway where you turn left just a bit before turning back into the woods on your right to continue on the trail.
Great trail, close in to Greensboro, lake views, not too strenuous, about 5 miles round trip
The trail itself is great, but good luck with parking. The lot is minuscule to begin with and only has space for 6 cars if parked conscientiously, but frequently people park haphazardly and diagonally and manage to take up the entire lot with only 3-4 cars. I often have to go somewhere else when I want to hike this trail because of this problem.
Beautiful place to hike for all activity levels. My two year old loved it. Be familiar with the trails, if you’re not wanting to hike 10+miles, you’ll most likely need to hike out and back, no loop.
Limited parking. A trashcan and dog waste bags would be a great addition.
Nice trail system. Very popular though, ran into other hikers and bikers on every trail.
Very good trail. A little hike.
This is a great trail for all ages. It is low difficulty with plenty to see (including the lake).
Very good condition. Trail markings could use a bit more detail especially where wild turkey intersects. Start at the old courthouse battlefield on old battleground and go up to the trailhead via the greenway then follow it to the marina and back its almost exactly 10 miles.
Nice clean trails!
Easy hike, nice scenery
Parking area small, no signs to indicate trail heads, maps, etc. Trails muddy when wet, some water views. Easy to moderate.
Private near lake, lots trails. Great place to run, . Slight elevation changes
Beautiful trail
Good for summer trail, cool, calm, easy trail
I use to go here daily
Small local trail for a quick day hike
This is where you walk
Nice
Parking for 3-4 cars right off of Old Battleground.
My go-to trail for a run
Very nice and calm
