I love the energy Park the history in the exact area where the park is is in itself extremely cool. Now there are Weekly concerts every Thursday night is a free concert and you can rent out Amphitheater for your own show if you desire. This park used to. Have have beautiful flower gardens and people eating lunch on your lunch breaks I will go down there to write in my journal now its a place that the town lets how much people hang out and sleep and its unfortunate. When there is a planned event I highly recommend you go cuz it is a lot of fun however I recommend going to a different Park if youre just going to bring your kids down for a half an hour to hang out with them or something more than there are a group of people hanging out and smoking cigarettes and its just not a healthy environment at this current moment unless theres an event going on.

A cute little family party with a lot of history regarding trains.Even have a small train playground and easy walk from the center of the city.

Its a pass through park where one can sit, with benches and a band stand. I visit to draw and reflect. Summer concerts and theater performances.

Atmosphere is improving. Was questionable for a while but with more patrols and less litter the park is nice. They also do many events during the warmer seasons.

I love the fact that they had a vintage and a model train there and they preserved a part of the old Greenfield station.

Needs more shaded seating. Mostly peaceful

Fantastic place in the heart of beautiful historic downtown Greenfield.

It looked so run down when we visited it over the summer.

Well I was there for the 16th annual Mental Health Fair and it always is a GREAT with get information in the different agencies in Franklin County and the Valley that help with mental health. This is more of a small venue park to hold concerts and other things the city of Greenfield holds during the year.

This place was terrible! Trying to go support locally and went on a wild goose chase to a dog event that said it was at Green River Park. I knew where Green River Park was and hadnt been there in decades, got there and there was no dog park, but luckily was redirected towards the fairgrounds by the nice girl at the gate house. Well, since I hadnt been downtown in so long I went that way but had to make a quick stop to let the dog out to pee, and went down to Energy Park off Main Street. We drove into the EMPTY parking lot and werent even at the park but maybe 10 min. I come back to a $10 ticket, ON A SATURDAY??? I live in downtown Springfield, THEY dont even ticket on a Saturday! So sad Greenfield, youre NOT NYC, what a waste. Id like to think the money would go to cleaning up your pathetic park but sadly it wont! What a greedy, money hungry and pathetic place to visit! If this comment section would let me then you would be getting NO STARS from me, because sadly, YOU DONT SHINE!! So glad that I stayed away for decades too, wont be coming back either!

After about 6pm, the locals may offer you beer, cigarettes or, illegal drugs. Make sure your phone works if passing through at night. Beware of stray needles.

Nice to place to take a little walk and learn a little history.

Used to love bringing my kids here to play and watch the trains but it is over taken by homeless ppl that sit there drinking and being obnoxious. With cameras there you would think that would deter them from loitering there but it doesnt. Its a shame cuz we love the flowers that ppl work hard to care for.

Nice place to hang

Energy Park, a small onclave just off of main street Greenfield. It consist of series of benches on a circular lawn. A stage pavilion for preformances which are preformed bi-weekly during the summer months. Dog walking and personal contemplation are the parks primary use. It serves as a walking connection from lower Bank Row and Deerfield Streets to the Main street bus stop and businrsses along Miles St.

It is a nice little park but the drug trade is in full swing with deals and vagrants abound. I feel sad for Greenfield.

I actually like this place, i do however feel the town could have used better materials on the play area for the children, and I wish the benches were reinforced, and the cops people do harass certain people when in the area, I notice....i LIKE the place its quiet place to read, and just think...!!!

Not much to see or do there.

This place is a constant hang out spot for the towns drunks and recreational junkies, it seems as though some years ago there was a garden which is now as over run with weeds and garbage as the town itself, its a shame the town I grew up in now looks like a huge crack house...sad indeed..

Alot of addicts hang out here when there is no town events going on. Place is always riddled with trash.
