The sanctuary does alot for the wildlife resources around the area. Trails are well maintained for all seasons. The staff ensures the best care possible for the grounds and the animals that are not able to be released. They work very hard at trying to rehabilitate to release. Wls does alot to educate, they provide great programs for children and adults to keep awareness and promote natural resources among us. The events that are hosted by Wls, and afiliated groups such as Rpaws are done with great care in the best interest to the animals, and nature. The staffing is very knowledgeable and happy to help assist or educate if questions may arise.Well worth a visit for any age to get back or give back to the outdoor natural rescources in the area. Two thumbs up here!

Amazing! Few areas are still closed due to covid but there is still plenty to see and do! From the raptor trail to the observation room to nature trail and center it was all amazing! Bought a bag of corn for $1 to feed the geese and ducks then got a nice water bottle for only $3!!! I live 2 hours away and would come back to support again!

It was nice to see so many different animals. But my daughter and myself were very dad to see a few of the animals did not seem very well taken care of. This one poor bird had no food or water and was in a tiny cage alone. In the inside part next to the bear hide. Some of the snakes looked skinny and the birds pens were very dirty. Wish theyd take better care of the animals. Maybe a few to enter would help. I would gladly pay if it meant better care.

I really enjoy the wildlife sanctuary, there are lots of animals to see, mainly birds but also otters, foxes, a cougar and more. Unfortunately most of the inside areas they usually offer are closed right now due to Covid-19. You can also feed the ducks and geese in several areas and they typically offer corn for 1$.

Traveled to Green Bay specifically to visit this site to bird. Appears to be a wonderful organization and facility. All buildings were closed, understandably. There were many clean feeders placed around one of the buildings offering a wide variety of fresh seed foods for birds. I was very disappointed that there were so few birds on the grounds (except Canada geese and mallards), and fewer at the feeders. I know birds dont make appointments, however, all factors were present for them to be there -- but they were no shows.

This is a very large tranquil scenic park with several connected ponds, trails, a man made waterfall and mature trees. It is free to visit and you can buy bags of corn for $1.00 to feed the hundreds of ducks and geese. They also have some animals (coyotes, lynx, porcupine, deer, a bobcat, birds of prey) in enclosures who cannot be returned to the wild. Its a nice time for the whole family:).

The Wildlife Sanctuary is always a fun spot. They have a variety of animals that you can see in both indoor and outdoor habitats. The geese and ducks are plentiful. For a dollar, you can buy a bag of corn to feen the geese. The buildings have lots to do including a slide, and a lot to see. My kids love this place!

This is a FREE family friendly attraction within walking distance of the amusement park. Very educational and stroller friendly. The (wild) birds arent afraid of you because you can buy cracked corn to feed them. Their rescue efforts need your support so make sure to stop at the gift shop. Kids this as cheap as 35¢ and useful things such as mugs start at 9$. Great stop for a quick educational trip.

You can feed deer, turkeys, ducks, geese. This place is Great! While I was there I seen this lady drop off 3 week old red tail squirrels, to the rescue. They took them in with open arms.. A nice alternative to the zoo atmosphere. Less exotics than the zoo, but more native species. Because its free, its easy to go several times a year with the kids, winter being our favorite. The animals seem less stressed with far fewer people and are more active in the exhibits. There is also a good amount of hands on and close encounters. Beautiful outdoor natural space, walking trails, and landscaping. Be sure to help them out if you visit! They are free, but do awesome things like RPAWS which anyone can take an injured wild animal in and they rehabilitate or give it medical care.

You can see deer, wolves, and a ton of ducks/geese. You can buy corn for 1$ and feed them which is always fun. There is a lot of goose droppings and has a funny smell. Is a free nature center that has a lot to offer you can safely spend about 2 hours checking out what they have. The hiking trails are hidden but they are nice if your looking for a walk.
