This museum is different than most Ive been too. A large verity of local and state history. Antique guns, clothing and dinosaurs fossils. Took about an hour to go through. Its nice to see local surrounding history. I would say out of all my travels this place is at the top 10 places too visit!

We were the only visitors for for 3/4ths of the visit. 2 other families came and it was easy to keep a social distance. Everything we touched was cleaned after. Great Guns and Gowns, Dinosaur, and tiny Packer exhibits. Nice playroom also.

I revisit this place occasionally when I want to get out but dont want a ton of social interaction. They have some permanent exhibits as well as others that they rotate out. Entertaining for kids, interesting and educational for adults. Price is fair. Cute gift shop.

Always something interesting here. Different temporary exhibits move through. Core museum is currently undergoing updates and is closed. Great hometown museum! Check out Lego Lambeau when you go.

Museum was great. The gift shop lady took forever knowing we had to haul out our two year for touching things. Only took her time getting the dinosaur he was throwing a fit for. Like really -_-

Went to see the “Guns & Gowns” display and was very pleased. Liked how within the displays you could touch the fabric and read about how/why the designs and fabrics changed. It was not expensive but disappointed there wasn’t a discount due to the renovation nor was there one because of it being winter break from school.Loved the gift shop and the employee there was great.

Very spread out in a weird layout. Too much reading. And the main area we came to see is under construction for a year... so its not worth the price right now.

This is an OK Museum. Cost was inexpensive at only $7 per adult. If you have time this museum is worth seeing for the cost. It has some very interesting facts on local history. But could use some updating.

The dinosaur exhibit was disappointing. Should have had more real bones and skeletons.

The lady at the desk said that was still so much to see even know the main part was under construction for a year. There was 2 exhibits which were so small, if your looking to waste 10 minutes this is a great place to be.

Worth it if you have some extra time.

Theyre still charging the same price for half the exhibits. Dont go. Almost the entire upper floor is under construction.

Great place for families, with a lot of interactive exhibit elements. Great for some local Green Bay history. Great views from the building as well, situated in a great party of downtown GB.

We were visiting from iut of town, looking for things to occupy the day. We came across the museum and stopped in. The staff was super-friendly. The price for four of us (Adult, 2 seniors, 1 child) was $24- not a bad deal.Downstairs had a lot of nice exhibits all about the history of Brown County and the Green Bay area. Theres more to Green Bay history than just the Packers! Who knew?!In a separate room, a giant Lambeau Field made out of Legos was on display.

I enjoy going to museums and the Neville is a great short day trip. I wish Green Bay would invest and expand with a larger facility and some newer displays. Not much has changed since I was a kid. I get a family annual pass so no longer use the veterans discount, but its great they offer it for other veterans. I frequent the museum to just take a meandering daydreaming stroll through to relax.

The Neville is a great place to learn about the history of the area. Their permanent exhibits havent changed much since I was a child but I feel like I still learn something new every time I visit. They also have some really fun temporary exhibits and hold some fun programs. Morbid Curiousties during Halloween has been a blast!

As someone who loves to visit museums and has even volunteered at a couple of museums, I could not enjoy this museum. The displays were poorly laid out with replica items instead of the actual items. There are lighting and glass options that allow for viewing actual museum pieces without damaging them! The mannequins are not proportioned properly for the clothing displays and the descriptions for many of the displays were either unreadable or didnt match the items! There was one display for example that talked about the Sears and Roebuck catalog and that everything in the display could be found in the catalog, but there was not a single catalog or ad to compare to! Even a copy of the ad near the item would be helpful! One display listed a pattern machine by the treadle sewing machine and sewing basket, but was not there! Another display had items listed that included a plaque (which wasnt in the display) but not the canteen that WAS in the display! It was also hard to follow any type of theme. All of the displays are just kind of thrown into the main display room. There was a miniature farm that would be better displayed in a layout that actually looks like a farm instead of along a larger display on plain display cabinets. I could go on, but I think I have gotten my point across. I understand that funding can be an issue, but seriously! $5 for admission and you cant have things dusted?!

Half of the museum gives the history of the area and always remains consistent (stays the same) The other large galleries change every few months so theres always something new. Also love the discovery room for my nieces and nephews. The walk along the river is nice and we always find a different restaurant or the farmers market to walk to after our visit.

Great new exhibit with the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, Inc. There are even Lombardi trophies and lots of interesting stuff for all fans. Also two other exhibits right now. One that is old museum-like - a step back in time with tons of objects. The other exhibit is about WWI. Good place!

This is an excellent museum with a theatre type area for presentations. I attended a lecture put on by the deputy director on shipwrecks of Green Bay. He did a spectacular and informative talk. Personally, I wish there were more art shows but I understand they are trying to reach a larger audience. They display the Ostensorium (a special container for holy artifacts) presented by explorer Nicolas Perrot to the Jesuit Mission at DePere and a painting in the stairwell depicts this scene. It was buried to protect it and was dug up by accident in 1802. It is the oldest surviving physical artifact of French settlement west of the Alleghenies.
