Had the best drinks Ive ever had at this bar, Kristen is an amazing bartender. Had a great time and will be going back on my next trip to Wisconsin.

This was a nice stop not far away from the Hampton inn just down the street. They have a nice and new interior which was nicely decorated. I tried a few of their signature cocktails and the were different, yet good. Gunpowder was really different as it came with a stick of cinnamon which the bartender lit like a cigar to dress the drink. Will be back if Im in the area again.

I was visiting Green Bay for the weekend and I was so happy we stopped here. Not only were the drinks amazing (and cheap) the service was wonderful. Everyday they have a three hour happy hour for some basic drinks (lime margarita, gin gimlet, old fashioned, Moscow mule and maybe another) for only 4$ a pop, they also have daily specials as well. They also have an amazing array of signature cocktails. The best of which being the amazing Danielles signature drink, the Safe Word (the green one pictured, the pink one is the lace and perfume which was a close runner up). The staff were nice and attentive and the atmosphere was amazing! There were also many games throughout the establishment as well, and live music! If youre in Green Bay this is a must see!

This place is incredible. The atmosphere is warm, dark, classy and still relaxed! They have the most incredible signature cocktails (because these are more than just drinks) that are hand crafted with time and attention to detail. Their ingredients are so fresh and the alcohol they use is top notch. Not complaining, it takes a few min to make each cocktail but its soo worth it. Reasonably priced for such an amazing product. Free flat bread during happy hour a long with a few other menu items sourced from their sister establishment (not sure where or what it is). Bumper pool sits up on a stage along with a small lounge area; they have a few other games as well.

The first stop on a crawl of downtown Green Bay. Came in for cocktails at the suggestion of a local. I could walk there from my hotel downtown (and by that I mean the area is very walker friendly)Stopped in early to take advantage of their happy hour. They run different specials every day of the week, to include very reasonably priced versions of some of the classics. They also have a variety of house made specialties. The menu mentions not only the ingredients of the cocktails, but also the influence, the glass in which it is served, and the bartender who created it. A cocktail enthusiast myself, I appreciate the extra information and its really a conversation starter with the bartender.

The absolute BEST craft cocktail spot in town! The Libertine has been around for a number of years now, opening before craft cocktails were sought after in Green Bay. Now, The Libertine is a hip, modern spot to hang out for casual drinks created with the utmost care and intent. The ingredients are innovative, and the flavors are meant to spark conversation and broaden your tastebud horizons. They also knock classics, like an Old Fashioned or Negroni, out of the park.

A regular as we live downtown. Unfortunate as we prefer to frequent downtown locations. If I want an iced glass of milk for $7, Ill go home. Which we did. And wont be back...too bad.

Creative and tasty cocktails. We went on a Saturday night and it wasnt too busy, so we had plenty of room for darts and a little dancing amongst our group. Bartenders were attentive. A little pricier than other Green Bay establishments, but worth it!

The Libertine has some of the best drinks in the area. I highly recommend the Gunpowder. The bartenders are so friendly, and they always have a good mix of music on.

The best cocktails in Green Bay, other than Hotel Northland. The bartenders shine with their vast knowledge of classic cocktails and a clear love for the craft, that 99% of bartenders, dont have. Props to the owner for creating a bar that respects the history and the art of making a good cocktail. A must go place for anyone who loves a good, well made drink, in a hip spot downtown.

Was here over the weekend for a party a friend was throwing. Ive not spent a lot of time in Green Bay, but I definitely enjoyed my time here. The cocktails were unique and fun with some extra dramatic flare on a few of them (I highly recommend the Gunpowder). Only negatives I have were that at a certain point in the night the music changed from sort of a chill indie cocktail sipping soundtrack to something more like rejected club hits at an unreasonable volume. Generally speaking, I go to a nightclub if I want to get my thumpy bass on. Kinda was a weird vibe, but the energetic and friendly staff and the awesome cocktail menu more than made up for it. I chalk it up to it being Saturday night. Would recommend.

The Libertine is a great old school bar. It has classic cocktails as the main feature. All of them are done really well and taste very good. The one to try for sure is the original old fashion.

Consistently the best craft cocktail bar in Green Bay. It is a bit more pricey but you get what you pay for. If you just want to go someplace to get hammered this probably wont be the spot, but if you want to try something new and interesting then look no further. The libertine blew me and my group of 15 friends away. The bartenders were making drinks that were not on the menu, everything was amazing, great atmosphere with a big city vibe that I really look for whenever I come back to Green Bay. Classy. This place has amazing craft cocktails, unlike anywhere else in the town - or the state. The bartenders are friendly and sociable. If you want something more upscale than a normal bar, the small upstairs opens at 10pm on Saturday nights for a candlelit library-like atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. My favorite bar downtown!

One of my favorite bars to stop by and have a good drink made, Andrew, the bartender there, makes some mean cocktails! But so do the rest of them. :) very nice bar, plenty of seating and a more relaxed and upscale crowd, but welcoming none the less!

An amazing place! Drinks were spectacular and it was exactly the kind of vibe I was looking for to close off the night. Bartenders were awesome and really knew their stuff.As a nice side story, I realized I had apparently misplaced my scarf the next day at the airport. I contacted The Libertine having a hunch I left it there, and Tony assured me very quickly that they had found it. They helped me organize a FedEx delivery and I got it a couple days later.Needless to say, a great bunch running the place there. Definitely go and enjoy some amazing cocktails!

The Good: This is without a doubt, my favorite drinking establishment in Green Bay! Ive always considered myself to be a beer guy, but The Libertine has definitely swayed me over to cocktails. Dont get me wrong, they still have a decent selection of craft brews, but the real star of the show are their hand crafted cocktails. They have a standard menu of year round offerings, but will swap out some of the items for different seasonal fare. If youre feeling slightly famished, the menu includes a small list of appetizers. Their Happy Hour drink specials are wonderful and even offer free flatbread. Recently, the staff have been offering trivia nights which have been a blast. The music is usually top notch and I always find myself having to Shazam! a few songs so I can remember them for later. If you are looking for an intimate date night, this is definitely the place. Shout our to Micah, Aaron, and Danielle for being some of the best bartenders around!The Bad: One of the only issues I have with the Libertine is the size. Being a stereotypical main street bar, the building itself is very long and narrow. They have some table seating, but large groups might find it difficult to sit at such a long bar and actually speak with one another. Because of the set up, the speaker locations, and building materials, sometimes it can be a little loud. Ive found this particularly frustrating on live music nights. I love listening to the music, but I dont want it pounding into my eardrums all night.The Ugly: I love seeing small businesses thrive, especially when they deserve the recognition for holding a particular level of excellence. That being said, Ive learned to avoid the Libertine on the nights before Packer games. The games draw in a new crowd of out of town-ers who might not know exactly what to expect. This usually means loud, obnoxious sports fans taking over an otherwise calm and intimate drinking establishment. Ive realized that this is almost impossible to avoid in Green Bay, so I dont hold it personally against them.

I used to love this place but the service is very subpar. I tried to give it a try again tonight but we waited for a while and the blonde bartender socialized with the people next to us and wouldnt take our initial order and we left without having anything. This place started out so well but sadly it has gone downhill.
