I heard about this from my kids (in there 30s) that this was a place I should go to. I did like the comfortable seating and that we could have food in the theater. They were doing this long before the big theaters started to do. I liked that there were no crowds and I always like to support local small business. Looking for intersting and unusual films? The Kress shows a wide variety including classics. The theaters are comfortable, you can get great food and drink during the show and its comfy.

Nice atmosphere for a date night. I purchased a booth for the cinema, expecting more than a literal booth in the back of the theater. That said, it was nice to have a table and food and drink service. Menu is short but both things we ordered were delicious. Lounge and restaurant have a nice low light relaxing feel. Cinema was in good condition and the screen and sound were good. Over all great prices for a different experience and night out.

I had so much fun here. It was first time. And its super cute. It reminds me of an old oprah house. The staff was all very friendly and attentive. We were able to drink while watching the movie and had drinks delivered half way through. Highly recommend!

Went downstairs to the Speakeasy Friday night. It was packed! Although every seat at the bar was full and every table occupied the server found us two seats at a table with four young people, we had a nice time. The cocktails are great, cool atmosphere.

Went in for some small bites an hour before our show. All the food was absolutely delicious. Thought wed need boxes. We ended up eating everything and felt super satisfied. Got to our seats just before the previews began. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The ambiance is great and the theater chairs a really comfortable. Highly recommend checking this theater out.

Great place to watch a movie. Movie price was as much or less than a regular movie theater. Killer craft cocktails and food. Got a booth last time we went. It was very uncomfortable for the premium price. Check out the speakeasy downstairs if you go. Great date place or with friends.

The Kress crew were amazing in helping us map out a reception plan. Linde and Ron met with us early on and answered all our questions and were very helpful. We went with the heavy appetizer buffet which was catered by, Greeley Chophouse. It was delicious and affordable. (Prime rib sliders, jumbo shrimp, veggie lasagna, cheese, veggie and fruit trays). Our family and friends all commented on how tasty everything was.

What a great gem this place is! So cool! Saw a movie for a birthday party but they offer so much more! Movies, bar, food etc... A must check out in downtown Greeley!

They always show incredible movies & have delicious food/drinks. The food prices are also great for a movie theater.

Had our work xmas party here. omg it was phenomenal. the staff was very attentive. drinks were great. and the theatres are very nice to where you can have your drinks and stuff with you. very nice

The Kress is a beautiful place to view a movie. The cocktails are delicious and the service is friendly. I love that they often show films you cant find in other local theaters.

The new cinema was great - seat comfy. The lights went out on time but no movie, just loud music - we sat in the dark for 15 minutes before the movie started. Besides being weird it too dark for old folks to safely find their seat. Patrons helped with their cellphone lights. Im sure this just oversight-I will be back again

The super-secret speakeasy is my favorite place in town to get a drink. They really did an excellent job of creating an intimate, classy atmosphere in a town that specializes in neither! The list of seasonal cocktails always has incredible options but the bartenders can also make whatever you want! I always get the pickled mixed vegetables to munch on while I drink.

Such a fantastic environment! Fun for the whole family. Every time Im in town I have to stop by the Kress :)

Best theater around! Very reasonably priced tickets and snacks, not anymore expensive than the greeley cinemark but a much better experience. Full bar. They can bring you food half way through the movie which was incredible.

The Kress is such a rad place to see a flick. They have popcorn and soda, which Im technically not supposed to have, and its SOOOOO good. The seats were rolly chairs (kind of like office chairs one might say) and that I have to give an upvote for because those types of chairs are frickin awesome.

I love the Kress. Its so fun to watch movies there. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are very far away, so if you need to go during the movie, you miss a lot. I was told that they are renovating some bathrooms nearer to the theater and will open them soon. That would be awesome!!

Excellent theater experience and venue. If you are up for unique dining that is simple with a selected movie of the week this is the spot.

Im quite the critic about places but the kress is a gem. Awsome concept, great historic space and location. They will introduce cool thought provoking movies that you wouldnt normally see, in my case anyway. Perfect for a lovely evening of a movie and a chat at the cool bar.

The upstairs bar was nice and quite, great place to share a drink and have a conversation. The female bartender was very friendly and accommodating. Closed too early but I forget this is Greeley and everything closes too early. Also they have a very limited drink and beer selection. I feel like this place has some great potential that they just arent recognizing.

Fantastic place for a light meal, or appetizers and dessert. The lounge/bar is fantastic. Service is great too. Come when they are playing something you want to see and enjoy the experience!

I love The Kress Cinema! This place has such a retro look and feel that I love. Prices are reasonable. Food and drinks are amazing. They will deliver food or drinks during the show. Just say when you order. Seats are great! The booth is not very comfortable.

Comfortable, good service. Menu quite limited, but does have a few vegetarian dishes. The mushroom quesadilla was wonderful, but very small.

The theater is very small so make sure to buy your tickets early. Especially on weekends. Id bet during the week youd be okay but I still buy them in advance just to be sure.The popcorn and soda is cheap and their cocktails are great, and the Speakeasy downstairs makes some great drinks as well.One of my favorite places to go see a movie in Greeley.

What an amazing gem! You get to pick your seat when you buy your ticket. The staff was extremely kind. My boyfriend and I were visiting from Chicago and thought the Kress craft cocktails rivaled some of the best bars in the city!! Loved it and can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful selection of independent movies, but great Christmas classics during the month of December. The Kress has a phenomenal food and drink menu that you can enjoy during the movie. Even non-movie goers could enjoy an evening out in the bar.

I just love the atmosphere and the staff is so kind. Not to mention the food and drinks are amazing.

Why would anyone go see a movie and support a mega corporation like Cinemark when you can support a local historic downtown Greeley business, see 1st run movies in an intimate setting, have a craft cocktail, beer or food delivered to your seat. Awesome place! Do not forget to visit the Speak Easy under the Kress after the move.

There are two parts to the Kress Lounge. You can go to the movie or you can just have drinks. The movie part is great. You can grab a drink or order something to drink while youre watching the movie.There is an main level bar area and a Speakeasy downstairs. Every time Ive gone downstairs, I get the feeling Im not invited. Food and drinks are over priced. A 4 oz glass of ginger beer is $9. Waitress was rude. I walked in alone and was told Id have to sit at the bar. I sat at a booth when I explained I had friends coming. When my friends left and I had paid my tab, I was asked to leave to make room for more customers. There was live music, which was nice, but the musicians didnt get paid . The musicians werent even offered anything to drink. I only give it a 3 rating because of the movie theater.

Not only can you come to this beautifully designed theater and watch a movie in at most comfort, they bring you all your food and beverage needs straight to your seat! They are even in the process of updating their seating to better accommodate their customers! Justin, behind the bar will wow you with his unique and very delicious take on cocktails! Give them a try you wont be sorry!

Quiet atmosphere, great drinks and the Cubano sandwich is the bomb!

Comfortable seats though the angle isnt great so hope someone tall doesnt sit in front of you; ability to choose your seat when you buy it there which is nice. Good customer service and theyll bring the food orders to you but overpriced food (deviled eggs are pretty bland on flavor except for mustard, but good). Great sound and lighting for the movie-easily hear, and enjoy, the movie. Only serve bottled water ($1). Good parking options-parallel across the street. Older-released movie options only available and only 1 movie stadium, but affordable ($7 movies) and overall enjoyable outing. Nice seating/lounge area available in the front of the establishment, good drinks selection.

The Kress is a treasure in downtown Greeley. Staff is amazingly friendly, the ambience is excellent, the cocktails are delicious, and they screen wonderful art and off-beat films that wed otherwise miss in Greeley. For a great night out, you cant go wrong with The Kress.

Saw the movie Buck here with my friend Anita. We met for dinner and it was delicious and a reasonable price. She wasnt quite done before the movie started so we brought the food in and she finished it as the movie stared. Nice to have that option. The place is decorated tastefully, great renovation job.....and the movies are all so different. Highly recommend. This is a treasure right here in Greeley. I understand they have some free movie nights on Sundays......my friend saw Mary Poppins there and everyone sang along. how cool! :-)
