I guess you could call the spot we were assigned a pull through. The only problem was you had to jump a curb or a curb and a sidewalk to do it. As soon as we got out of the truck to unhook the trailer, my husband was swarmed with mosquitoes, not just a couple but dozens. The grass around the camping spot was tall and full of stickers. Grass grew across the sidewalk to the office. The trashcan for our spot was tied to a lamp post that didnt work. Every where we have camped before has had outside things to use like a picnic table or a fire ring or a pole to hang a lantern on. This place had nothing outside besides mosquitoes, tall grass, and stickers. Oh, and the smell. The waste water treatment plant is just down the road and the smell definitely drifts down to the campground. It did have water, electricity, and sewer hookups. Internet and cable were offered but cost extra. There was a lot of traffic noise as well. I definitely recommend staying some place else!!
Our air conditioner went out and we needed to come to Great Bend and put it in. So we called the owner of this campground. He is a wonderful owner who gave us great directions, and his guy John was very helpful in getting us settled. Hook ups worked very well .Great place to stay for a day or 2.Also either bring cash or checkbook he does not take debit or credit cards.Cant say enough nice things about the owner and John.Folks are very helpful and friendly.Price is good .
We move around alot and this park has a lot of amenities that we are not used too. We get internet and cable included in the rent which is very reasonable we think. Its out of town but its quite! Everyone was very helpful and nice. Definitely recommend!!
I would highly recommend this park. The BEST in the area. Wonderful management and very good people in the park. We moved in the park for long term and our experience is just wonderful every day. The park maintenance has addressed issues about grass burs and honest effort in cleaning the driveways and parking lot. They have storm shelters during bad weather and community shower rooms. Their PET policy is the BEST.
Asked for a pull thru site. Didnt get one. But very helpful staff.
Very nice park. Clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay. Park manager was great....helpful, polite and entertaining. Park has storm shelters and community showers. Will recommend …..and come stay here again.
Just a little ways outside of downtown Great Bend this is a lovely place has playground for children large for area for you to play with your dogs long as you clean up after him very friendly staff large lots of parking in the front very nice place
Misadvertised. Looks nothing like the ad. We had traveled far and were exhausted. So depending on an accurate ad. We thought it really looked good. Unmowed grass lots. Park Where ever. No restrooms, No showers. No walkable restaurants. Totally Fake ad.
I wont recommend this place. No picnic table nor fire ring. Have to back over a curb to get on your site. The hookups are shabby.
Ok place to stay. The biggest problem is the grass burs everywhere and get tracked into your RV. You have to be careful where they try and put you because they tried to park me were I would have to drive up a hill and put our motorhome in a bind turning into the spot. This park is a trailer park that is about 50% TVs. Prices keep going up in the last few years. $160 a week.
What I needed it for so perfect
Home is where the heart is
Excellent service & wonderful people! The lots are great and have sidewalks & slabs for tables & chairs.
It is a blessing that we have a place.. Where it is..is quite..

I loved it there.... Management was good, nice showers, but the neighbors are not KiD friendly !!!!!!!!!!! Very rude I have 2 lil kids and kept getting complaints cuz they would play like normal kids
