I my doggiez have grown so fast in this park...the other dog ownerz have been VERY respectful of each otherz space!!We only live in area since JULY!!

One of the best playgrounds in the city. Several special options that little boys really like that arent at other parks. Well landscaped with benches, picnic tables and shelters.

Nice park! Plenty of beautiful trees. Nice grass. And we found a free table! Me and my friend play dominos in the park a lot.

I like this park. Beautiful trees, good place to take the kids and to get some walking in too.

This used to be our favorite park...great play area, lots of nice trees and shade, and kept clean by the City. Now, however, there are too many transients hanging around the park at all hours. While GJPD is making positive efforts to patrol the area regularly, I still see fighting between the homeless folks on a regular basis, lots of shouting at each other, and lots of dogs they dont clean up after. We dont go here anymore, unless we go in a large group.

A nice relaxing park. People doing yoga, kids playing, parties being had.

I will get five stars because its a really secluded place. Not many people so theyre finally you will enjoy the quietness. In a really nice neighborhood. The only problem will be the one or two homeless people.

Hawthorne Park have barbecues theres some times for big birthday parties great place parks are always beautiful place to hang out

It has become a homeless people hang outIts like an ocean tide this week they are here next week there gone. The 1 % of the group cause the grief, drunk or drugged leads to arguing amongst a few. The facility is great the play area for children is wonderful

A family friendly neighborhood park with play area, picnic areas, restrooms & drinking fountain all in 1 city block. Maintained by city employees daily. Lots of shade trees, grass & walkways to be enjoyed!

We were at this park for our grandsons football team BBQ and what a disappointment this park has become. It has become the living room for the homeless. When my kids were young it was one of our favorite parks to picnic but on this day NO ONE could even go to the bathroom alone. It is overrun with homeless bums who do not respect other peoples boundaries. They had constantly growling or barking dogs and were loud, obnoxious and constantly fighting with each other. That will be the last time I go to that Park. I feel really sad for the people who have to live in that neighborhood. A neighborhood that at one time was a very beautiful area to live in. It is heartbreaking how this disrespectful, rude and invasive group of people have degraded it and made it an unsafe place for families to enjoy.

The park itself is nice. Its well maintained, plenty of shade with nice grass and clean bathrooms.But each time Ive stopped there have been multiple groups of homeless people that have staked out their places.
