We had our daughters birthday party at the museum. It was such an incredible experience. The kids loved all of the hands-on opportunities that the museum offers. We did the unicorn slime activity and the staff was so kind and patient. Nathan was an amazing party host. I highly recommend the science museum for a daytime activity or party venue.

I can see now why they dont call it a childrens museum; its choc full of fascinating exhibits for all ages! Seriously, unique stations that captivated young and old. I took my 3 kids, ages 4-15 and they all loved it, plus my husband and I had a blast exploring/explaining as we went along. Id say 2 hours is about enough time for a good visit. Definitely a good value. They even have coffee on sale for a parent pick me up.

We tried out a 2 day camp for our kiddos while school was out and they loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful at drop off and pick up. Our kids did all kinds of fun activities each day and enjoyed attending. The price is a little more steep than other day camps we have done but we will still go back! So many awesome displays and a great little shop too. Worth checking out!!

Before going to the Eureka McConnell Center my grandson was saying I dont want to go. I dont like science. As soon as we arrived he started playing with a wall made of gears while I was paying. While he played with the different exhibits I read what the card said. He would ask a lot of questions. We needed to leave and he begged me to take him back later in the same day. SCIENCE CAN BE FUN!

Awesome hands on museum! The adults in our party and the kids had a great time. The rock cave, cogs, and bubbles were some of our favorite parts. The beehive is really cool too!

This place was very fun and enjoyable for all ages was to expensive but I do have one concern for the guinea pigs I own one myself and they are in a very small cage one shouldn’t be in the one I had saw them in I suggest getting a much bigger cage I had asked someone if I could hold one and they had trouble getting it because she could barely grab it out of the cage but please please think about getting them a bigger cage!

My kids love this place, we have been members for a couple years now. Used to visit it way back at its previous location, its only gotten better since the move. Staff are super cool. We have been taking advantage of their out of school camps, and my kiddos absolutely love it. Keep up the good work. Great place for birthday parties, field trips, etc...

$7 for adults. 3 and under are free. Kids over 3 are $6 if I recall correctly. Its a small place but there are a lot of activities. Theres a toddler area with younger toys to play with. I brought my 2 yr old here and he had a blast. For adults there are some good puzzles and activities too.

I love this museum, but...Minus 1 star for non-working exhibits that have been non-working for quite awhileMinus 1 star for the lack of variety. It changes very little, so, as with other museums in the area, my kids got bored quickly and have little desire to return.Tons of potential and the 1st visit was mostly enjoyable (with the things that did work)

Best place in Grand Junction!I absolutely love this museum. It is really an unknown resource in the Grand Valley. From the exhibits, to the camps, to the movie nights and birthday parties, Eureka has the best to offer for families. More than I could have ever imagined! If you havent been, go and check out all they have to offer.

We visited Grand Juction and checked out the science center on a Thursday morning. I have never enjoyed a science center so much. We are world schoolers, so we hit a lot of science centers. So many hands on activities, interesting animals (like a chinchilla, tarantula & a giant crab. The staff was lovely. They would just walk around engaging with the kids and doing experiments with them. I highly recommend.

This was our first visit. We went for their summer camps parent meet & greet. It was raining and the parking situation honestly kind of sucked but as soon as we walked through the door none of that mattered any more. It made me wish I was back in school and could be going to one of the camps too! There are classrooms and hands on exploration stations and a gift shop and COFFEE!!!! several varieties of coffee/espresso at that. Im looking forward to taking the kiddo in when the time comes so I can do some more exploring

Also over run with summer camp kids with pretty rude counselors chaperoning them.
