Lots of parking. Clean facilities. Beautiful trails with A LOT of stairs. 3 stars because there isnt much beach area left. In all my years of coming here Ive never seen the water this high. As a result the hill to get to the water is precariously steep.

We have been going here for years. We absolutely love it. It is very secluded. Normally not extremely busy unless its the highlight of summer. It is quite a hike to get to the actual beach, but well worth it once you find a spot. The trails are nice. Picnic areas are great. The guards at the entrance are always polite and knowledgeable about the area.

Its a little tiny beach between 2 houses. The sign says no pets allowed but obviously someone ignored that big sign.

Not much of a beach at the moment. This is a great secluded beach with minimal parking. You may need to park on the road and walk. If the beach was normal (which it isnt anywhere in MI) this would be a GREAT spot.

Its a tiny strip of land. There is no beach left because of high water and erosion. There is little parking, and no stairs, no facilities, no trails. I have to assume that some of the other reviews were jokes.

Beach has capacity of 90. Quite small but clean. Private property on both sides.

I live down the street. All of the one star ratings are choosing beggars. Seriously, just go to the state beach if you don’t think there’s enough room for you and your progeny on Buchanan Beach.

So small Im not even sure its worth existing. Literally 100 with private beach for residence on either side.

Very small beautiful beach. Its an end of the road locals kind of beach and not much public space which is great for most days. Parking is just on the side of Buchanan as you come up to the end of the road. Its not too bad of a walk to the beach down but the way back up may give some a bit of a struggle. There is no boardwalk, no bathroom, just a little slice of pure Michigan bliss.

A very nice beach. Since the water rose, there is not much beach so you have to get there early. It gets very crowded very fast

Fine for swimming; nice sandy beach. But its only about 40 wide and has zero amenities.
