The Estrella Star Tower is located in a new development neighborhood and is technically a private park. It is a spiral staircase with a view from the top and there is a nearby plaque and an artificial river which flows by the tower. Not really that exciting and the view from the top isnt that great. Not worth the detour of a drive to go see.

Simple but beautiful!! Good place if you want little hike and have small children. Also not crowded with people, very enjoyable! I just wish it wasnt right next to a housing development.

Was very nice and pretty. They have nice views and amazing architecture. There was dirty socks on the very top of the tower and there was a couple participating in sexual activities in the parking lot. Other than that though it was great.

Beautiful little spot to relax and watch the sunset. There a peaceful waterfall and some room to explore!

Even though it was closed and under renovation, still a nice place to stop by for a minute to see the views. Hopefully up soon when I come back to the mainland. Mahalo

I went a little to late in the morning but didnt stay long enough for the sun to rise exclusively over the mountains. The roads were well maintained. The walk up the Star Tower was easily accessible, the stairs were not hard to go up. Nicely landscaped with freshly planted cactus, plants and other desert dwelling shrubs. Come on up and see for yourself!!

Such a pretty spot! Theres a couple nice little trails to walk besides the main star tower. Very quiet and a great look out of the city! Beautifully lit up and a nice place to clear your mind.

Today I Toke time to visit Estrella by Newland Communities....Cindy at the Welcome Center very helpful with detailed information about the community. Also, offering a map of the master plan of the growing community of Estrella by Newland.....Today viewed D.R. Horton model homes the salesperson Kevin was very helpful and the models homes were amazing...I also stopped by Pulte and Beazer homes which had models open as well. The homes start in the mid 200s .....and up....Which is very..appropriate considering the Mountains views are PRICELESS...

It was a small, neat place, but not much to see. The sign says its for residents, but nobody is monitoring it. Starting June 1st it closes at 7.

Where do I start with this beautiful national treasure, its little things like Estrella Star Tower that really make the desert wonderful and enhance its natural beauty. One of the most romantic walks for couples, short sweet and breathtaking. A truly unforgettable view from each step, all the way to the top of the tower. A must do if you live anywhere near Pheonix!

Such a great little monument here in Estrella Mountain. Always great to bring visitors to see the mountains, city and stars (at night).

Cant believe how much has changed in the past few years sinve ive gone here.. theres a whole new neighborhood! Anyways. .. always loved taking the kiddos and our blacklight flashlights out scorpion hunting on the trail and up star tower.. u would be surprised at all the scorpions hidden in the rocks and inches from horney teenagers who post up at the top of the tower!

Very popular place for photos! Scenery among the grounds and the beauty of the desert are picture perfect! Truly a gem in the valley!

The posted pictures say it all. Not a must see in my opinion. Too many other better places to watch the sunset and see the stars. They did do a nice job on the waterfall/landscape.

Beautiful and peaceful place, I imagine it is worth rating 5 stars at night when it is lit up.

At one time it was something unique, out of the ordinary. But now all the land surrounding it is being developed for new homes ruining the views and the ambiance. It’s is now nothing but a roadside attraction at best. Don’t waste your time.

Took my kids here just to check it out. Came well after dark, but still plenty of people coming and going. Amazing view from the tower. Plenty of people but you could still wander off and be by yourself. Think at night its more of a couples place

Romantic date or even a self healing experience by the power of the stars. An awesome time with calm and peace. Im in the construction field and had the pleasure of working on a new house development behind Star Tower. This might ruin the serenity but regardless everyone, far or near, should stop by.

Drove 25 mins to catch the sunset, and the car park was closed, full of construction equipment. No visible signs for alternative parking, so went home. Looks like a housing development in the process of spoiling this area. I would give zero stars if this allowed.

The water falls were closed and appear to be under repair. The tower is unique and as the sun goes down little lights appear that look a bit like stars.

AMAZING! Someone spent time planning this place out and it is spectacular. A must see if you enjoy star watching.

I like to come here at night. It offers a great view of the city and the stars. The man made water falls and stream give it a nice feel. There is a parking area. The cement paths make it wheelchair accessible, however the tower itself has a staircase.

I personally love this place its just simply amazing beautiful place to walk with a friend or a lover . it is under construction and will be reopened April 2019

Beautiful location but hasnt been taken care of. The water smells like dead decaying fish and there has been some damage to the tower itself from Im assuming stupid teens. They have also removed the beautiful desert landscape surrounding it in preparation for more homes? Sad to see the deterioration of such a gorgeous place

I love the star tower and the waterfall that is running through here. I cant get enough of the tower. Seeing the stars at night is amazing. I love going here and showing my friends that are just as curious.

Its beautiful. When my boyfriend and I are just driving around at night, its a great place to just stop by and go up. Great views, cute atmosphere.

This place is lovley. There is a parking spot nearby. Around the tower is a little river and some waterfalls. You have an awesome view from the top of the tower. I recommend a visit at night if the sky is clear - you can look at the stars like the natives thousands years ago.

Amazing little secret place. Hope it doesnt become a popular tourist place. Nice quiet, peaceful, not too many people when I was there in 2015.

There is some sort of construction (alot of earth movers) right up against the path and monument... it was disappointing... would be awsome to see at night, but its too bad they changed the hours to 7am to 7pm...

The tower is beautiful, but Im sometimes nervous to go at night. It seems like this is a popular place for younger kids to smoke weed. Beautiful in the daytime as well, however.
