We did the Red Maple Swamp Trail, 2.1 miles. Nice wooded walk, but expect roots and rocks along the way. A wooden walkway over the swamp was a great spot to hear many different bird and frog sounds. Not crowded at all, a nice peaceful walk.

Beautiful scenery, trails not marked as nicely as I hoped. Got turned around a few times but made the most of it.

Really nice walk! I agree with the other comments - could really benefit from more trail markings. I got a little turned around. Just make sure you take a picture of the trail map before you start!

Beautiful wandering trails up and over old granite, through the woods and amongst wetlands. A great family hike!

Please pick up any trash you see! There is a decent bit out there but if everyone grabs one or two pieces on their hike it would look nicer in a short while.

More challenging walking paths. Could benefit from a few more tail markers but is a good walk with the pups. A few streams to keep them cool.

Listed as the largest Greenbelt property I have only hiked the Sunset Mountain Gateway corner. If youre brave you can park on 133 near the interchange but I recommend the Mnt. Jacob Cemetery lot. The short but steep climb to Sunset Mountain offers immediate reward with tremendous panoramic vista. Dog friendly.
