We rented out one of the auditoriums for me and my guest to watch the new croods move. You can bring up to 20 ppl. I myself charged my guest 5 bucks per person so I didnt have to pay it by myself. It was nice. They were expecting us. It was clean. They had liquor for adults. And the manager came in to say hi and welcome us. Will be doing this again.

I am an A-Lister and like to try the different locations in Arizona. This particular theater has the regular screenings along with IMAX and Dolby Cinema. The IMAX theater has the regular old style, non-reclining seats. Similar to other AMC theaters. The Dolby Cinema was nice and clean. A bit small compared to other Dolby Cinemas Ive visited in the past. Visually pleasing. The chairs rumble. Sounds are superb. I did order food beforehand and took approximately 10 minutes from ordering to being ready. Wish it was a bit sooner. I am definitely going to visit again sometime in the future.

They did a great job with cleanliness. Only one ice machine working but easy to get to!There is a glitch somewhere and seats were sold only two away from us. That makes it way less than the 6 feet recommended.There are signs up and once the movie starts you ARE allowed to quietly move to another location that provides you the distance.Fun night out! We watched Tenant.

Fun time for a Free Preview, but was a little un nerving to have the covid mask police walking around in the theater enforcing the mask mandate when your already social distancing.

Very nice staff and safe atmosphere. Low stars right now because this theatre needs some love and guidance. The snack bar line was extremely long - only 2 employees and over 40 people in line. Womens bathroom very neglected and some stalls were broken. I would like to return and give it more stars next time, but not motivated to return anytime soon.

Lots of places you ready around it. The only drawback is avoid it on game days. The A list pass is awesome. I really hope this place doesnt close.

We rented the theater to watch the croods a new era. It was great!

Theyre being pretty good about keeping things clean. They have hand sanitizer and wipes all over the theater. I found those very handy.

Great experience!! Very simple and streamlined by paying-in-app, choosing seats, and pre ordering concessions. Easy new security procedures, sani-stations, and is mask enforced. :)

We’re in the middle of covid and the theatre just opened, and the seats and cup holders are FILTHY. There is absolutely no sanitation whatsoever. The disregard for sanitation is unbelievable.

The theatres were nice. The tickets are reasonably priced and you have the option of choosing your assigned seat, at the time of purchase. They offer several different formats such as IMAX, 3D, and regular view.There is a small bar, on the left hand side, near the front entrance. Theres a wide variety of food, snacks, and drinks at the concession. I felt that the drinks and food items are ridiculously priced but expected. You will pay nearly the same for 2 sodas and 1 popcorn as what you paid for 2 adult tickets.The womens restroom was orderly and clean. However, the designated family restroom was beyond nasty and trashed. I would NOT allowed my children to use, much less attempt in changing an infant.

The lobby and theater were clean and the employees were all very friendly. However, the ticket machine didnt work and it took forever to get someone to come over to sell us tickets. Then the popcorn was neither fresh, nor warm, unlike the soda the that was warm and very flat. Unfortunately, the soda fountain didnt dispense ice. The theater was empty aside from another couple, who, as I had half-jokingly predicted from the lobby, were in our less than comfortable, non-reclining seats. Thankfully when the movie started the picture and sound were both clear and the volume was at the perfect level, as was the room temperature until about 2/3 thru the movie when it became, and remained exceptionally warm to the point that makes people feel drowsy. It wasnt totally terrible, but it was the worst AMC movie experience Ive had but its still better than my best experience at some other theaters, and not enough to keep me from returning.

Fun environment good candy and popcorn, seats have not been updated -no recliners. Overall goodtimes!

We saw toy story 3d on a Monday night 10:30pm. We were the first ones in at 10:20 guess they didnt think it needed cleaning between films. Was a great movie anyway!

The building was clean, the video quality was very good. And Frozen 2 is a great movie. We didnt get snacks, but the ticket prices were not to bad. Its in Westgate area so theres plenty to do around if your early, or after if you want a walk. I would go again

Had the yell at some dude talking on the phone during the movie and trying to record movie. Other than that Jumanji was awesome cant wait to see if there is a 3rd. AMC is awesome the staff was polite and theater was practically empty.

Love going to the movies with the Family. We have been AMC Priemer members for 4 years now. We go at least 4 times a month and at all different times. My Bobby and I like going in the morning, while my oldest son likes going at night. We love the 3D movies in IMAX sound...Its really a good time and an awesome way to see a movie.

Saw Star Wars in the Dolby theater. Movie itself was ok but i really liked the theatre and the reclining seats! Snacks were fresh so was an overall great experience

This AMC still hasnt been remodelled, so it is full of the old style cramped stadium seating. Bleah. Not like the new remodelled AMCs that have power reclining leather chairs, and assigned seating. Concessions are OK, but MacGuffins closed way early, but luckily other options in the area, but not while you watch. Mostly clean, or as clean as any movie theater can be on Friday night. Sadly it is mid-2018, so lacking the new seats and assigned seating is inexcusable. Otherwise your typical 20 screen movie plex split into two stories. Would be nice 20 years ago, average 10 years ago, and is behind times these days.

We always enjoy our time here! Clean, comfortable seats. We are AMC Stubs A-List members and really enjoy the movies.

Love the fact you can prepay and have reserved seats! Using the AMC Stubbs card helps in saving money as well. Watching in the Dolby Digital theater is probably the best way to see a flick. Highly recommended!

Dolby cinema at AMC puts all theaters to shame! The sounds and visual Quality is amazing. The chairs are very comfortable as well. Now the regular AMC movie rooms need to be updated or at least cleaned.

Great location with lots of self-service kiosks. Drinks and food hideously over-priced (especially considering how they throw massive bags of popcorn away every night), so plan accordingly. The oldest movies get sent upstairs in small auditoriums (numbers 17 through 20) - which can be nice sometimes - but double check your number if youd like a full size screening. Still my AMC location of choice.

You would think this place would be packed since its at Westgate, but often there are very few people in the theater. Buy a large popcorn and go back for free refill. When you are choosing the time for your movie notice that the descriptions show what types of seats. If you are going for the recliners, find the showing with them. With little kids the regular chairs seem better.

The theater is great. The staff left something to be desired. They seemed more interested in socializing with each other than helping the guests. Its never appropriate to use profanity in front of customers even when talking to other staff. Rather give my money to AMC Arrowhead

The kiddo calls it The Big Movie Theater. Staff is super nice. They have a bar, and they have large selection of concession food. Theaters are clean and quite big. It is assigned seating. And they are now offering Sunday night football game viewings. Its in the middle of a gorgeous shopping center. Legit my favorite movie theater ever!

This is my favorite spot to be in on the weekends. Movie quality is great and the snacks are incredible. Free drink refills free Jalapenos free popcorn refills. Greatness!!!

Important notice to anyone getting tickets for their last showings of the night. They shut their kitchen early and unless you get there way before your showing you wont get hot food. This means no pizzas, hotdogs, pretzels, tenders, fries etc etc. Only soda, ice cream and popcorn.

So far two times I’ve been to this AMC and two times it wouldn’t let me sign into the WiFi and wouldn’t print a ticket at the kiosk

Very clean theater. Friendly staff. All the food is gourmet now. The candy comes in extra large packages for $4. So you can easily spend $15 pp on a snack and drink there. I guess its back to sneaking food in my purse again. I spent $30 on a Friday night movie. But it was one of J.Los best so I cant complain.

This Movie theater is the Best!!! I love the foods, the seats are comfy, If you want to see a movie I recommend this Theater.

AMC was good, but the parking around it is absolutely horrible specially for handicap. There must have been something going on at football stadium or some special event because it looked like 90% of the parking was closed, except if you wanted to pay $15 or $25, which is ludicrous. This is not the first time I have been to this area when there is not a special event taking place handicap parking is sorely lacking.

Super theater. Location is OUTSTANDING!!!! Perfect for a date night or girls night out! Great restaurants and shopping around. $5.00 Tuesdays are AWESOME!!!! My only complaint was no reclining chairs. Everything else was pretty great!

Its always gonna give u a good experience unless u choose a bad movie. Its overpriced, thats for sure, but you cant dislike it. Quality place to watch a movie and pretty clean

My husband and I went in at about 11 in the morning to go see the Avengers Endgame. I was not aware that when you went early in the morning the ticket prices were cheaper. So we ended up going to see a movie plus we got a big thing of popcorn and two drinks for about $30! This is definitely a deal! the woman at the ticket counter was awesome and the woman at the snack and drink area was amazing. Also another plus was that there was not that many people there going to see that movie at that time.

Clean place to watch movies, you can choose whether youd like regular theatre seating or the nice recliner ones. I like the idea of how you need to pick your seats in advance, saves a lot of headaches and stress. Theyll have deals on food once in a while, but food here is regular pricing. I must say their food selection and beverages do have the upper hand over other theatres. Just wish they would have popcorn flavoring!

Went to go see Uncut Gems, the movie was great and the seating was good since it was a Weekday. The only thing that was bad was the large popcorn we got. Once I got halfway done I tasted mold in my popcorn. I had th throw the rest out

Just watched the new Avengers: Endgame Big theater with assigned seating. Staff is about as quick as you can get for a movie theater. I like the assigned seats and have had no problems with the staff here. We like to make this one of our few theaters that we enjoy going to. Also unlimited drinks is pretty cool even though we only got the one refill.

Way over priced and very nasty lobby. Sticky floors and dirty bathrooms and it overflowing garbage cans. Plus the guy tearing your tickets was picking his nose right before he tore my ticket GROSS...

Love the theatre but four stars because only the Dolby theatre has recliners and if you go when there is an event you have to pay for event parking. The parking dude said I could get my money back from the AMC but I dont carry cash any more, so I had to bail on plans... Twice. Now I k ow if I am going to resort to this theatre instead of going further to my preferred Arrowhead location, I have to check the Westgate events. If anything is listed, assume the worst.

Great place. New chairs and nice staff. I applied to work here as a teen and denied the job but they always seem to be hiring.

Same prices but Arrowhead has the recliner seats. They only have one theatre with the recliners. Food was not good at all. The girl was nice but was the only one there.

Good reserved seats. Friendly staff. The Downside is the ridiculous amount of time you have to wait in line just to get snacks!! Snacks are pricey too. Seats are not recliners either. Theather is inside shopping mall. Friday night seemed real busy. Streets full of young adult groups and couples.

This was the most disgusting theater Ive been to. We came to see a new release and didnt expect to be seated in a tiny musty theater thats located upstairs. It is in desperate need of updating as you can see from the seat that was broken when one of my party sat on it, and this was a handicap seat which would have been very dangerous if a person with disabilities had sat on it. Every seat was gross and stained and I felt like I was going to get a disease just being in there. We were so uncomfortable that we left early. Also another lovely surprise was that the elevators were broken, we dont mind walking up stairs but two of us were wearing skirts so it was very uncomfortable walking all the way up there and back with glass cut outs on every other stair. Terrible experience. I have been to the Dolby theater which is more comfortable but its so dark who knows if the seats are as nasty as the ones upstairs

The Dolby cinema is nice. The temp got warm towards the end of the movie. The bathroom cleanliness had gone down hill. Overall, its not a bad place to eat h a movie. Plenty of places to eat around it.

Comfy seats. The small popcorn is huge! Way better than Harkins small. Drinks are those freestyle stations, which usually means you have to wait a while for a drink.

I love amc especially the self serve drinks unlimited refills of soda or icee.

Wish I could say it was a good experience, not sure if this particular theater is just understaffed but more attention to cleanliness could go a long way. The butter station near the soda machines was a disaster, every garbage can was overflowing with trash and bathrooms were very dirty. These sort of things could be avoided with routine maintenance. Also the line for the food court was ridiculously long, we got in line with 20 minutes to spare before the movie started and by the time we got to our seats we had missed half of the trailers. Like I said maybe just a problem with being understaffed which is understandable but it definitely needs attention.

AMC Westgate 20 was not very busy today, Wednesday, at the 4 pm hour when I bought a ticket for the Fathom Event of the 75th anniversary showing of Meet Me in St Louis. Thats ok, it was a workday; but not for this retired guy. The theater is open, clean and spacious. No lines at the ticket counters, food or drink areas. Restroom was clean and the automatic paper towel dispenser wasnt crazy! Popcorn was good, and the self serve soda machine gives you tons of drink choices. Ill check it out again on the weekend to see if its still a nice overall experience.

I am an A-lister because AMC is the best place to go for watching movies. I did 4 stars because my a-list ticket was not working and I showed the ticket guy my app and everything but it was not working. So needless to say I was late for my movie and missed some of the movie experience when I should not have. I still had to go get popcorn and a drink to be fair but that is part of the experience.

Pretty decent atmosphere. Food prices though... Wow. Not giod at all.

I see they are changing it up! I love the new inventions, having Varieties of Beverages is plus. Enjoying the Movies is a Must.

Theaters are very nice.Ample parking spaces.Minutes to 101 freeway.Good restaurants around.

I havent been to an AMC theater for a while because we usually go to Harkins. I was surprised at how long it took to get tickets because the lines were long and they only had computer kiosks.Getting snacks was even worse. We were told it would take 5 minutes after we paid (they didnt tell us that when we placed our order or we would have changed it) but it took closer to 15 minutes. We didnt get our order until after the movie start time. They only had one person prepping orders. They seem to be trying to get by with the fewest employees possible, and it shows in the horrible customer service.The seats were also not as good as Harkins. I will definitely not be going back to AMC.

I love that the seats are reserved. It is comfortable and there is plenty of room to relax in your seat. The theater and lobby are both clean and well maintained.

They need to invest in staffing. On a Saturday afternoon, only 2 people staffing the concessions with over 100 people in the line. Only 2 people staffing ticket line with over 50 in the line. Got in line 30 minutes before my movie was to start. It just started and Im still at least 10-15 minutes from the front of the line. Never have this problem at Harkins.

We are loyal members of amc and this theater was making everyone pay 15 dollars for parking due to a coyotes game so we parked really far then after arriving we purchased our tickets and we were about 18 mi. Early till our movie started and we were 2nd in line to purchase food like popcorn drink etc and there was only 1 employee working the concession register well when the managers finally came out and saw that now there was about 22 people in line to purchase food that they came out from the back stating that they were in a meeting and sorry for the inconvenience that now my movie was past the time and already started so forget about ordering any food that had to be prepared like chicken strips so we told the manager we wanted a refund and he didnt even offer any discount or sorries and refunded our money and we walked out we will never ever return to amc again they are the worst movie theater ever and I will let every one know aswell

So far very dirty ... loud ... and lo,gest line I have waited in you swear there giving things out for free long.. oh on top that so lady yelling if your not a premier member the line is other there .. hmmm maybe invest in a simple sign .. looks and sounds better to your guest then some one screaming...

I work here, but I enjoy talking to customers and getting to know who I can! Before I worked here, it was a nice place to go to, especially for the dolby theatre. I want to give anyone who comes the vest service possible.

Its a good place to go see a movie but I think they should change the seats to a more comfortable ones

The staff is always nice, but my complaint is the place is always very dirty. I understand that a lot of people come through here but still that is no excuse to keep popcorn on the floors, and in regards to the floors and the banisters they are always very very sticky from people eating and drinking sodas and spilling it on the floors. Please mop regularly. A lot of establishments use a dry wet mop to go over the floors. Other than that pretty decent experience

We enjoyed our experience.I love that they have options for people with allergies. I love all of the drink options.If I had a wish it would be for seats that recline a bit more.

Theater is pretty big and really well kept. It smells clean and the chairs are super comfortable and recline. Also have the options to get a beer if your over 21

Really nice place to take the family to watch a movie. But it seems like going to a movie is starting to feel like commercial flying. Check -in, seat assignments, priority lines? I travel a lot and am not really a fan of all the games. Just wanted to watch a movie.

Definitely not on the same scale as Harkins Fountains. .Theatre was not clean, no available parking, refreshment line was extremely slow. ..will not be returning. .

The theater is large and I like the assigned seating, but find it thrilling when I get to throw someone out of my seat that I have the ticket for! The lines are always short in the afternoon and the concession stands are quick to take my order so I can be on my way. The seats are comfortable and recline just enough to get even more comfortable when watching the movies. Now if there was a way to make people stop talking during the movie...that would be great!

Every time we go here there is always an issue. Why cant a parent give their teenager permission to see a horror film theyve already seen? Why does AMC Westgate think its fair to force parents into purchasing tickets to see a 2hr movie they dont want to see? Since when does a movie theatre feel they can parent other peoples kids? Ill never go here again and will be telling everyone about it. Do Nazis own the theatre? Besides, how many times has this place had bed bugs?!

I liked amc 20 cause Concession lines long but they were able to help you very quickly get your food for you and everything nice and pleasant workers there everybody was friendly

Beautiful theatre surroundings, bars, stores, Starbucks and a waterfall next to a lake with tables for socialising, a bridge and lighting for taking some great pictures

Lack of sticky floors is always a bonus in a movie theater. The staff was helpful, and the bartender at MacGuffins was super friendly.

It was so good the movie jumanji the next level the seats were soft movie quality was good and big screen!

AMC Westgate - employees are kind and friendly, but the facility could use some cleaning. Even so, great location with plenty of dinner fare close by. Went on a Friday and there was a live band playing when I came out of the theater. Nice!

The concessions are a JOKE they have 2 people working it. And when I came for a refill of popcorn they only had 1 at the register and the other was sweeping up the floor I asked if I had to wait back in line for the refill and the girl sweeping said yes so another 15 mins for my refill and they gave us burnt popcorn I hate this place no one is managing this outfit properly and I think management needs to be aware of the situation they have at this location.

Apparently, you are now required to butter your own popcorn!?!This makes only the first third of the container truly edible. (Yes, I ate the rest, anyway!)The theatre itself is quite impressive!Great sound in the IMAX.

If I could give a negative five for this place I would. This theater was so disgustingly dirty its not even funny. We went to the concession stand to get a drink and popcorn, the popcorn was cold. We turned around and went to get a soda and there was no ice in any of the machines. I finally was able to get a soda with some ice. The soda machine and the floors everything was a sticky gross mess. We went into our theater number for and there was food all over the floor, it said that they were cleaning the theater but there was no one in there cleaning it was ridiculous. I went to use the ladies restroom and three of the Stalls were out of order. This was the worst theater Ive ever been in.

The doby digital theater was awesome but service was bad and popcorn was stale

Had my first bad experience in many years here. If you have any problems at all this place will try to double charge you instead of give you a refund. Just take my advice and dont bother going here if anyone gives you any trouble. You wont get help to fix the problem and the mangers will have an attitude with you instead of being courteous and talking to you.
