We had a wonderful day with a group of friends. We wore our masks, enjoyed the views of the beautiful country of Watsonville Road, enjoyed their wine. The staff at Kirigin are so friendly and eager to help.

We loved the picnic we had today. With COVID, we havent been going anywhere, but this was perfect. No one was near us, and we were able to relax and enjoy wine and a picnic.

Nice winery. Decent wine at very reasonable prices. They have 10 acres that you can stroll on with picturesque views of vineyards and open spaces.

From what I could see, its a very lovely venue. The event I attended was completely outside. And the weather was fantastic for the archery tournament.

Beautiful winery with stunning flowers right now during spring season. I love the selection of wines, you can pick up to 6 to taste for free. Groups of 7 or more usually require a call in advance to make a reservation. They just repainted the main tasting room and it looks much brighter and I enjoy that room much more now. The staff is wonderful and friendly. This place is kid friendly and dog friendly and you can bring food to picnic outside in the patio area or out in the grass area if there is no events or weddings happening at that time. I highly recommend stopping by.

The DrinkI dont frequent vineyards or wineries that often, but it is a nice once in a while experience with friends. I got a chance to experience Kirigin Cellars, one of California’s oldest wineries. Between the few of us, we got two bottles to try, but unfortunately I forgot what they were . The first bottle was fairly light in taste, with more hint on the floral taste than alcohol. The second bottle had a more proper wine taste to it if you will, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Besides the two bottles for share, we also decided to buy some bottles individually. They had a special deal so we all decided to get a few bottles.- Kirigins Delight- Cabernet Sauvignon- Pinot Noir- Vino de MoccaThey have a good selection of wine available if you are looking for something new.The MiscellaneousThe vineyard itself was not difficult to find, and plenty of parking. (spare parking lot nearby) As you enter, you might notice quite the scenic field view in the distance. Especially during cooler spring or fall weather. During the current pandemic, only outdoor seating is available. But the winery is quite spacious with a nice outdoor picnic area. Kirigin Cellars have a good selection of wines to choose from at quite the reasonable price. They also offer promotions on top of that. Would recommend to pay a visit if you are looking to explore more wine.

Anytime Im wine tasting in the area, its a MUST stop for me. Pretty good wine selection on the tasting menu. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Have purchased a couple bottles from them, including their Syrah and Malbec and I love love love their dessert wine Vino De Mocca. Try to catch them on the day they are offering sundaes topped with the dessert wine! Amazing!

I visited this winery and was so impressed by the Vino de Mocca that I bought 4 bottles of it. Its the most delicious dinner wine you have. The staff was friendly and helpful we had a really good day trip. I will return.

Beautiful estate! They make wine out of their own grapes. I am a fan of sweet wines, and their champagne and especially their dessert wine are not to be missed! However, the thing that really keeps me coming back is the customer service especially Barbara!!! They really take care of you here. It is even better than $40 wine tasting experiences, and it is free!

We had such a lovely wine tasting experience! The tasting is complimentary and they had a great deal going on for 50% off a case of wine which you could mix and match. Barbara was our pourer and she was great! The wine was nice, especially the Vino De Mocca, that dessert wine was unlike any wine Ive tasted before. We would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Got married here in May and everything was great. If you’re looking for a great wedding venue I can recommend this place. The winery itself seems to be getting a bit too big for its britches. When we started coming here a few years ago service was great and all tastings were free. Now tastings are still free- unless you have a group of six or more. They charge $20. Service has gone downhill too. We tried to buy a sundae and only had a twenty dollar bill. We were told they couldn’t make change even though they had a stack of small bills right on the table. Beautiful spot and good wine. Just not quite the experience it used to be.

Pretty scenic place to chill out. Was out here on office party where the event included food, wine & champagne and sports activity like soccer, volleyball and cricket.

This place was fantastic. We unfortunately did not get to do the winery tour because you have to book that in advance, but from what we read and heard from other patrons, this was the better choice. There are no fees for tasting and you get 6 free tastings of any wines in their selections. That was immediately a bonus because other areas charge anywhere from $10 to $25 per tasting so this immediately warrants a 5 star rating.The staff was also amazing. We got in around 10:30 and the woman behind the counter started off helping us with selections and her go-tos. All of the reds were fantastic, I especially liked the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Their baby maker chocolate and orange desert wine was also something special. The Rosé was perfect as well.Lastly, their bottles ranged from $19.90 to $25.90, which is a steal in my opinion. Thats not even including the 30% discount you receive on 6 bottles or more. In all I would come back here in a heartbeat if I ever end up in California again.

Been an employee here for about a year (in the tasting room), as a side hustle. I really enjoy my work and all the patrons that come in to taste and buy wine. Our wine is really good, and priced reasonably and Im not just saying that because I work at Kirigin. Ive been wine tasting all over CA and really like the wine and the atmosphere of the tasting rooms.

Great wine sales. Great everyday wine. You can have this with Pizza and it just fits and wont break the budget. The winery is a good one for a local to be a member.

Tasting room is dark and dingy. Should be serving outside to enjoy the weather on a 82 degree day. Also, only 1 person assisting in tasting room. Thats not enough. You need 2 people at all time in order to address all customers in a timely manner including those coming in from patio to purchase bottles.

Went to a wedding in their event area. Beautiful! Nearly surrounded by hills. They make their own champagne & it was very good (light, crisp, not too dry, not too sweet).

We went in for a wine pickup and tasting yesterday. The rude lady behind the bar told us we would have to pay $20/person for tasting, since there were 7 people. 2 of us were not tasting, but we were told we would have to pay anyway,because we were taking up space! The manager was very unhelpful and unprofessional. We copped an attitude and didn’t even care when we canceled our membership. We have enjoyed many tastings here, but yesterday was our last time.

Ive been coming to Kirigin Cellars since I was a teenager. My Mom and Aunt had me carry cases of wine to their cars for them! Kirigin Cellars was the first winery that I tasted at, when I turned 21. My Parents and my Aunt and Uncle (the used to live down the road about a mile) brought me! We served Kirigin Champagne at our wedding, and wines during the wedding meal. 35 year tradition coming here!

Love this winery. The location and setting are lovely. Bring a picnic! We especially enjoy the white wines. Free tasting is a big plus in addition to a discount for purchasing a case.

This winery is near 100 years old and the property is really versatile, loads of green grass from bringing your dogs on nice sunny day to having your wedding here. Its deffintly a stop you wont regret & OH their wine is ALL GOOD but you got to try their VINO DE MOCHA!

Historic and new, a great combination of antique charm and new and improved spaces. Kirigin is known for their dessert wine, Vino di Mocca, made years ago by Mr. Kirigin for his wife, trying to make a wine that tasted like a White Russian cocktail. Great discounts on wine purchases!
