I love covered bridges. This one had a nice picnic area and a history of the bridge.
Very interesting bridge. There was a bird nesting in the roof truss and it was a relaxing calm place
There Used to be Trout, But not Since Covid-19
This bridge spans the Gunstock Brook just north of the village proper in Gilford. The bridge was constructed by Tim Andrews and presented to the community of Gilford by the Gilford Rotary Club in 1995. It was built to link the town hall with the rest of the town center. It is named for the tannery that once stood in the area.
I adore covered bridges so I make it a point to visit one if I hear theres one in the area. This cute little bridge is worth the ride. Its a foot bridge built in 1995, I dont know the history so I dont know if it was rebuilt in 95. It is number 68 on the covered bridge registry.
Cute little foot bridge with a stream flowing under it. Easy to find behind the fire station.
Well maintained small covered bridge in a nice location.
Beautiful spot
