Great little hike up to a beautiful view. The trail has neat informational signs along the way with facts about the surrounding environment and animal populations. Its not particularly long or difficult, but its perfect if you want to get out in nature a bit.

I hiked this in the ice as part of my redlining project for the Belknap Range mountains. There are better views of Lake Winnipesaukee from other mountains in the range but if youre looking for a quick hike up a trail and down its okay.

Great place for an easy hike with some incredible views.

This is the place I go to whenever I want to unwind and be in nature. It is a hidden gem next to the historic Kimball Castle (permanently closed to the public). The forest here gives a fairy tale-esque vibe. It is a moderate hike with some rocky areas but thats part of this locations charm. There is more than enough to explore and free look-out binoculars at the each of the vistas!

Its a nice little climb, short about 20 min, with a nice view at the top.. They also have ground mounted binoculars to observe the lake and surrounding area more closely, there are two ways up, and thus two ways down as well, there is usually a few people here at all times as it is an often climbed Area.

Great hike for a beginner or kids with two viewing spots. A few litt wildlife educational signs. There arent realy any ledges for kids to fall off of.

Nice hike with views of the lake from time to time. The binocular devices are cool for the kids (we found 2 of them). The trails can be a bit confusing, sometimes seeming to branch off and join back up. To save you some time, dont miss the Trail maps that are in a little box near where you drive into the lot. The start of the trail is actually more towards the lot entrance, not the other end which has a porter potty.

Pretty easy trail, well marked. Several look out spots. Recommended :)
