Great playground. Huge space to wander. Nice walking path. Has a disc golf course, Baseball diamond and Mini golf. Has three parking lots, bathrooms and pavilion.

A lovely spot to meet up with friends, play some miniature golf, or throw a frisbee.

Wheeler Park is a beautiful park full of gently rolling hills and mature trees. The disc golf course is one of my favorites. The mini golf is another fun attraction.

If you like being outdoors and like space themes, this is the place for you and your family. Dog Friendly park, lots of open grass, bike trail, tennis courts and even had a really nice Mini Golf park.

Great disc golf course. Tee pads and course is well maintained. They have added woodchip to some of the pathways. And there is a washroom at the park. Plenty of paved parking as well.

The disc golf course is one of my favorites around.Great mix of open field and forest shots. The park is very well maintained including the mini golf course ( Ive never played but use the concession stand). It has competitions but Im not sure where you can find that info. Probably the park district site or a disc golf site. Only downside is it can get crowded on really nice days.

Awesome community park all around. Large playground with a space theme, something for all ages to play on. Nice restrooms right by playground. Miniature golf course, as well as areas for tennis, soccer, and baseball. It also has one of the best disc golf courses around. It has a full 18 hole course with plenty of variety. Not a ton of growth to lose your disc in. There is a practice basket set up so you can get a few shots in before going on the course. Discs can be rented from the shop by the parking lot, the shop also sell snacks. Definitely a must stop location.

Rolling hills paved trail, disc golf course, miniature golf, tennis, and a wonderful kids playground. Me and my 3 yr old really enjoy coming here. The kids play nice as well and take turns pretty well. (Good job parents.) As a bonus the trails here link up to the Fox River trails.

This park is pretty nice. I came today for the disc golf course. The course is pretty nice with mostly open holes. There are few that challenge your skills but overall a relaxed and enjoyable course for any level player.They also have a nice playground, a mini golf course and lots of trails. It is a nice park.

My boys love this place. You have paved paths to walk on, two different play structures, and lots of shade for those hot days.

Wheeler park has a great disc golf course. It’s a really nice setting in both some forest areas and open air setting. I highly recommend this course. It’s also a great place to walk the dog or go for a jog.

Serene seeing. A few benches angled for optimal view of the river. Lovely marsh and park area for viewing, also. The path can get busy on weekends in the summer but everyone is nice :)

Quite possibly the best disc golf course in all of Illinois. Grounds are well maintained with park benches strewn about. Can be a bit muddy in spots after a heavy rain, but the park is near perfect otherwise.

Wheeler park is perfect for kids of all ages and they have a bathroom.

So much space to walk around! Really enjoyed taking my kids to this park. It feels safe and the grounds are well kept. The only thing to watch out for are the frisbee golf players!

This is one of the best Disc Golf Courses I have played in the area. Its a very nice 18 hole course that is well maintained. There is no water so the only place to lose discs is in the woods. Some of the holes are a little hard to find your first time there but after a game or two they are easy to remember. Ive heard you can rent or buy discs from the mini golf place there but Ive never gone there.

My children love the new playground that was built in 2015 which has a space theme to it. I personally like the disc golf course, not because it is very technical or that great, but that it is there and close to where I live. The park itself is beautiful and has a lot to offer.

A great place for everyone of all ages! Clean plenty of parking and they have many things to do! My personal favorite is the Disc Golf Course, theres also a mini golf course, a brand new playground, a walking path and tennis courts. Busy on the weekend but thats to be expected.
