This was a fabulous place to spend the afternoon! There are three wineries and a brewery, plus a cafe. We spent three hours and could have spent longer. Great atmosphere. There is something for everyone. We aren’t huge wine fans, but enjoyed trying them. We loved the brewery where I had ciders and my husband had beers. Plus my husband got a free beer and glass to take home for being a veteran.
Its always a fun place to visit with so much memorabilia on the grounds and five shops. I always leave with at least a case of wines and you can also dine on the grounds, although its a bit pricey.... The only other winery I enjoyed more than 3 Bros. was Bully Hill when Walter Taylor was alive and partying there. One bar would have people, 5 deep, singing and enjoying the quips of their host. The fun is gone with Walt.....
Great ambiance but 90% of the wines were way too sweet — including the ones marked “dry.” There’s three different wineries on-site with distinctly different ambiance’s, which is cool. Stony Lonesome was the one concept with wine we sort of liked, but while sitting on the patio the crew was using an impact driver to hang wind barriers. It was too loud to have a conversation and we watched a couple groups get up and leave before being served because of it. In general, it felt like a cattle call as opposed to true tastings at each location because you were on your own once served and no one even stopped by to see how things were. We really wanted to like this winery because of all the reviews but it was a total letdown.
Three Brothers is such a fun place! So many choices for your taste all on one property. Our friends and ourselves have been here many times and always had a great time. Clean, fun and staff is always helpful. Not to mention the beautiful scenery, especially in the fall! We just went a few weeks ago. Highly recommended!
We had a fabulous experience at Three Brothers. We had been nervous about possible crowds, knowing how popular and fun the location is. They did an AMAZING job of managing customers and service so that you could relax and have fun while keeping your distance from other groups. We were able to relax and enjoy the experience and without being nervous at all. The gift shops are pared down a bit to make space, which is understandable, but the wine slushies are still delicious as always!!!
Enjoyed our 50th birthday hanging out at Three Brothers Wineries on Sunday. Everybody was social distancing wearing masks when appropriate. Everything was running smoothly. Reservations were required it was not overcrowded.
Went to Three Brothers for the first time over the weekend and had a wonderful time. We did the $40 tasting option which includes tasting at all three wineries and the brewery. We loved the variety of wines available and the different styles/decor of each winery. Everything is conveniently located within a few steps of each other. The food was good too! Would highly recommend :)
If you’re looking to go to Seneca Lake and had to choose only one place to go, Three Brothers is it.My girlfriends and I did not make a reservation, however, we were a small group of three and it was a Monday. If you’re a larger group or choose to come on a weekend, a reservation is highly recommended/required.This place has 4 tasting rooms available and they do not disappoint. Each place has their own vibe and drink menu. There are three wineries and one brewery. Hungry? They also have a cafe (DELICIOUS) in addition to the crackers they have at each stop!I have been here several times over the years and I always have a great time, thank you! Also, I’d like to personally thank some great bartenders my friends and I had yesterday. So thanks to Alec, Cam, Ian, and Bragon. We will be back!
This was not a usual wine tasting visit... this was an EXPERIENCE! The quick summary is that there are FOUR tasting buildings, each with their own fun décor, theme, and delicious liquids. From the moment of check-in, it was evident that all employees were motivated to engage their customers in a friendly and fun manner... customer service and satisfaction were guaranteed at every step from asking questions about where to start, what sequence to follow, what to expect... EVERYONE WAS OVER THE TOP AWESOME! Any questions, any requests... ask ANY employee!Every guest gets a thorough, festively written guide book describing all the sites, beverages, alcohol content, sugar content, etc. to take home, along with your own personal notes, rankings, stars, thumbs up/down... we did 0-10 rankings with personal notes. For the wine connoisseurs, there is a very wide pallet of offerings from dry to sweet to bubbly to frozen. We tried most of them and everyone found several that delighted each of our different tastes.Oh my, did you not expect to also have an extraordinary fun time tasting ciders and beer? We had several Im not so sure comments, turn to OMG... this is really, really good... amazing!Yeah... I could tell you MY favorites, but they may not match your choices. Just in our group of four people, we found favorites up and down the menu. And we all honestly and privately ranked our own selections before sharing our thoughts with each other... many items were similarly ranked, but several were diverse, matching personal preferences. If youre reading about upstate NY wine, beer, and cider venues... This is the Disney World experience of wine, beer, and cider tasting... superb!Check it out for yourself and whoever youd like to impress and share it with. I brought three guests and everyone was thrilled! I will be bringing many more.As we were ready to leave and wanted to purchase our favorites, the retail staff were speedy to help grab what we wanted and we all left with our arms full, and big smiles!I highly recommend you set aside two to three hours (if you are getting some food as well) for a really fun, relaxing visit!
The atmosphere was great, even with COVID rules in place. Food was good and not a long wait. The only turnoff was the attitude of the hostess at the cafe.**I appreciate the responsiveness of the owners!**
Had a great time. The wines are excellent. Staff was very pleasant and personable. It was a good day trip for me and my daughter before I move to Florida.
This was our first stop per recommendations of multiple people before we left and upon arrival in Geneva. I have to admit, I am not a wine person but I wanted to really try to be on this given day. I actually found a few that were drinkable! The Passport is a must as it allows you to try a little bit of everything they have to offer. My wife and I shared a passport, but I would recommend your own after completing the process. I feel like they had flavors for everyone!
My favorite winery in the area!! They responded quickly and well to the COVID-19 pandemic and have been keeping up with the latest policies to make sure everyone stays safe. I’ve been coming at least once a month for a wine slushie and now that they’re more fully reopen (with easy to follow restrictions), I love being able to relax and have a tasting!! Great environment, great wine, beer AND cider and some amazing food as well! Highly recommend making reservations and doing the full 4 tastings. It’s a lot of fun and make sure you get a slushie to take with you, they’re the best I’ve had and the reusable tumblers are always really cute! Can’t wait to go back again.
Had a great time...no stress, no crowds, no pressure. Spent a very relaxing three hours and the four wineries/brewery. The staff was very attentive and the guy at War Horse was so nice!
Even with Covid going on. Everyone and everything was amazing! 3 of us were new to Three Brothers and they loved it! Thank you again!
We had a very nice time. Its the type of place you can spend all day enjoying. The wine and cider was excellent. My girlfriends and I shared the cheese and charcuterie boards; both were delicious. The only complaint we had was the bathrooms could have been serviced more frequently throughout the day. Definitely worth a visit!
Worst winery in all of Cayuga and Seneca, only good thing was the photos. Locals called it the six flags of wineries, aka has all the rides and attractions but no real good wine. The red wines were young flat grapes that failed to produce any warmth or body. The roses and all there sweet wines were like perfume or so much artificial flavoring has been mixed into alcohol and called wine. Had to ask for a dump cup for most of them, which they felt very insulted for us asking. The Bagg dare wine tasting room was almost decent but to call any of the tastings wine would be an insult to all wine. The ciders here are like apple juice mixed with alcohol. Overall avoid this place unless you want a photo but do not come for the wine or the staff here.
What a wonderful day spent with wonderful friends. 3 brothers was amazing. It had been years since I was there last. The updates to tasting rooms was superb. Thank you so much!
It was an awesome place. I loved that there were 3 wineries and a brew house all within the location. If you like sweet wines you’ll love this winery. Although they also have a dry winery. I will totally go back on our next trip to the Finger Lakes.
Cant say enough good things about our experience! Alec and Dan were excellent flight attendants. Very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Cam, Cody and John helped me pick out some great gifts for my husband as well. I will definitely be back!
Wow what a place, best one we have been, very organized, lots to do, great wine, great beer, great cider. This is a must stop. You can spend a day here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great day especially in a time where we all could use one!
Definitely something for everyone! We love coming here so much that our trip this past weekend we visited twice! While COVID restrictions made this trip slightly different we felt safe and very comfortable and really enjoyed our time at Three Brothers. Our group all has very different tastes and each one of us were able to find multiple beers and wines to enjoy! We will definitely being seeing you again very soon!
Love love 3rd time repeat client. Kids have fun with the sodas and play as they are doing their own wine (sodas) tasting. Family fun location.
We visited Three Brothers the second weekend open during NY State’s reopening and were super impressed with the organization and cleanliness. Each of the 4 “stops” had a designated check in and tasting flights to choose from. We never felt crowded and enjoyed the buzz of the winery. I wish we had more time to talk to the servers about the wines as we would in a normal tasting but we respect how busy they were and beyond that it was a great experience.
We did the full tour - all 3 wineries and the brewery. Definitely worth the $! Fun atmosphere and really cool experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly - always willing to answer questions and make suggestions. Large variety of wine/beer choices. Something for everyone!
Me and my boyfriend visited War Horse Brewery which is part of Three Brothers Wineries. The location is really nice and created a great atmosphere. We got lunch from the Iron Heart Coffee Company which was delicious. We were super pleased that they had a vegan option since it can be hard to find upstate. We both got the flagship flight. While the beer was good, it wasnt either of our favorite. All the beers were pretty light and good for summer, but we probably wouldnt buy it from a store. All of the staff were nice and helpful. We also got some wine from the winery, but we havent gotten to try it yet. I will update this review once we do.Overall, this is a great place to stop into for lunch. If you like a lighter beer then this place is definitely for you. I would come again, but next time I would try their ciders or wines.
Being from Long Island where we have so many wineries, Ive never experienced a winery quite like Three Brothers, the place is simply amazing. Between the different wineries within the place and the restaurant and brewery, its has everything you could ever want and you feel like there is no need to go else where. The wine selections were terrific and the vineyard views are simply majestic. A MUST go place when visiting the Finger Lakes area.
This was the best winery experience we have had to date. There are 4 separate wineries (one is a distillery) on property so you can get 4 tastings at one location. The decor is awesome, the people were great, and we found some great wines and hard ciders. Couldn’t recommend more!
Our group of six hit 3 Brothers after a full day on the Eastern shore of Lake Seneca. All of us felt the themes of each winery and the brewery were spot on and we especially liked the merchandise at War Horse (the brewery). We did not feel we needed 2 hours, we would say 1 or 1.5 hrs is sufficient. We wish we enjoyed more of the tastings, but out of 20, only 4 were a hit with our group. Still, we would say go for the views and the decor!
Great winery with largest variety of wines in one location Ive ever been to. Very cool tasting flight set up with test tubes rather than plastic cups at the 2 locations. Wine slushie was surprisingly amazing. Definite recommending to friends and coming back soon
This was not our first visit to Three Brothers; it is one of our favorites! I brought my 40th class reunion group here a few years ago, and brought a group of local volunteers and veterans up for the weekend on 11/7/20. They are expert at handling groups, their wines are incredible, and the brewery rounds out their offerings to include something for the non-alcoholic guests in your group. The Ciders and Slushys were a big hit with those guests in particular. They truly have something to offer everyone. Once again, a wonderful time was had by all. Thank youagain Three Brothers for making our trip such a success.
Such a cool place to kick back and relax. The place is very big with a lot of different things to try. I enjoyed sitting outside in the vineyards. Their Bone Spirits wine is also amazing. This was definitely one of my favorite places!
First time visiting Three brothers Wineries this past weekend & we couldnt have love it more! The estate is beautiful and everyone there was so pleasant and nice. Our experience was amazing and we cannot wait to come back and visit again
Had a blast. Just a great setting. The staff very friendly. Food was delicious. Wine slushie was fan favorite of the women in our party of 8. The guys were happy hanging at Warhorse.
A group of 4 of us came to visit and had an amazing time. The whole staff was very welcoming and friendly, as well as knowledgeable on the wines they were servingGreat atmosphere, can’t wait to go back again!
I took my daughter here for her 21st birthday. She, her sister and her fiance loved it. I was the DD and dont like wine but I still tasted everything and had a great time. It was our first time doing a wine tour, except for my older daughter who has been here 3 times now and says Its the place to go :)
The people are very nice. The price wasnt bad. We had a great time and are dinner there. Great food!!
Love the way 3 Brothers is handling Covid 19 regulations. I actually prefer this tasting style. Last year we had a great time but it felt a bit rushed as we stood at the bar and were served with several other groups at the same time. This year we picked what we wanted to try and it was brought to us at our table, so much more relaxed and just overall a better experience. Loved every minute and the Wine Slushies are AMAZING!!!!
My husband and I included this in our itinerary for a 5 day trip and this was by far our favorite winery of about 8 we went to while in the Geneva area! The wines were okay-but what really stood out was the excellent service and uniqueness of the different buildings/experiences. It was so much fun going from one different environment and tasting experience to another! I described it to my husband as feeling like Disney for adults. The attention to detail in each of the areas was amazing and we could have easily spent the whole day just here if we’d had more time. This should be on everyone’s list if you’re staying in the area or planning a trip-honestly, it’s worth a drive just for the day! Thank you for a great time, one of our favorite parts of our Geneva trip was Three Brothers!
What a wonderful place to enjoy several hours! We had no idea till we called to make reservations that there were 3 wineries and a brewery here. The staff we encountered in several places were extremely helpful and friendly. After tasting at one winery we were pleased to be able to get a soda flight with our beer flight at the brewery. We definitely plan to return the next time were in the area!
I took my daughters and daughter in law for an outing this past Sunday and thought it would be fun to visit Three Brothers. I had been there in the past and although I had anticipated the experience to be different with Covid-19, I was disappointed with the 5 tastings(and a small bag of crackers) for $15/each. I knew this upfront, but did not have anything to compare pricing to until we visited another winery down the road. For $12/each we received 6 tastings and a bag filled with a bottle of water, salsa and crackers as well as a sample of fudge. I felt this was a better value.
Very nice and welcoming environment. All staff were kind and courteous. Not a fan of the beer and ciders but the set up was very nice. The wine tasting at 3 brothers is good for any occasion️
The place is def one of a kind. Family and I had a great time. Just a buzzkill from one of the ladies at one of the estates where the gift shop is. She told us to move because we weren’t 6 ft apart from the other group, which was totally fine. We were going to go outside, but noticed that the one side had NO ONE around. We moved there, but the ladies were giving us the death stares. They were talking, and staring at us like we weren’t welcomed. Was not a pleasant experience and kinda ruined the vibe.We know the COVID situation is not the best, and it could be stressful with all the new rules. We know.I’m an ER nurse, and my friend with me is an ICU nurse. We were one of the hospitals that was hit the earliest and the hardest. Worked and still working from the beginning and the current status of this pandemic. It would’ve been nice to end the wine tasting tour with a better attitude.
I have been to three brothers a few times before. I have been before covid. I wanted to bring my sister there for her first time. Honestly I think the sitting down option makes the place more homey and comfortable instead of standing around the bars. Everyone was great and friendly. I can’t wait to go again!
No words! This was my favorite Winery by far! We could of definitely spent way more time then we did. Such a variety. The staff was great. Would definitely visit again and again
Had a great time! 4 of us split two of the $40 reserved tastings....each couple got a flight to share in 4 different areas. It worked out great, the atmosphere was fun, and plenty of places to sit and relax. Will definitely be back!
We came with a group and had an overall fun time. Some of the wines were serious, Some were fun, The brewery was awesome. We highly recommend it.The wine slushy’s were amazing. We spent about three hours there. The staff was very gracious and they seem genuinely happy to be working there
3 different wineries & a brewery all on one compound. Great cafe menu too!! extremely friendly and informative staff members
How much fun is this winery!! Sooooo much fun!! Super friendly staff. Excellent wine (there is something for everyone here....including beer) and food. And the atmosphere is amazing! Cannot wait to come back with our kids (young adults) ....they will LOVE it!!
Three Brothers is a great place to spend the afternoon sampling the many wines and beers they had to offer. The staff is well trained, knowledgeable and very helpful. We had a fantastic time and we highly recommend it.
What an experience with several different buildings to visit. Staff was amazing and helpful. They know their wines and make perfect suggestions. The grounds are clean and beautiful with many places for pictures. Im not a big wine drinker and left with 5 bottles. Highly recommend! (Make a reservation)
We had a great time here. The staff was very friendly and the beers at War Horse were excellent. We will definitely return and schedule more time to hang out and enjoy the property.
This place feels like more of a gimmicky novelty compared to other wineries around the lake. Nothing stood out to me as something I needed to buy to have more of, but nothing was bad either. It is a good way to spend some time with a group of people if you need to fill an afternoon.
Everything was very beautiful! They were set up very well for Covid protocol, there was a lot of people there but there is plenty of space to spread out. The only thing I would change is have a map you can scan onto your phone because I didn’t think the one winery was going to be through the store. There is a sign for it but only on the door and next to it, not on the roof. We eventually found it and all was well, the tastings could continue!
Beautiful property! All the wineries were great, beer was fantastic, wine and cider slushees were amazing! I was even able to get my daily coffee at the cafe on site! We will absolutely return! Great staff, great products!
Top notch.. staff and facility amazing. Had a very relaxing leisure day with friends. Food was great. One of favorite places.. Wine Carnival.
This was our second visit. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing. The tasting my husband did was great. Usually, they have a great little gift shop that was not there this past visit but it may be because we are in the middle of COVID.
We probably liked just a few of the wines that were on the tasting flights. A lot of them tasted pretty oxidized. I don’t really understand the hype around it . Maybe we came on an off day. The chocolate truffles are amazing though.
I highly recommend checking out this winery. The three wineries and one brewery were all very nice and each one has a completely different vibe. My fiancé and I really enjoyed visiting all four stops.
We wanted to take a weekend get away with another couple. We chose to go to three brothers and it was my first experience with a winery ever. It was beyond beautiful, fun, very professional and sanitary. I def will be going back. My favorite was the Bagg.
Lovely service and beautiful property. Very well L organized and good safety measures for COVID. Amazingly tasty wines, beers, and cider. Just wish the samples were more generous and closer to a serving of wine, otherwise everything else was perfect.
Always a fun time at 3 brothers! Especially loved all the ciders. Alec was wonderful and made our tasting so much fun!
Always beautiful in Geneva! All the staff at Three Brothers is always very sweet and also educational on there wine! I try to get out there as much as possible.
My husband and I have visited a few years ago but this weekend we brought our friends. They loved it. Everyone working there was very pleasant and helpful. We are already planning our next trip.
We had such a nice day! Wine was delicious, brewery was awesome! Good was delicious! We stocked up before we left! Couldn’t ask for a better day!
Great place and experience. We spent about 3 hrs walking around and enjoying the facility and wine. Lunch was great as well. Highly recommended
It was definitely different with the reserved seating, a more personal experience that took away from the common community feeling that was usual precovid. I preferred the precovid winery experience, understanding this is the new way of doing things. I had free passes from a prior purchase offer, so we did not have to spend $40 per person for tasting. The cost of $40 per person is very steep for the same tastings, nothing additional to offset such a cost. We love three brothers and staff at all wineries except stony lonesomel where we found server aloof to us. We did not eat due to dinner plans already made, but liked the new menu, smells of the food and our willpower to not ruin dinner. Thanks for a fun experience, hope to participate in the 5k next year post covid ready!
Great experience. You get a lot for only $40. The staff are extremely friendly. It’s a nice place to go for a girls day out
We had an enjoyable day at Three Brothers Winery. The wine, beer and cider was amazing and there was something for everyone’s taste. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions. We ate at the cafe before returning home and there was a great selection. We left with a case of wine, 2 beers and cider. The tour was well organized and the guide books were a nice touch to remember and record the tastings. We look forward to returning toThree Brothers the next time we are in the Finger Lakes!
Extremely fun and enjoyable. Staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. Cafe food was excellent
Very difficult to get a reservation, but after we finally were able to make them, we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the wine, beer and cider. It has changed a lot due to covid, however they did a wonderful job.
This was our second time here. We will definitely go back. We love the different wineries on site!
We did the full tour and were thrilled! Each area was clean, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and of course the wines were terrific! We would highly recommend Three Brothers Winery as a MUST on your wine trail agenda!!
Three brothers has always been my favorite. Great Service and great wine. This time when I came brought people who have never been there and we all had a awesome time Thanks for having us.
We love Three Brothers! We go twice a year and they never disappoint! Great atmosphere, beautiful views, and the staff are great!
We had such a great time trying all the wine. We really enjoyed the Cider.Everyone was friendly and everything was very clean.
We had a absolute blast!! The staff could not have been better to us!! Especially alana, who went out of her way to make sure my wife whos birthday it was, was completely happy. We go there all the time and will continue to do so. The staff is one of the main reasons!! Thanks for the great time and great memories. See you soon!!
I recently went here as part of a girls’ trip. It was definitely one of my favorite places for tastings. A great variety, the atmosphere was amazing and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend making a stop here!
Great place to visit! Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable! Had tastings at all 4 buildings. I enjoy beer and dry wine so wasn’t sure how the semi sweet and sweet wines would be but much to my surprise I found them to be tasty chilled on a hot summer day! Food at café also hit the spot. Enjoyed a nice burger with salad.
This was a great experience. Alec was an amazing server and gave us great information about dinner spots in the area.
My friend and I went here on a beautiful November day. We had a great experience thanks to the helpful employees!
Had a great time, everyone there was pleasant and helpful. We just loved it there
The staff offers an amazing experience. Even with all the restrictions in place, we had a great time. We look forward to our next visit.
One winery. 4 experiences with the 3 separate wineries and the brewery. Throw in a coffee house and cafe. What I thought was going to be maybe a half hour to an hour of a tasting wound up being 3 hours of fun. Bagg Dare was my absolute favorite, but Id take a slushie or a hard cider any day. What a great place!
Three Brothers is one of our favorite wineries! There is something for everyone here. I highly recommend a stop here.
Friendly service with a great atmosphere! The tastings were so much fun. They have great food as well!
My sisters and I went down for a quick day trip. We made a reservation and got right in to sample. We had a great time, really enjoyed the wine, and brought some home to continue the party
This is a very cool place where you can spend an entire day. They have a brewery and three wineries. However, one of the wineries features normal wines, another mostly sweet and the last has sparkling/sweet stuff. There are definitely a lot of different flavors to try. The land and architecture are superb, as are most of the wineries around the lake. During our covid-19 visit, we met an amazingly pleasant staff. Everyone was extremely nice and they made sure to put the no-mask wearers in their place. I would definitely visit this place again.
Three Brothers Winery is doing a fantastic job of creating a safe environment for visitors - plenty of spacing, excellent customer service, and same amazing wines, beers and ciders! Always a fun day!
Lovely experience between the multiple dwellings on the property. Definitely intend on returning!
The winery was so incredibly fun! So many options (and all of them delicious). Extremely friendly staff. Would love to go again!
My partner and I went with our 4 children and one of their spouses (all age 23-30). Three Brothers was a mixed experience. It was really well organized and fun (e.g., test tubes for tasting in Passion). However, the wine and beer was all unexciting. A few were good, none were great, and some were totally bland and insipid. So, if you are going for a party and want a fun place, this will likely fit well. If you want to taste really nice wine and beer, look elsewhere. And kudos again for the level of organization - everything went really smoothly.
We had a wonderful wine tasting experience! The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Cam(Hes the Best). Its like an adult Disney for wine drinkers. We are already planning another tasting next year.
We did the tasting tour and absolutely loved the experience. The choices for flights were great and each table was provided with descriptions of each tasting. The staff were fun and helpful and made the experience that much better. Theres something here for everyone!
This was by far the most fun stop we had on our wine tour. You get to try 3 very differently themed wineries and a brewery. The theming here made this so much fun. The wines are good but not amazing. But they make up for it with service, theming, and prices. My husband and I spent about 3 hours here. You can bring your own food or snacks to sit outside. Definitely a crowd pleaser.
