Despite it being next to a big street, its a pretty good park - nice in size and decent amount of amenities. That being said, there are a couple of homeless that hang around the park, especially at night. But they generally dont bother anyone.Has a tennis court, handball court, basketball court and a public pool where you can take swimming lessons in the summer.
I give her A plus 5.. 4 when shes naughty . 3 stars when she is no fun
This is a great grabbing gathering place. Theyve got a couple of low-impact workout machines, a racquetball court which is always populated with the local badass raketball crews. Also, there are 4 tennis courts and most of the locals like to play in the warm glow of the nightlights. Evenings are nice and cool during the summer. Minneapolis recreation until the park closes I would recommend this destination to anyone who wants to enjoy a full service park and all if its amenities.
Great to visit with old friends u havent seen in 25 yrs
Small park. Good amenities..
COVID closed, but parking lot shade trees cool vulnerable seniors isolating in air conditioned cars watching movies on iphones.
My favorite park on the weekends nice trees and benches and shade.
Hood to find Sobriety Friendship
This park has clean restrooms and running water with paper towels its a whole lot better now than it was just a month ago I give it a 10 by the way this park has paper towels when you wash your hands and most other parts dont you might consider that
Its the only place where you can still go to N/A meetings daily during covid19. I suggest if you need help to show up daily at noon!
Oh this place!I have been seeing Google ask me to review this park so many times now.. I keep forgetting which park this is. So, I enter on Magnolia street, there is a one way parking lot right near the community services building and water department building.Beyond that parking lot is a pretty grassy expanse that kinda rolls into a valley and back up again to a wall of I assume houses beyond. There are three trees in the valley part, I like to sit between them and meditate. But, I think many others like that spot as well, because there is almost always a party there. To the left of the grassy patch is a childrens playground with swings and such. I happen to enjoy a swing every so often.Just a bit further is a baseball diamond. I havent wayched the games, but I have noticed weekends are pretty full there with games going on.
Good for practice tennis and jogging.
The 2 tennis courts need to be resurfaced and the wooden benches are not in good shape, but itll do in a pinch.
Was good work out equipment handball and tennis courts plus nice open grass area.
Its just too small with poor parking
My kids place baseball there
Good people and people are nice
Clean park and nice scenery
Nice park with a ton of activities.
Shady park.... Watch your kids closely. The park could be better maintained. Has a couple of tennis courts, three squash wall, adult exercise machine out in the open, basketball courts, a small kids playground and swings out in the open, grass area...This park could easily be a 5 star park if the city is paying more attention and ensures everything is clean and prevent shady people from squatting.
My friend brought her dog and we all ran around like crazy its a good place to hang out
The sign at the tennis courts asks you not to smoke within 25 feet of the court. Unfortunately, if you are down wind, you cant help ingest the marajuana. The homeless people that make the shaded area under the trees their home do not give me a positive vibe. Lucky for me, I am a strong 50 year old Male that practices tennis with my teen aged daughter so I can take care of her and myself. I would not recommend this park for a single mom.
I hit tennis here on weekend afternoons. The courts are pretty decent. Its nothing fancy, but a courts a court. I tried going in the morning, but a bunch of vietnamese people hog the court; same at night.Theres usually a small party by the grill, but I havent seen anyone really loud obnoxious party. Theres also a group that plays handball on the tennis walls. It smells like someone peed there, but that doesnt stop them. Oh yea, theres a mini gym section.Theres a playground as well, with blue cushion rather than sand, but I wouldnt bring kids here. Around a quarter of the time Im there, theres someone smoking weed. Probably a 3 star park, but I knocked down a star for that.
Very small playground with graffiti.
I go here every so often and its a very quiet and lovely park with many things to occupy your time with.
Beware of crazy people
Comfortable, pulled in to complete a few emails and texts.
Tennis courts are okay but really need to be resurfaced and cleaned up. The fencing also needs to be redone; I’ve been cut by the fencing before.
Nothing wrong with homeless people at all and you should take the kids not try to act better my house burned to the ground last year lost everything not real easy to start over. Im just grateful Ive never thought I was better then them rasing my kids we made sandwiches and took them to the park for homeless people once I was stranded and homeless people once gave me bus money to get home. I wonder if any of you who are better would have helped me I hope you always have everything you need. Even with nothing I have more then you so do the homeless people thank you
Mellow & peaceful

This Park is so quiet and serene. Not over run with homeless. Lots of shady spots . And very clean. Ive been coming here sometimes to do my coloring. I have a favorite spot.
Great park except for the bathrooms which resemble the ones from the Orange County Jail System
One of my favorite parks to shoot hoops. Wish they could repair the basketball nets though.
Birthday parties with family, but recently been seeing too many junkies building a bike repair shop (stolen bikes) right behind the church. What a disgrace.
Good place to rest ur head
It can use more lights and less homeless people
It was dirty and the restrooms were locked on a sunday afternoon. so you can imagine what many park goers had to do in the bushes throughout the place!!
It doesnt have and magnolia but its still pretty and a great place to for local chicks and brew.
Tweeker paradise not for kids
I have been going to this park for 30+ years. For awhile i stopped because the large presence of gangs, and other unsafe factors. The park cleaned up tremendously, and i take my 8 year old son there. There is still a few bad apples, but it came a long way.
Good but pool should be open more and have bit more exercise stations
Its a nice small park its a great place to walk your dog
This park has everything from tennis courts to handball, Swing sets & slides & much more. Lots of shady trees and thick green grass for your 4 legged pets to roll around on. Also this park has a outside adult gym its fantastic,The grounds maintain very well.2 basketball courts, drinking water fountain and 2 bathroom. In the summer months they alsohave a pool, lifeguards on siteand they offer swimming lessonsfor your loved ones.

Great park
Tennis court needs to be resurfaced on the floor
Not a park for families. Homeless have taken over. Bathrooms are unusable. Local families trave outside our city for a safer cleaner park
Ok
Very nice place to spend a day or a few hours at.
Nice park for the kids, handball Courts are always busy so, same as basketball court. So if you want to play some pick up games u would like this park.
