Great place run by Garden Grove Historical Society. There are several historical buildings. You could see what kind of houses were built in 1891! Dining room, bedroom, kitchen, study, outhouse etc. They have Blacksmith Shop, Barbershop and much more. Very educational and interesting! Man people are not aware that OC has so many great smaller historical museums and sites! Open for public first and third Sunday.

Interesting and historic buildings, as well as beautiful flowers.the garage studio that Walt Disney first used after he moved to Los Angeles has been relocated here. its filled with many Disney collectibles from different eras. Its fun to think that Walt Disney himself once did work in this very building. The volunteer docents are very friendly and helpful with information about the various structures displayed.

The ultimate Las Vegas experience in a bar or as we would say pub. That was awesome to see the bartender ladies dancing on the bar. Very enjoyable. If your looking for a ultimate experience. You must go here and live the Vegas experience.

It was amazing what a great treasure in the middle of Garden Grove the history and the buildings were an amazing trip back to the past. And I especially like the fact that there were several houses and different styles to show you the variety of Los Angeles architecture during the 1890s to 1900

Tried to contact them to see if they were open. Wanted to go for my girlfriend’s birthday because she likes museums. They answered the phone and when I asked about hours to visit they waited until I finished asking and immediately hung up. (Looked pretty cool in the pictures actually. But if they won’t say when I can visit then I have to assume that it sucks)

This is the most wonderful tour. Our school goes there often and the students just love it! They get to see a home almost 200 years old and before electricity. They learn how people ironed, how they made butter, how they washed clothes. They get to attend a classroom and girls wear the old-fashioned bonnets while boys don the farmer hats. Students then see a home from the 1930s and get to compare how they made toast, refrigerated their foods, and washed clothes. Its a beautiful site and Im so happy students can attend and be hands-on!!

The Stanley house is not open daily like the website says, wasted my day thinking it was open, was confronted by there staff like I was some kind of trespasser, and was an idiot because I wanted to see the site. was told they only open 1 and 3 Sundays of each month.
