Easy to see right off of Stewart Avenue servicing Garden City and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff especially our server Oscar. We will definitely be going back.

Service was good, nice decor and food looked and tasted well seasoned, they have different selections of mojito flavors and they even had entertainment and dancers! Will be back to taste more in the menu, that shrimp cocktail looked great!!

The food was every tasty but the service was horrible! The waiter slammed the food on the table and set our hot plate appetizer on top of my silverware and walked away didnt even bother to ask who ordered what. I was constantly ignored when I was asking for drinks and food. I would understand if the place was crowded with people but it was only a few people at the bar and maybe one or two tables occupied. Ive been here before covid and the service was excellent I felt like I was on a vacation but my last experience put a bad taste in my mouth. Real bummer to see this place loose the best quality it possessed Class.

Everything about my experience here was awesome. Great atmosphere. Clean. Very friendly and talkative staff. Great food. Great drink. Great coffee. Outside and inside dining. Beautiful old Chevys out front.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. My boyfriend and I both had the red snapper replenish which was amazing, the lollipop chicken and quesadilla were also good. However we didnt enjoy our drinks, he had the Cuban lemonade and I had a strawberry margarita.

Huge restaurant with out door seating as well as indoor and a huge bar area as well. Food is excellent . Service is always top notch . You don’t have to make reservations. You can just walk in. Closes late and pricing is $$ affordable. Loud music and beautiful decor they really capture the essence of Cuba . Oh and to top it off they have valet parking and dance floor just in case you have happy feet .

The food is tasty. The chicken soup is the best! The perfect margarita is perfect. Nice ambiance. On the other hand, the service is horrible unless you get this one waiter who in my opinion is the only one who is experienced with waitricing.

Seems pretty and cozy from the outside. Has a lot of reviews on line so decided to try it. But I have mixed feelings. I am of Latin origin and a great cook but the food was missing flavor. Parking was easy, eating under a huge tent on a windy day did feel nice, but the food was mediocre. I am used to large portions at Spanish restaurants but surprised how small they were here. The appetizers were given to us at the time of our main meal. Once we served the food, no one came to check on our needs or satisfaction. Lacking flavor, service and not sure I would return. Sorry for the honesty.

Upon being seated at a hightop we informed our waiter that 2 other people would be joining us, he said it would be no problem seating them. We ordered appetizers and a entree. The appetizer coconut shrimp was ok, it was extremely sweet. The entree Puerto something, a pork dish was good. The remainder of our party showed up, at that point the 5 stars I would of given The Cuban went to a negative. One of our people said they wouldnt let her in even though we had a table inside. I went to go get her, next thing I know, there is an tall overweight security guard screaming in my face that we need to leave, Im trying to explain to him that the waiter said he will reseat our party at this point the security guard is making scene for no reason telling us that we had to leave and trying to grab at my arm to remove me. The waiter all of sudden doesnt remember saying that he was going to reseat us. The security guard was trying to throw us out like we did something wrong. The owner saw everything that was going on and didnt try to resolve anything. Not POC friendly.

Lively atmosphere, good food and drinks!!! 6 feet social distancing was not in effect. The bar was super packed. Space between tables inside and outside was not 6 feet apart either. Will come back and wait for one of the tables outside in the far corner as long as the weather is nice.

This is my second time here. I took my Mom for her birthday. Service was absolutely horrible. Food took forever to show up. Everyone had to eat at separate times. They automatically charged us a Tip when they didnt deserve it. They need to become more consistent. My first experience was totally different. I was embarrassed after hyping it up so much

Very well organised and accessible place. They offer generous meals and for inexpensive prices. I loved the food a lot and the waiters were super friendly and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.

The food is great, however the service is a little slow. We waited about 10-15 minutes to be served our drinks and then about another 10-15 minutes before our meal was served and some parts of the meal was room temperature. The drinks are strong so I give them applause for that and the presentation of the good is very appealing. I wouldnt dine there if the house is packed otherwise this is a nice restaurant and I do recommend you try it for yourself. Your experience may be different from mine.

Hey, its your boy again, finally made it to The Cuban and had a great time. If you looking for Latin Food, this is the spot for you flavor leaves your mouth looking for the next bite. Drinks many to choose from and then there is music and also live music with music come dancing but thats later in the evening. Very clean and great vibe check it out for those who look to book ahead they dont do reservations and wait times might vary. Enjoy

The food is well flavored and seasoned.The service is great,the drinks Amazing and the entire vibe is excellent.I went twice in one week to this place .My husband had the res snapper and i had the special lobster tails shrimp and steak out of this world.I will be going back maybe in the next week or so.

Food was good. The portions were small and the service felt a bit rushed. Went there at 12 for brunch and was initially told brunch was over even though its advertised from 11am to 3pm. After inquiring why they admitted it wasnt and eventually brought us a brunch menu. The meal wasnt too pricey but the waiter questioned whether we needed change or not on a $65.00 bill when we handed him $80. Overall the atmosphere captures a high end Latin restaurant but there were shortcomings with the food and service.

They can definitely reduce the prices by 10% 15% and they would still profit with more people coming in to buy. But thats just me knowing business managers and being an entrepreneur. The place is phenomenal but extremely pricey.

First of all, 5 stars obviously. The service is perfect. They respect the dinning experience and they provide timely service. The music is fire, i have no idea what they’re singing about but that sh*t rips. The staff is very friendly but not too friendly to where is annoying or creepy, theyre just genuine. Management is super nice and always is asking how everything is going. Now for the food. 2/10... Im totally joking, 11/10. its as if they have jesus himself in the kitchen serving up dishes that would put Gordon Ramsey to shame. Not sure what is happening in the kitchen but whatever it is, its magical and needs to continue for the good of humanity. Sh*t is fire. Just go and eat there.

The food was pretty good. It was pretty busy in and out. Steaks were not well done as requested. My wife and I grew beards waiting for our meals until we caught their attention. Maybe a crowded outdoor seating and indoor was too much for them. Bar tender was both bar tending and hosting tables, nuff said.

Yesterday was my first time trying food from this place because my boyfriend also wanted to try it for the first time. We ordered take out. The place was packed. As far as the food goes I wasnt amazed not one bit. The food was just okay. And I would never spend this amount of money ever again on just ok food. Too pricey and just not worth it .

Hey its your boy again today we tried The Cuban this was well overdue, and let me say I was not disappointed at all and in fact cant wait to return. Let jump right in, so the vibe just makes you feel like we all went back in time with the old classic cars before you enter. Then once you walk in the vibe now picks you up with that Latin sound of music and excellent decore. Now this is Latin food so we expect to have that flavor and taste that just make your mouth water for the next bite and it was on point every bite. The drink was excellent and the waiters and waitresses was so nice and tentive. Live music and dancing happen later on in the evening but real Latin food great time.

After not being able to dine out for 3 months we decided to try this restaurant. I can tell you we were not disappointed.The server’s were very nice. They converted the parking lot for outdoor dining. Which was very nice. They had a sign so the servers had on mask and some patrons also.The food was delicious. We had the guacamole and crab cakes. Skirt steak with green sauce. Coconut sangria.Will definitely come again. Thank you!!

First time visit past many times only ate lunch to wait for dentist appointment. Outdoor seating. Not sure if it was better prior to COVID but I dont think they can compete with Havana Central. Not saying it was bad but Ive had better. The red onions on the fried pork had too much vinegar and the jalapeño margarita was not spicy.

Amazing ambiance was just a bonus. The food is just a brilliant burst of Cuba. Everything has an alcoholic taste like it may be cooked in it. But nothing was short of taste, and style. Ive waited 3 years to go here and when i did, they sure delivered what I was looking for.

Ordered takeout on a Saturday. They said come in 25 minutes. The restaurant was very busy and lively. It peaked my curiosity. The order was not ready so I went to the bar for a drink. At the 1 hr mark still no food. Finally got the order and returned to hotel to find that they had forgotten the beans and rice sides, the ceviche for the $45 appetizer and an ingredient in the Paella. A phone call to the mgr did nothing. Finally, I was told to come fordinner that night and hed comp me something. I said I could not drop everything and come. It was like oh well too bad Im disappointed in the lack of concern for customers. I was looking forward to returning to dine in with friends but will not now. On a good note the Paella was very good even if it was missing something.

I love this place such a great music, excellent food, friendly staff. There is a valet parking . if u r lucky u may get a spot in front without charging. It is open to drink and dine in, sadly no dancing yet allowed but still they offered a great dancing show last night. Cool place to escape after work :) no dressing code at least last night!!!

We had our office holiday party there and everyone was satisfied with the atmosphere and the service. Food was nicely presented and seasoned well. Didnt need to decorate because their private room was perfect. Caroline was amazing at guiding us and making sure our party was a success!

The Cuban is a delight. I recommend eating outside, because the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is authentic and the music events heighten the experience. On busy nights, its difficult to snag a table, but worth it once you do. Enjoy!

First: This place isnt a T-shirt and jeans establishment. Second: on Friday and Saturday evenings (around 7ish) there is live music. Third: the food is absolutely delicious! The portion size is good and the prices per dish are about $18. The drinks are delicious and the appetizers are good. Customer is a little lack luster only because the place is typically packed on the weekends and so your table goes through several waiters. Its missing that personal customer service touch. Other than that its great. There is valet parking in the front and regular parking in the back.its a great time with great food!

Awesome restaurant! Great music, amazing food! The ambiance here brings out the sabrasura that Cuban is known for! We had a great time here. Dance while you wait to be seated, eat and have a phenomenal meal, then hit the dance floor again to enjoy burning the calories you just ate lol. I will definitely be going back! Red Snapper is totally worth it. Delicious!

I think this restaurant has really nice decor. The food was delicious. I loved the empanadas.

I absolutely love the dinner and show concept. I’ve dined here twice on a Friday night and was seated quickly even though the place was packed. Service was great. Drinks are on point and food was delicious as well. Took 1 star off because crab cakes were not good- at all, do not order. Some good choices are the shrimp empanadas and the octopus. I enjoyed the dancers and you they have a dance floor for the customers. Definitely a fun vibe here!

The food is excellent. The service is usually excellent too, though wasnt as good this last time- maybe from the COVID19 precautions? Still an excellent meal.

I cant stress how much I LOVE LOVE LIVE THIS PLACE. The food is IMPECCABLE its like a taste of CUBA, the staff is amazing and very attentive, the ambiance is OUTSTANDING. When Im there I feel like Im eating on the island of CUBA. If I could rate them from 1-10 I would give them a 100.. Oh and the drinks are DELISH.

Nice Cuban place near Hofstra/ Cradle of Aviation. The tostones rellenos, Paella Marinera and Passionfruit drink were very delicious. Not to mention the Tres Leches cake with Cafe con Leche was to die for.

When I got to the restaurant I was greeted with this exciting view, great music and beautiful Cuban dancers . My goodness I was so happy I chose this place. The menu I thought was amazing I actually was able to choose 8 items I thought I would truly enjoy. Boy what a let down! The food is horrible! And its such a shame. This place has everything for a great night out with friends and family except food! Man! Soooo disappointed!. When I go out to have dinner at a restaurant I expect to actually have dinner. $200 for my husband and I, and I was starving when I left the restaurant. I had to stop at a local deli just to fill my stomach, unbelievable. Advice from a Puerto Rican Chef, please hire a new Cooks or lower your prices.

This place was terrific. The atmosphere was fun and exciting. We drove up to find vale parking and some classic cars parked out front to give the place Cuban flare. Inside there was blue mood lighting with feather displays and colorful decorations everywhere. We sat at the high top tables near the bar. The bar tenders were busy making all of the creative cocktails on their menu while salsa music played in the background. The waiter started us off with some of the best bread I have ever tasted, when we asked him about what it was, he said its the chefs secret. All of out other food was delicious as well. The toastones were cooked perfectly and the avocado appetizer was great.

I went for the first time for a birthday celebration. The drinks are excellent! I only drink vodka, which they only have 2 drinks on the menu. The prices are great, and the food is authentic, fresh, and well made! I am not familiar with Cuban cuisine and didnt love what I ordered, but that was my fault. I tasted my friends food and theirs was delicious! I would recommend reading the menu online first so you can take your time in choosing a meal. The environment is very loud, upbeat, and friendly, with live entertainment (dancers) so questioning the waitress is pretty much out of the question. After eating, you can dance in the next room over. Great place for a celebration!

So I have mix feelings about this place the atmosphere was so nice & chill outside but the Food is always lacking something for me a touch of Latin Love and for the price we are paying honestly i shouldve fell in love with this place but its just OKAYY.

Great food reasonably priced fun place

I went during the brunch hours on Sunday, September 20, 2020 and I was very disappointed. When I was seated I was told that brunch was no longer be served they stopped the brunch at 3pm but when I was seated and when I placed my order it was not 3pm.

After not being able to dine out for many months, this was my first time in a restaurant. Ive been to the Cuban once before and decided to give it another try. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the special for 2 which was a combination of chicken, beef, shrimp and sausage. If I didnt know any better I was served the left overs from the night before. The dish was grossly over cooked and extremely dry. I would like to give this place a better rating but my experience with the food was horrible.

I would recommend to call before you go on the weekends to find out wait time for table Service. They have live music from Wednesday through Sunday and space for dancing. Outside and inside decorated very nice and different. Live DJ/singers and music were very loud but festive. Food was ethnic and very well done. Portions were moderate and a little pricey ($20+). Drinks were good and very strong. Only complaint i had was service was horrible. Never checked on us and seemed to be forgotten. Waited forever for check and then actually had to ask bar for check.
