Came on an early weekday and I was one of the few on the lake. Very peaceful and quiet. I didn’t notice much of any pollution around and the wildlife was very active. Even saw a beaver! Didn’t catch any fish this trip but this is one of the prettiest lakes I’ve been to so far, as a nature-lover. As far as I can tell, there’s an entrance fee on the weekend. There’s watercraft rentals, but if you bring your own there’s a hand launch ramp, so no need to worry about boat traffic around it. The fishing dock looked decent but maybe not when it’s busy. It appears there’s a trail that goes around the entire lake and looks really nice. It’s pretty active and I think a bird watcher would really benefit.

One of the nicest, lakes Ive been to! If you love the water, and woods it has a nice beginner to intermediate level trail! Roughly 4 miles or so completely around the lake!Close to the highway to jump off for an hour or so to enjoy the lake and trail!Usually pretty quiet this time of year! Summer is their busiest time! So, if you love nature or just want a quiet place to meditate!Clopper lake has it!Great for couples, and family! Dogs allowed, but must be leashed! Hope you enjoy as much as I do!PS: trail is marked with blue paint on the trees so you wont get lost or hung up in the bushes!

Clopper lake is seneca State park and you must go through seneca park entrance and the gate is not open until 10am on weekends - so i don’t know why Google has the two parks as different listings - it’s completely wrong - it’s the same place and the opening hours fir this place is incorrect

This is a great place to take a mental health break!! Just take the path around the lake and listen to the wind in the trees. Look at the birds, contemplate life.

Beautiful State Park with well maintained trails. Blazes are well marked and the trail map online is accurate. 3.7 Mile Walk around the lake is beautiful, with mild gains in elevation and really nice scenery. Very few people were out while we were on the trail, passes two joggers and a dog walker.Parents: Nice place for a walk with kiddos. There are also 2 playgrounds that we saw and a disc golf course.EV drivers: No charging available.

We had a great morning outing with our granddaughter and her friend. We rented one paddle boat for the girls and a kayak for my husband & myself. The boat rental center manager, Justin, was super friendly and helpful. The lake was totally peaceful (we went on a weekday). Its amazing that weve lived here 30 years and have never done this. What a nice place to be out in nature and escape all the traffic and crowded tourist places of our area! Also, the boat rentals here are considerably cheaper than Black Hills boats at Seneca Lake.

Love this state park tucked in the middle of Germantown. Plenty of peaceful hiking trails around the lake or take your family to one of the picnic spots and enjoy the afternoon.
