A nice glass item shop. Al ot of hand blowned items. Neat to see the glass blowers working in the shop a well. Worth the travel.
Great place and best people ever. If you are looking for that one of a kind gift, this is the place to go. Looking for instruction, there is no place better.
Amazing owners definitely worth taking the time to visit while seeing the beautiful scenery as a bonus. Thanks for showing us around your awesome space.
What a fun time! Bruce gave the two of us a three hour lesson and assisted us in creating three items. He was very patient and provided clear and direct instructions. We learned much and would gladly take additional lessons. Added bonus...we ended up with beautiful glass pieces that are worth more than the cost of the lessons. I will cherish the glass but more so the memory.
My wife and I did the three hour instruction. We had a blast - definitely a fun time and we even managed to make some half decent creations! The instructor was very good and everyone there was super nice. I would highly recommend the experience to someone wanting to try something a little different!
Amazing place! Made a vase here with glass blower Josh. He was incredibly helpful, and so patient with my wife and I who had no experience. I would recommend this to everyone!
For May 25, 2019 I booked a 3-hr (semi-private) lesson for my wife and me to celebrate our anniversary and what was our first glass-blowing experience. We had an amazing time! Our instructor – Bruce – was excellent. He thoroughly explained each step in the glass-blowing process. Sometimes he performed a step by himself; sometimes he performed steps and we helped; other times he let us perform steps entirely unassisted (but still with a watchful eye for our safety). He made it clear that if we wanted to do a step unassisted that we should just ask – he was happy to oblige, so long as he felt we were safe. For my second piece, I even started the air bubble through the blowing tube on my own, something he said he’d never before let any other student do!Bruce was incredibly patient, thorough, and taught us the lingo without over-complicating it; the results speak for themselves! Bruce ensured we got the most out of our experience, and couldn’t have been nicer doing it! Never once did I feel like he “took over” a project and he offered so much encouragement, it was hard not to enjoy ourselves. The other instructor there at that time, Josh, was just as helpful and kind.We picked up our pieces (2 glasses, 1 vase, and 1 bowl) today and they look amazing! We can’t wait to use them. The pricing for the instruction was more than reasonable, especially considering all that we learned and all we brought home.We look forward to another opportunity to visit the studio and blow some more pieces.
My husband and I went. We had never done anything like this before. What a great experience we had. Well worth the time it took .The people were fantastic. They showed us what an amazing talent it requires.
A wonderful visit with the artisans at Art of Fire today. Lovely hand blown glass, a working glass blowing studio, lessons, furnace time available for rent! Lots of featured items from other artists. Lots of great cats hanging out (and some very cool people too.)
I love this place! First time at the shop but a frequently customer from another venue.
