Very pretty park with a nice view of the lake. Picnic tables with grills. Walking path. We spent some enjoyable and relaxing time sitting on the swing and watching the boats.
Great park with tons of picnic tables and a great little beach. Parking is easy and there is a public restroom near the entrance. We have come with groups from 4-10 and have always had a great time.
Nice land scape to walk, short trails . Some swimming but not clean, due too the birds.
They have made big changes to this park. You now have to pay to get in, and have to park in a parking lot quite far from the lake. You now have to carry all of your stuff down sidewalks up to a mile away to get to some spots. You used to be able to drive right up to a spot with all of your stuff. All spots have picnic tables and charcoal grills but no trash cans. Trash cans are located by the parking lot. So make sure to bring a trash sack with you. Many of the spots were not planned out very well and have poor views of the lake. Some sites are pretty good though. The park has one boat ramp and a courtesy dock, but the lake must be near full pool for the dock to be usable. There are quite a few parking spots for trailers.
Beautiful park with restrooms, grills, and picnic tables. There are trails and a boat ramp too.
One of the few parks that isnt overcrowded. Nice boat launch and dock. Nice grassy area and picnic table for picnics.
Great day and location to watch the Great American Bot Parade!
Great spot to fish, launch a boat, or picnic.
Very cool spot just get there early.
Awesome park nice and quiet
Beautiful place to picnic, launch your boat, or go fishing!
If youre looking for a great place to go boating off the beaten path, this is a great area to explore. Lots of coves to pull into and relax for a nice swim. Or if youre into skiing it is very nice as well!
Very nice place for relaxing and picnic
Clean and not crowded. Boat ramp spaces are a little small, but when its not crowded it is not a big deal.
Such a great place to walk w a dog or stroller or both!
First time there. Very beautiful and peaceful. Great place to talk the children to swim! Staff is very friendly!
Great park to walk in and has a swing that over looks the lake Lanier to watch the sun sets.
Great park.
So I was fishing there today, listening to music... Everything is chill. Then turn around and see a freaking bear 15 feet from me. I was about to go for a swim ... Fml
Great place to put your boat in. Plenty of parking. Lots of picnic tables and grills for a picnic. Designated swimming area less than desirable.
This place is small and tucked away and I never knew it was there. The grounds are very well kept, I dont think I saw a single piece of trash or even a cigarette butt anywhere on the ground. This location has parking to visit one of the many little get-together spots and grill / picnic / swim, or you can park in the other long parking spots and get your boat into the water from this location. There is currently a $5 parking fee, and it only accepts credit cards not cash. There is a public restroom right in the middle and it isnt too bad.
Great to walk the puppies. Lots of wildlife to see.
One of the quietest places to put in that centrally located to the south end.
I went last night. Very cool place. We walked a mile down Bethel to get in.I wish there was a cash slot instead of just cards for dues... And they NEED to mow the grass ESPECIALLY B4 THE 4TH OF JULY ️
Great Park!
Very peaceful and quiet park.
They took out the playground
I really enjoyed the fishing..and how quite it was..and the water was beautiful
Absolutely rude attendant!!!
Nice peaceful place to walk by the lake.
Its a newly renovated park now, $5 entry fee to get in. There is a nice boat ramp and plenty of parking. The dirt roads that circled the park are a thing of the past and is now sidewalk. There is a small parking lot when you pull in and an even bigger lot for trailers near the boat ramp. This place is very clean and maintained with a bunch of new picnic areas, tables, grilles and another added beach. They should spread the trash cans around the park along walkways instead of all in one spot.
Nice place to go hang out and relax
Love. It.Almost dont want to write a review because I want to keep this place to myself.Quiet, clean, beautiful, and ... Quiet.
Beautiful park.. nice single boat ramp.
Only crowded on the weekends. There is a charge to get in. Clean bathrooms
Really great place for family cookouts
Very nice pastoral setting by lake Lanier. . Great for relaxation.
Very quiet and lovely place for an evening swim and a nice barbeque. Lots of benches and grills.
Very peaceful not crowed .
Great time great people.
The parks department ruined my favorite park in Forsyth County by paving the entire lakeside area and charging an entry fee. I enjoyed spending time at this park for many years, but theres no way Im paying $5 to sit and read or play guitar here for a few hours.
Nice and clean place. Great access to the lake
Free to use, day use only. Small boat ramp is popular with kayakers and smaller powerboats. Nice picnic areas but grills and only a few tables provided.
Clean and well maintained.
Water was way too far down. But couple at front gate was very friendly and nice
Nice park for a picnic on the lake...not crowded
Very beautiful views very clean grate place to spend the day
Great place to launch boat
Very friendly staff and clean park.
Hidden Gem in lake lanier, go here for picnics or just to walk around, beautiful views of lake lanier.
Peaceful park loved it
Just so everyone knows, the Feds have a no trash policy as the collection and disposal of garbage was becoming a major budget item.Take nothing but photographs, leave NOTHING but footprints.
Pretty place not many people.
Excellent place
Big parking lot. All the trees are mostly gone
Beautiful place
Good spot for walk around & relax
Small
