Its a beautiful boat landing. we had a wedding out there and there was plenty of room for everything including social distancing. Also a bath in there.

Maintained and nice place to catch fish .. safe shore fishing for kids, they also have a playground and public bathrooms ... now is a good time because the water level is up... when the water is very low can be very difficult shorefishing

Love going fishing here. It is a beautiful place. Havent been able to catch much lately due to mating season for the Gators. But when it isnt mating season we always catch a bunch of catfish!

Nice restroom. Plenty of picnicking tables and ample parking. The boat ramp isnt steep with ample dock space. Room to fish from the bank or on the fishing pier. Small play ground for the kids to. The lake isnt full of weeds but at times the water is dirty brown. Good brim fishing and catfish if youre lucky. I havent had much luck with bass but when you do get one its of good size.

This boat ramp is spacious enough to allow walking and enjoying the lovely setting. There is also a jetty going into the lake, where anglers seek peace and inspiration more than catching fish. The place is sultry, Southern, it has a little play area for young people, and much Spanish moss everywhere. Time is a bit suspended, the air is sweet, the lake glistens gently, it is simple, and beautiful

Nice boat ramp, picnic tables okay, playground run down and fenced off. Could use a sign on the road so people know where to turn.

Newnans lake is FULL of alligators ... chances are good if you go here that youll see some. The boatramp park has a bathroom, picnic tables and a play area for kids. There is a fishing dock at the begining of the canal that offers great views to the lake. The bathrooms smelled but othe3r than that a great spot.

Easy to access, calm and nice!

Pretty park, quiet, easy on and off the highway. Wish wed been able to see a crocagator though. Very nice place for a pit stop on our ride home.

Beautiful fishing area wide variety of fresh water species. Everything from blue gill to bass cat fish to specks enjoy the picnic area. Nice area period

It is a nice place to spend time on the water. There are two boat ramps with floating docks. There is also a fishing pier at the South Park.

Hidden on the outskirts of East Gainesville theres a lake all the locals know about. Its a small park with free boat ramp,clean restrooms,picnic tables,kids play area,fishing in the canal,and a small fishing pier.Yes u might even see a gator and a great view of birds, eagles,hawks, hearon,ducks just to name a few. I go fishing from the pier 1-2 times a week. On a small reel a big catfish can be fun and a challenge to catch. Came here often as a kid 40+ yrs ago glad to see how well it has been improved and preserved. At one point this lake was almost dead and gone. Now its a great place for reunions, birthday partys and meeting interesting strangers both young and old. Easy to make new friends there just talk about Fishin

Its a good place to fish people are very friendly I wish that county would put lights in the fishing dock so people could fish after dark thank you
