My Mother graduated from this lovely building with her Masters today. The prestigious graduates fit into the intimately sized auditorium nicely, not a bad seat in the house. There is a sort of sepia tone to the room so be prepared to adjust for photos accordingly

Pearce Auditorium is the loveliest venue in Gainesville. There is nothing that matches this historic theater for atmosphere. Its well preserved for its age. Yes, the floors creak a bit and you should be careful not to get a seat where the view of the stage is obstructed by a column, but I have felt there was something magical about this theater since I first had the chance to visit - on a class field trip in 5th grade to see a Gainesville Childrens Theater production back in the late 80s!

Nice production of the Nutcracker. Some seats are tighter spacewise than others, but this is a beautiful venue.

Love the place, very charming. Easy parking around back. On level access for people with disability issues. Attended a performance of granddaughters dance group. Best ever.

Its a beautiful performance facility built in the late 1800s. I have seen many concerts and shows there and everything from acoustics to lights is well done. It is worth seeing when youre in town.

Good place for a little graduation, but it was way too hot and stuffy.. The sits do not accommodate bigger people. The seats are uncomfortable. But the painting on top of the ceiling was pretty.

A really cool place, we were there for a ballet recital. It reminds me of a miniature Fox Theatre.

Attended a Hooding Ceremony for grad students in Pearce Auditorium. Classic19th Century style. Comfortable. Good acoustics.
