This was our first visit to Heartwood and a great experience! It was a perfect venue for the Tom Petty Birthday Tribute weekend. So many talented bands, all seating had a great view. Lovely wine and craft beer selection. Loved that they had vendors available with an incredible selection of crafted instruments, handmade jewelry, artwork amongst other things. The tribute artwork for Tom Petty was astounding and we look forward to coming back!

This place was unique. Open air, and beautiful. We went to the tom petty tribute party. And all were very good. Southern accents a cover band was spot on. This place offers a variety of services.

Experienced the amazing EP release for Palimony. The sound and video crew at Heartwood are amazing as is the multi-room, warm, wooded, and refined space. Its like Austin City Limits in Gainesville!! I love there are many screens to experience the music across each room including outside. Plus, Palimony!! A class-act, dynamic, folk-rock and is complex, psychedelic, and heartful!!

Very nice intimate venue for music.

I came for back to school fest and they put on a terrific show. Google maps puts you in the right place for parking but its a little weird bc you gotta walk through kind of an alley to get to the venue. Really cute place, cool hipster vibe and really excellent staff who obviously love their jobs.

As a musician you could not ask for a better performance/recording environment! With the real time stream capability, my friends all over the world were able to enjoy our show. And, the video and sound recordings are as good as it gets. The audience experience was intimate and informal. My friends were amazed at how good the band sounded. Bravo to whole team of professionals who made this possible. Make the time and get over there. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!

I went there for the first time to see a band called Idylwild, it was fire af. The stage room is on the small side, but they have a cool setup that lets you see and hear whats going on outside and in the lobby of the main building if you cant get seats. 5 dollar admission was worth it, and it has it its own parking.

I finally had a chance to visit Heartwood for the first time since it opened this year: amazing! Super unique venue combining the stage and studio,. Ive known Dave for a while now from Medusa; this place brings in a whole new dimension. If you love music production, performance, and recording arts - definitely check this place out!

Really good venue for live performances. Seating has great views of the stage, trading total capacity for a closer connection. Good acoustics (as long as performers have grown out of their juvenile Guitar Hero obsession with damaging sound levels). Convenient access to refreshments. Parking is poorly lit and finding it can be confusing.

Heartwood Soundstage is one amazing place to listen to music. The sound is perfectly clear. I have only experienced this level of acoustic nirvana in one other place- Lincoln Center’s Jazz Club. Go out and enjoy.

This is one of those rare artistic spaces that builds community. Gainesville is blessed to have more than one of these venues and this place is one of the newest. One of the two guys running the place has been a long-time sound engineer in Gainesville. Heartwood regularly has events open to the public and are a great way to get involved with a great bunch of talented people.

Great place to listen to music

Excellent place for concerts! I was there last week for Heartwood Musical Festival. My son played with his band LOCOCHINO as well as sitting in with another band. The event took place from Noon until 2AM. Three stages, vendors and evena jump house and activities for children. Im sure youd enjoy tbe line up of bands during up and coming events. Ypu cam also schedule a recording session tjere with state of tbe art equipment!

I have only been here twice, but both times have been phenomenal shows. Its a beautiful music and concert venue, although small. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in quality.

The jewell in the crown here is its sound stage. Instruments and vocals can be immersive. Beer is served in the lobby and allowed in the sound room. Think Austin City Limits and youre almost there. Eat before you go... its popcorn only.
