Wonderful, talented people who produce great live theater!

Enjoyed the gospel singing of Looking for a City! Another fine production from the Theatre of Gadsden at the Ritz.

I enjoy attending plays here. The staff is always very friends and helpful. They always sell raffle tickets and have a drawing for two free tickets. The cast members are very talented and stay after the play for a meet and greet.

One of the best kept secrets in our area.... quality shows of a caliber equal to large cities. Cant say enough about it....

Best community theatre around!

Public event venue located in Alabama City. Part of the restoration oh historic Alabama City. The building was the old Ritz Theater where many of the generation before me watched black and white motion pictures on Saturday afternoon for ten cents. From what my Mom would describe that four to six blocks of Alabama City would have the side- walks full of people going about their business and entertainment. If I am not mistaken highway 431 (Meighan Blvd) was no more than a two lane US highway through the city. I have seen multiple events at this location and have never been disappointed. The ambiance a history 9f the site seems to simply make the good things better. The theater group is surprising talented and have performed above expectations in productions as good as any in our five state region. Also saw a production of Annie by Episcopal Day School that could easily be the best show I have seen by children eighth grade younger. I would have no problem recommending the location to ant of people I know from across the southern states all the way to the West Coast.

I have grown up doing shows in this theatre and I have made many great memories here. This is such an amazing place and I have made so many friends here. This is by far my favorite place to be no matter what. Im currently in their production of Annie!

They work hard to put on entertaining plays and to make the experience wonderful.

Easy access for parking, old little theater but had a great time with the Looking for a City tour. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

The show was great! My son and I really enjoyed ourselves.However, when he paid for the tickets with his card, he found out later the cashier accidently charged double for our tickets.She was having problems with the computer beforehand.Hoping to get it fixed tomorrow .

This is one of my favorite theaters. They keep the theater clean, have enough staff at the ticket counter/concession stand that I seldom have to wait more than a few minutes and the staff is friendly. Parking is also very convenient.

It was a great show! Everyone needs to make plans to enjoy our local talent right here in Gadsden! I encourage everyone to attend The The Theatre of Gadsden. You will be glad you did.

Watched a friend in a staged reading here. Its my first visit here. Small-ish theater for live plays. Very antiquated feel.
