Very serene and beautiful. Well manicured, had area for dog walkers, playground, yellow creek can be used for kayaking, paper boats, just watch the wildlife frequent the creek, or go fishing... Lots of walking trails, all kinds of activities including disc golf, tennis, a merry go round, Ive skating rink, playgrounds, etc. Freeports best kept secret for sure!

A very big Park that is well maintained and lots of friendly people and dogs around. I walk my dog here daily, there are two sets of playgrounds, paddle boats for rent, ample walking trails that are paved, and a nice waterfall.

I have been visiting Krape Park since I have been a child. This park is not only historic, its also beautifully maintained and scenic as well as family friendly. The most popular amenity is the vintage carousel that has been restored to its original glory. The park also has a miniature golf course, a duck pond and a man-made waterfall that operates daily, providing for a beautiful photo backdrop.

Only been here twice and never realised how big it is. I love going on nature walks here and bringing the kids to have some fun. The park is a wonderful place for kids to run around and go on a merry go round or play some miniature golf.

We are so lucky to have such a gem in our community. Our group of friends have been having our get togethers at Krape Park. On a nice day it perfect for social distancing. Great place for walks with beautiful scenery. Kids love the kids castle and merry-go-round. Dont forget miniature golf. Enjoy!

What wonderful park in the middle of a busy city. It is filled with great scenery and abundant wildlife.

Dont throw your disk in the weeds, youll get a ton of hitchhikers in your socks, pants, towel, bag, shirt, according to my friend, underwear. I cant vouch for the underwear hangers-on but the rest I can guarantee.

I took my 8 year old granddaughter to Krape Park for the afternoon. The park has a renovated carousel with rides for only $.50! There is a ramp available for wheelchair accessibility. Also a bench for those not wanting to ride a horse. There are plenty of playgrounds including one for young kids. There is an 18 hole mini golf course with reasonable rates. There is a bandshell with concerts during the summer. There are ducks swimming on the creek that runs through the park. You can rent a paddle boat or canoe to tour the park. Disc golf is available. Tennis courts and picnic tables are available for use. Shelters can be reserved through the Park District Office.

Great day for exploring the many walking paths throughout the park! Social distancing practiced by many!

I just found this GEM! One my of favorite parks I have ever stepped foot on. Very clean. Tons of stuff to do for the littles. We did take a paddle boat road ride that was very relaxing and inexpensive. Nice place for a family day or just have some time alone on the trails.

Its a grate place for a family day, however the only thing was people who take their dogs dont pick up after them. There was dog poop by the playground and kids stepped in it which resulted in dog poop on the playground.

Great park. They have a carousel with rides that are .50 cents each. There is also a huge castle playground and a 1954 firetruck that the kids can play on. In addition to those play spaces there are also at least 2 other playground areas within a short walking distance from one another. The park is located along a river where you can see a beautiful waterfall and rent paddle boats, kayaks and canoes. The paddle boats are shaped like swans and dragons. The kids really enjoyed these.

This park was great! We are from kenosha county wi and will definitely be making a trip back. The carousel was adorable, there were a lot of paths to walk, I loved the waterfall. I dont know if all of the stuff is open all of the time or just for events like the 4th of july. Ut their concessions were very reasonably priced and they even had some different community volunteers there.

This is a real nice park. It is well kept and has modern amenities. There is a waterfall and a merry-go-round. They have floating animal shaped peddle boats. It was definitely a nice visit. Very family friendly.

This place was a lot of fun. The kids loved to look at everything from the water, the wildlife, the waterfall, and all the playgrounds. We even had to ride the carousel, twice! The ONLY thing I had a problem with - the swing for special needs did NOT have a seat belt. So my son couldnt enjoy the swing

Krape park is one of the most beautiful parks in the state. The carousel is amazing an the adults love riding as much as the kids. The park is perfect for all ages, from the duck boats, mini golf, tennis courts, and hiking trails to frisbee golf there is something for everyone.

So much to enjoy! Krape Park has something for everyone!

They build a nice walk path, and people still walk in the road. The workers have ITVs to work on the grass areas but they drive and park pick up trucks on the grass. Leaving ruts in the grass for someone to twist an ankle on.

We are blessed to have such a lovely and fun park near us!!!

Theres plenty to do here. I love that the boats and carasel are cheap. Only issue I came across, was I overpaid for someone that didnt want to ride. And could not be refunded my money. She said she could issue me a ticket, which is not helpful since Im not from here. So that made me quite angry and upset. And unfortunately it was never resolved. I had to settle with the fact that i was out on that money :(

Wonderful place. Saw a deer just 2 feet from my car.. And a momma raccoon and her 5 babies walking across the grass and climbing a tree. Will definitely be coming back a lotCant wait to bring my grandchildren to go on the paddle boats, play miniature golf, ride the merry-go-round and play on the many playgrounds. Even the wonderful waterfall!
