Home of the FXBG Love sign, which is one of the most photogenic parts of our beautiful town - especially covered in fallen snow in winter, or surrounded by flowers and greenery in the summer. The rest of the park could be maintained a bit better at times, but its a great place to walk through with your dog, sit and read, or visit the Saturday Farmers Market.

We love this scenic little park in the middle of downtown. With lots of big, shady trees to sit under, benches, a fountain, decent restrooms, and room for the little ones to run around, this is a lovely spot to spend an afternoon.

Loved the Farmers Market this Saturday morning. Peaches, cherry tomatoes, habanero and brandy jams, spicy pineapple salsa, cinnamon swirl and jalepeno-cheddar-garlic breads, topped off with a trip to Taste of Trelawny (Google it if you dont know!) for some serious Jamaican food.All in all, a great day!

Anyone whos Anyone has their event here because of its perfect location and ample space. Plus, now there are bathrooms! The Farmers Market is always a great place to get fresh & local produce, and theres almost always something community based happening on the weekend. Theres lots of benches and even a LOVE for middle schoolers to Instagram pictures in front of that theyll delete in a couple years when they realize its cringy. Overall, A good park.

Wonderful small park in downtown Fredericksburg though recently the town mayor has allowed drunks, protesters, and homeless to panhandle and bother patrons.

Such a nice, quiet, serene area. We recently went for the farmers market and it was lovely! Such a wide selection of local produce and artisan food, beverages, and many other things. Infused honey, soaps, popcorn, body spray, so much selection! Very clean and very fun.

Is very calming place

Great little place for the art fair and a great place to take the dogs out enjoy the great area to just sit down and relax. In the center of the city so the ability to find most things you react within walking distance is great. Highly impressed by the outdoor upkeep and the regulations for outdoor upkeep.

I LOVE the Fredericksburg Farmers Market! The best and biggest ones are the first of the month, but they all are great! I think yesterday may have been doggy day (so many people with dogs!). They are starting a co-op grocery store - so excited! I love the plants and produce, but they also have kettle corn, fresh breads, seafood, meats, soaps, lip balm....artwork....so much stuff! Sometimes even a wine tasting and goat cheeses! You wont regret going.

Went to the Farmers Marlet here and got a few local items. Nice park, clean and great walkways. Not big, but decent.

I really enjoyed spending time with my family in this wonderful country town.

Nice park. The only issue I have is that the bathrooms are open 8 to 8, and they are Auto locking, which means if you walk in the park at night (like I love to take walks at night) you are out of luck. Its a nice, convenient location in downtown, and you would think that it wouldnt be problematic with having the bathrooms open 24/7. OH well. Its wide open, so its easy to play games in. I never get to see the events, as I work 2 jobs, and the only times I get to the park are at night.

Great park with multiple free electrical outlets for charging our many devices. Clean and easily accessible bathrooms and central downtown location make this a winner!

Farmers market on Saturday morning. Fresh Plants, Organic Meats, fruits, vegetables and crafts for sale. Tuesdays around noon. Music. Many other events are scheduled there throughout the year.

Great event snowball fight

Its a small park, but its the perfect place for a nice outing. Its big enough to run around in, but you dont have to worry about losing track of anyone. The design is also really nice and perfectly complements the Downtown vibe.

Went to Picnic in the Park Tuesday ?May 7th. Music and kids activities and food trucks. It was great!

I love Hurkamp Park for the free events that are frequently held there (Picnic in the Park, Farmers Market)However, I stopped visiting outside of these events as on numerous occasions while walking downtown Ive seen people high on drugs laying around the park.

Vendors are wonderful. Very difficult to walk from vendor to vendor due to the sidewalks.

The park itself is really just a 3 but the things offered in and around it are a 5, this is where the weekly farmers market can be found as well as other festivals and events. Sometimes there will be group yoga or a concert. The park itself has no extras...it is just an X of sidewalks, a fountain and a few park benches along the path.

Always a great park to visit

Lovely little park in downtown Fburg. Has bathrooms, playground, fountain. There is also a farmers market (seasonal) and often live bands.

Attended the Hannukah menorah lighting on Sunday evening, Dec. 2nd. The fairly new public restroom is very nice. There are decorations and large picture frames for photo ops: Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza, Happy Hannukah. Nicely done.

Besides the farmers market, they also offer free kids concerts once a week during the summer.

Great farmers market that keeps getting better. Plenty of vendors, fresh and prepared foods.

Every year the local farmers market starts in April. This is the best time to go, why, because they generally have plants (vegetables, fruits, and flowers) for sale as well as produce and other products.
