We met extended family here as a meeting point to let our kids play before exploring Frederick proper. This is a great little park. A fun fenced in playground with a big sandbox for younger children as well as a larger separate section of equipment for older kids. I really liked the triple twist slide and the three way super danger slide (the two outside slides are very steep and cut back aggressively, while the middle slide is a series of drops that will entrain kids of almost any ages!). This park was super clean and very convenient to downtown Frederick.
I saw the reviews saying the toddler play area was good, so we tried it out. It really was great! Having toddler sized equipment in a fenced in area is perfect. Plenty of room for them to run and play but the adults dont have to worry about them getting into traffic or too far away to catch. Plenty of benches for sitting, too. It was the perfect place to spend a couple of hours with my 2 year old.
My son loves this park. Its very clean and safe.
Small park. Good for kids. No restroom
Large public park with several play areas for any age to enjoy. Parking is down an alley. Swing set area too, but only for larger children, no baby swings.
Nice little city park with playground and open grassy areas.
Cute little park. Sandbox was a plus
Great lots of kids for other kids to play with!
Nice park, lots of shade around perimeter, and street parking. Back in and have a picnic!
Great park. Theres picnic benches. A great toddler playground thats fenced in with a sandbox. Also a playground for older kids. My 2.5 year old loved the older part as well and was big enough to do most of it.
Loved it. Bathrooms need renovated badly. Plenty of tables and chairs, unless we brought them. It had space for multiple games and grilling. Kids loved the playground.
My family enjoyed the park. Sand, trucks and many slides! There was trash but we made it fun and picked up other peoples trash.
There was a NA pinic and very enjoyable. Very nice play area if you just want to take to the kids to enjoy. Very clean park.
Great park! Older jungle gym in the sun and younger jungle gym and sandboxes in the shade. The younger area is fenced in. There is a sign on the gate saying dogs allowed. Lots of open running space and shade. I would warn that the green slides on the older age jungle gym are dangerously steep for most ages, even older kids and the bathrooms were locked, so plan ahead with potty training. They do have off street parking and toys in the sandboxes as well as a bunch of swings. I would definitely take the kids again.
Only 2 blocks from my granddaughters and a wonderful place to spend an hour or 2. Separate playgrounds for toddlers and bigger children makes it fun for everyone.
Love the large fenced play area for littles within eye/earshot of equipment for bigger kids! Huge pavilion. Mature trees.
Its a great place for the kids to play
Nice park, good childrens play equipment, awesome sandbox for toys, parking a bit of a challenge depending on time and day. Overall very nice!
My son loves the twisty slides here.
Great park, parking not so good!
Great neighborhood park with something for all ages and 2 updated nice looking pavilions with BBQ grills. 1 draw back...sometimes there are unattended small kids there. Great place to walk your dog too!
The section of the playground designed for very small children is built in a spot that provides amazing shade throughout the day, which is a huge plus. However, the rest of the playground (where older children would be) is in full sunlight pretty much all day. Not a deal killer but I knock off one star for that reason.
Two play areas- one for younger children is enclosed with a gate! Also has swings, two sandboxes and picnic tables
Nice place for a little league game
Love how close this park is but people leave it trashed, and it does not feel dog friendly
Nice new playground equipment; has a smaller fenced-in area (with a sandbox!) for younger kids, a basketball court, pavilion and tables, a huge field, etc.
This is a decent park. A little run down, but not bad. Has a fenced in area for smaller children.
This is a nice park between the northern and middle part of the city. It has a large playground including a sandpit. There is a baseball field and a pavilion.
I love this part it has shade my daughter loves it too
Nice park close to the YMCA, not crowdy, lots of trees, basketball court, playground etc. Parking is very limited, - one can park only on the road shoulder. Yoga classes, instructors and visitors are awesome. Oooohmmmm! :)
My son could spend all day here.
It was well kept and clean
Its ok but needs more for kids to play on
Has a ballfield and park for smaller children . A group of larger kids screaming and yelling acting up ruined it.
We love the fenced-in toddler area and smaller structures in the shade.
Nice Neighborhood Park for picking, Has Swings for the Kids and a Ball Field!
Very peaceful.
Nice place for kids to play. Includes a small fenced in playground for young kids, a larger playground, two pavilions, and a baseball field.
Very clean bathrooms were nice and neat
Good park though parking can be a little tight
Very clean park not overcrowded, enjoyed watching my grandson play ball!
Great place for large group, especially with gated playground meet the pavilion.
Fun baseball field and a beautiful playground amongst other things
Large park with playgrounds, pavilions, basketball courts, baseball field and plenty of green open space.
Great fenced in area for little ones.
