Its never over crowded. Its very clean. The people that do go there are very pleasent to each other. The playground equipment is new and updated. And updated restrooms!Pavilions have like 12 tables under them 4 grill on the side and actual lights to turn on under the roof.

Lovely park. This is the short version. Oh and beautiful. Nature at its best. Water and beautiful plants. I love it after the rain, the smell of the ground after the rain is addicting.

We love going here to spend time on the river. Fishing is good, tubing is good, and kayaking is EXCELLENT. There is lots to do at Pinecliff, and lots of space to stretch out. Pavilions a d ball fields, as well as several playgrounds for the kids. Great for jogging and walking and riding bikes too. We even fly kites and throw boomerangs here. You wont be disappointed.

Really nice and well maintained park on the banks of the Monocacy river in Frederick County Maryland. Plenty of athletic fields with lights. Numerous pavilions that are 1st come 1st serve unless they have been reserved. Nice playgrounds for children and a sledding hill weather permitting of course.

A gate kept me from driving to one parking area. I never found the nature trail I thought was there. It seems like a nice place; maybe not so much on a December day with temp about 25 degrees. The sledding hill looks cool, but there wasnt any snow (or people) today.

Terrific place to play softball. They have a couple playgrounds, so you can keep small kids busy easily. Is also a stream that runs through it so if kids like to go waiting, under supervision of course, you have that option also. I also have a couple small Pavilions you can rent for parties Etc. Nice place to go in Frederick.

Nice park! There are two playgrounds, and they are both fun for kids. Instead of mulch, there is a rubbery solid ground covering -very nice. A good amount of swings are available. Surrounded by trees, there are actually times that the larger playground is shady, which is rare with playgrounds and wonderful in summer. Also nice are the nearby pond and river. Come at the right time and the pond is teeming with tadpoles and baby frogs, and kids always love visiting a river. You can play on a playground or have a nature walk! There are special winter activities available, but weve never tried them, and they have a rentable building as well as picnic shelters and sports fields. It can be buggy sometimes in summer, but Pinecliff is a great little park!

Review №69

This place is really really awesome! Pine cliff has 2 play grounds, a pond that has frogs, lizards and fish, (leeches too but your not allowed in the water) plenty of spots to fish, baseball fields, volley ball nets. And during the winter, the pond you can ice skate on, and they have a hill for sledding. Only bad thing is how muddy it gets from heavy rain, and it floods.

It also has a small building you can rent out for family gatherings or parties. There us the Monocacy river running alongside, so thete are options for wading in the water too... it closes at dark except when softball games are being played..
