Made a visit to check out the new theater on a Saturday afternoon. Simply Awesome! Being in the afternoon it wasnt crowded which I enjoyed. The entire staff was polite and I could tell they were smiling even with their masks on. The theater is super clean, has a great vibe and the Auditoriums are awesome! Great, comfy chairs that recline and are heated. Come and watch a movie here and youll have a great time. Ill definitely be back!

Great place to see a movie, you wont want to ever go to another theatre again (or leave this theatre). They currently have such items as grilled cheese, pretzels, pizza, etc. Popcorn and soda are free refills. best part is the bar serving mixed drinks and a fabulous beer wall with 20 beers on tap (you load money on a card and serve yourself, charges by the once so you can sample countless beers).

WOW...What a great place to enjoy a movie! First off, there is plenty of space to social distance. The seats are wide, recline with foot rest and even heat. They also have a full bar and 28 taps that you can pour yourself. Plenty of local beers and cider too. They are planning to have live bands as well in the future. A+ ... great addition to Frederick!

Extremely comfortable reclining heated seats, easy to curl up next to your partner even though the arm rests dont lift. Picture quality and brightness were superb! Sounds rivaled some of the best theaters in the area.Prices on concessions were about what youd expect from a normal chain theater. Same with ticket prices being $16. They arent offering fountain drinks currently, but have bottled drinks for 5 bucks a pop (pun intended). Some of their food items arent available yet, but they have plenty of popcorn and candy to satisfy.The location is HUGE and I cannot wait to see what they might do with all the extra space. I could honestly only recommend a few trashcans in the common area, but definitely outside the front door. As a smoker, I hate leaving my butts on the ground and was disappointed when I saw a huge pile of them by the fire exits in the front section and nowhere to put mine out. I ended up stashing it outside the entrance and gathered it back after the movie to take to my car ashtray.All in all, amazing experience. Seats being the real seller behind the ticket prices.

Checked this out on a dreary Sunday. What a great addition to Frederick.Industrial look, minimal decor which is welcome over the theaters with too many ads, arcade games and blaring music. I didnt have to suffer from too many trailers before i watched my film.The seats were amazing. Worth the $14 ticket for a heated, adjustable chair to relax in for 2 hours. The employees were all cheerful and helpful. The beer bar was so cool. A selection of beers with descriptions and alcohol content was really helpful. And value priced. Spent far less than going to a brewery and the equivalent of a 6 pack for 3 16 ounce beers.So glad they came to our area!

Great new place. I arrived early and was recommended by Emberly and Jonathan to try a drink called the Castaway. It was a beautiful blue color with cherries. Wonderful presentation and conversation and tasted great. I took a second one into the theater to drink while watching the movie. Very refreshing! Choosing from the nice candy selection was next. Theres also a nice selection of food being offered. New heated seats that leaned way back for great comfort and a great view. Banging sound system and very affordable ticket prices. For the real movie fan classic Alfred Hitchcock is also being offered. Come see your favorites on the big screen. Plenty of variety in movie choices here and plenty of room in this place for everyone.

Easy the nicest and cleanest theater i can remember going to. The seats were comfortable and the screens and sound were top notch. I actually want to go to a movie theater again.

Friendly staff and several food options. Lovely smaller theaters, with large comfy heated powered leather seats.Bar has several cocktails and is able to make custom drinks. While I am not a fan of beer they have a large selection, with a self pouring system that seemed very advanced.I plan on going back to try more of the menu and have another drink while I enjoy a movie in comfort.

Awesome place. Beer wall...need I say more? Seats are awesome and I love that the theaters are smaller than most. Plus they allow for slight social distancing when you buy your tickets (you pick your seat and they leave a seat empty between parties). Warning though...that is not 6 feet so you will want 2 seats between you and the next party.

This place is amazing! Brand new everything. Unique CONEX van theme throughout. Plenty of room to social distance. Self serve beer on tap, self serve movie tickets, creative mixed drinks, delicious unique food choices, the usual candy and popcorn selection with real butter for die hards. Fully staffed with young, helpful staff.Wonderful addition to an already amazing city. Bravo to the owners!

I went there twice with my 2 toddler girls. They enjoyed the place . We will be back soon. They just dont have a large variety of movies. Not yet . I love it though.

The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere really does make you forget youre in a movie theater. I would definitely recommend trying their food. Its to die for. Went to see Come Play, and was comfortable the entire time. Definitely would see more movies here!

4.75 stars! Spacious, safe (security on premises to monitor parking lots), and COVID-19 conscious. Heated recliner seats were awesome. We only had traditional movie theater snacks - popcorn, candy, soda - did not try any of the food or alcohol options. - 1/4 star because only bathrooms we saw are at the very front of the theater, a long long walk and way too far to send even older children / pre-teens together in a pair or small group.

A new favorite for our family! It’s hard to beat a place that offers a bar, interesting food choices and heated, reclining seats. We keep coming back and are thrilled to see this company making use of the old mall.

Great experience! I have been wishing that Frederick had a a less expensive theater ever since the old Holiday Cinemas closed down, but this one is honestly nicer than the Regal Cinemas across town! Everything was super clean, with friendly employees and a great set up for watching (automated reclining seats!). Not to mention that they have free refills on popcorn, a full service bar, and tickets only cost $5 a piece. I will definitely be back to watch more classics on the big screen; Raiders of the Lost Ark was incredible even after having seen it a million times on home video.

Super spacious, super nice service, and the food portions were big.We accidentally bought 5 tickets instead of 6 and they were able to help us sort this out. The seats recline, have heaters and are comfortable.Great first experience

I have been to upscale movie theaters in majo metropolitan areas; I never thought that we would have something comparable in Frederick! The seats are heated, fully recline, and have ample space. The concession stand goes beyond popcorn and candy (though they have those as well) to offer food that I would seek out without the film (try the brie grilled cheese!). The full bar is also a nice touch, with signature cocktails paired to the films: I ordered a Wakanda Forever to go with *Black Panther*, and this locally-sourced drink (Tenth Ward Distillery) was delicious. We will definitely be going to the movies again soon! (Last point: the staff did a fantastic job with cleaning, mask wearing, and all the other safety measures that one would expect--they made a safe and comfortable environment for all us moviegoers.)

It felt like lots of effort was made to keep the experience safe and healthy. Obviously newly renovated. Very clean. Great roomy reclining chairs with heat options. Plenty of room. Alcoholic drinks available. Really enjoyed relaxing at tables in lobby after the show. Excellent experience. Will return.

Best theatre hands down! Clean. Seats are sooo comfy. Lots of space. I waa in full reclined and didnt have to move back up when someone passed by. Plenty of space. Chairs are leather and large. Service was great. The hike from main entrance to the front is long so plan to be on time. Its not a negative but important to know. Great theatre.

Me and my family went their for my birthday it was awesome people at the counter we’re nice from what I could tell and it’s affordable (if you don’t have a big family or big group a friends) and I like the fact that they sometimes show classics

So much more than pleasantly surprised. Its great to have a second theatre again most importantly. The theatres are small enough to not be in there with a ton of people, lots of leg room, SUPER comfortable seats. Plus theres a bar! Yes please!

Great little theatre. Very clean and safe during COVID.The seats are fantastic.My only recommendation would be to have cheese cups for the popcorn. This is by far the nicest movie theatre in Frederick.

Being a born and raised Fredericktonian, I remember the Frederick Towne Mall in its heyday and the Hoyts theater well. I really appreciated the nod to it during the previews. Warehouse Cinemas did not disappoint and rather exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean, the staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable for such a luxurious theater. The seats were even better than my couch, the heated option is amazing! I highly recommend this theater, even during COVID-19, I felt very safe. Come support these guys, you wont regret it!

Heated leather reclining seats!!! The place is very clean, they clean all seats between movies. I havent had the food but the snacks were reasonably priced. LOVE that they are showing retro movies

I was elated to get back to the cinema after they closed for Covid19 lockdown! This is a sort of cutting edge type of modified cinema experience. The 28 taps are automated and soon to be self served. The foods beyond traditional concessions are limited for the time being, but therell be quite a selection. The seats are very comfortable recliners. I truly had a good time. Ill be back!

My first experience here- very disappointed with the food and drink concept - you have to get up everytime you want a drink or munchies - for what you pay their should be table service. We got there for 5:20 show- by 6:15 bar was closed- bartender seemed miserable with no knowledge of what an import beer is and from the kitchen, pizza wasnt cooked enough- all 4 of them. The other help was great and the seats very comfortable.

As long as you keep showing classic movies for 5 bucks Ill gladly pay the 10 bucks for blue moons.Comfy heated seats, amazing sound, very clean.My only gripe is the bathrooms are so far away, lol. Good thing Ive seen most of these movies or I might miss something.It would be a shame to lose a theatre like this so everyone should try to support it.I would be down for subscription service as well.

If you enter the building around the back where the old entrance was, youll be closer to the venue. They have a bunch of computer kiosks to purchase tickets. Select movie, choose seat and enter your credit card. I dont know what the prices of movies are in the evening but the afternoon they were $5.00! $5.00 for leather like electric, heated reclining seats and a full screen of movies with fancy sound?!? Yes! Thanks very much. I saw Nightmare on Elm Street (I havent seen it before..Johnny Depp?!?). Then I stuck around to see Labyrinth, one of my favorite movies! David Bowie is so missed. It was really good and combined with the seats, outstanding. Food? Yes, I ordered a $14.00 sandwich. It was a fancy grilled cheese with bacon and chicken and chips. I figured I could order something more substantial since tickets were inexpensive. Got a bottled water. They have a whole bank of beer dispensers. You pay for a plastic card putting on how much you want to spend. Pick the beer you want, insert the card and pour! The money is taken off the card! The bathroom offers handsfree soap and water and that super windy dryer to dry hands..no paper! All in all it was a great experience.

I was an awe when I heard that Frederick was releasing a new movie theater. From the old Hoyt cinemas now coming in as warehouse cinemas, I was thrilled. This might be the cleanest movie theater I have ever been in as well as the most courteous staff and best seating options in the area. You would assume during Covid this place would be less packed, but on the opening night of the first movie, warehouse cinemas was prepared and held a large quantity of people safely and it did comfortably with out fail. I would think that warehouse cinemas will continue to give other movie theaters in the area a run for their money. Fantastic!

Really cool concept. The seats are amazing. I like the automated ticket system. Didnt try the bar but it looks really cool. Park in the back though unless you wanna walk a mile to where the theaters are lol

I saw The Broken Hearts Gallery and it was a great feel good movie! The cinema was great! The screen was so clear, sound was amazing,snacks were yummy and those recliners with the tilted screen was the best part! They were so comfortable and you can adjust the seat to whatever is most comfortable and they are heated! I will definitely be coming back. Only thing I would say was not the best thing was that there was only one family bathroom by the actual theaters. They have both a men’s and women’s near the concession though!

Fantastic theater. Heated seats, reclining leather chairs, and good food.Our experience was not that good however. We pre-ordered our seats online but another couple was sitting in them when we arrived, and they refused to move. We moved to an unoccupied location and another person sitting adjacent to us took his shoes off in the theater and put them in the chair next to us. The theater started smelling like feet which made it hard to eat the food we ordered. Not the theaters fault, but still an unpleasant time.

Maryland needs more Warehouse Cinema.TL;DR - Very fun indie theater, has alcohol, isn’t a chain. Prices are no better or worse than chain theatersWe went on Sunday to see Jurassic Park and I fell in love with this theater.It’s not a chain, it’s a brand new, independent theater. Fun!The theaters themselves have the classic theater seating, rather than stadium seating. Some will find this annoying, and they do both have their strengths and weaknesses, but I find it a refreshing change.They’ve got a bar, as well as essentially a small beer garden in their lobby area. Alcohol and movies are a perfect combination.They also have a far more unique and interesting concession menu than other theaters, with flatbread pizzas, fried Oreos, onion rings, and obviously popcorn and soda. (Free refills on those last two) Now unfortunately it’s still a movie theater, so the prices are still movie theater prices. For me though, the fact that they’re an independent theater, and have such a wide offering, makeup for that.Jurassic Park was far better than I’d remembered it being on the big screen. The surround sound was immersive, the screen had amazing color accuracy and detail, and the recliners were very comfortable. They even had mini-trays attached, for your food and drink, and the recliners have seat warmers!The only thing I could possibly ask of this theater is to keep acting like an independent theater. Give us the big new movies, but also options you can’t find in the chains! I personally would kill to be able to watch the Presidential debates in a movie theater setting, as I was able to in 2016. They would, in fact, be the only theater I can find in a wide radius to do so, and I’d gladly drive back to visit all the way from Howard County if they did.If they feel like screening Airplane! Or the Dark Knight, too, I wouldn’t complain one bit. Just as long as I get my popcorn!

We came to Warehouse to see hocus pocus. The staff were super nice and helpful. The food was excellent. I had the brie cheese sandwich with chicken. the theater was very nice and clean. I cant wait to go back. the food did not take long to come out and the quality was superb.

The first time I came to warehouse cinemas was on a Thursday night with my mother to watch bad moms and we had a good time sitting in the back row reclined in our seats while eating popcorn and my mom loved the alcholic drinks. Id recommend coming to warehouse cinemas early to get tickets by the register or order online to get into the theatre early because it is worth the $3 booking fee. Two $5 tickets plus $3 is the same price for one regal cinemas ticket. I believe warehouse cinemas will be a flagship to restart the Frederick town mall after 12 years of neglect.

Love the free popcorn refills, the heated reclining seats are a plus, and the wall of alcohol just completes it. A variety of snacks, food, and other beverages.

I was been there on Friday August 7th, 2020 at Warehouse Cinemas 10 at District 40 Entertainment Center at Golden Mile US Rt. 40 area.

Drinks and food were overpriced. Movie started at 5:20. Bar closed at 6 pm. Couldn’t get a second round of drinks and wasn’t warned the bar would be closing so early when we got our first drink. Bartender was very incompetent and was not helpful in deciding what drink to get. Probably will not be back. Way too overpriced for the experience we got.
