SUCH an amazing place!! I didn’t eat here but the price is great! Only $11 and you can play as much and as long as you want (until they close, of course). Over 90 games including skee-ball, air hockey, pinball, Pac-Man, Galaga, Tron(!), and a ton of other ones I don’t even know how to play. And the rooftop is beautiful at night. Highly highly recommend!!

We had an absolute blast! Took my wife and two daughters with boyfriends in tow and played almost every single game they had. They had all of the classic games including gauntlet! 15 or so pinball machines, skee ball and air hockey with a smattering of newer shooters as well. They serve a wide variety of IPA beers and other adult beverages. U drank the mead which i loved. For 11 dollars we got every pennys worth and some. We will definitely be back. Heads up though it goes 21 and over after 9pm so if u have teens make sure you get there with plenty of time to play.

Fun place! Its so easy to spend a few hours playing and not notice how long youve been there. Plenty of pinball and arcade games to play. Fun for kids and adults. First time going there but we will definitely be back!

Very fun, ranged from older games like super mario brothers all the way to racing games like initial D. Its kid friendly and adult friendly, it includes adult and kid drinks so everyone is satisfied. I personally think its a very nice, fun, cheap place

Great craft beer on tap. Kid friendly till 9 then its 21 and up. Cant beat the door cover price for the amount fun you will have. Cant wait to go back and challenge my friends to a friendly duel

It was good, but I was really disappointed when they got rid of their 1 and only SNK machine. They seriously need to get some SNK/Neo Geo arcade machines there, like at least 3 if them.

Visited for the first time for Tuesday Night Fights. Great space with tons of great classic cabinets. The beer selection is crazy, and the upstairs patio bar and back yard look like theyll be a real treat in spring and fall. 100% worth the drive into Ft. Worth.

Fun arcade with lots of games to play. They all seemed to be well maintained and work correctly. I didnt try any food but I was recommended peanut butter whiskey from the bartender and it was delicious. I didnt even need a back. Overall I had a good time with my wife and our baby. She liked all the flashing lights and we showed her pinball.

Good but not great. The Arlington location is better, faster service and better games. Still not bad, it beats the Black Dog Pizza Arcade. The roof top patio is free and terrific. 5 stars for the patio...otherwise this is a 4 star location.

This is a great place. Lots of beer, lots of games. Louder than I like but way quieter than a typical bar. They have some food, didnt try any. Needs to be open later. Overall we had a great time and will be going back.

Super clean environment. The options of beer are vast and change every once in a while. All local brewers, from the DFW area. Games are so retro and nostalgic. If you love the 80s, this is the place to be. Just pay the small fee at the door, and unlimited games away. Lets not forget the food - kitchen is open till late, and willing to make slight alterations if asked and able.

Best place to have a drink and re-live your childhood and replay some classic arcade games. Best part about these Arcade machines you dont need a pile of quarters. Just tap start and when game over and ask to continue just hit Start button again and play for free, Hint free play. Just pay a small fee at the door and play all you want.

Really nice location. Restaurant area indoors is a little cramped but the rooftop bar is spacious you are just at the mercy of weather elements but the view is great. Good selection of retro games but it can get pretty cramped and hot depending how busy it is. I didnt eat here but I can talk about the games. killer queen is a great group game and they have quite a few fighting ones. Limited vehicle games but quite a few pinball machines.

Perfect date night and/or afternoon family outing! They have an excellent wine and cider selection which is great because Im gluten intolerant. Bar staff is friendly and great selection of games.Its even close by to this cute coffee shop! What more could you ask for?

If you want to take a step back into the 80s and 90s this is the place to go. Super fun atmosphere with every type of arcade imaginable. My friends and I stumbled upon this place heading to the Rahr Brewery. We ended up skipping out on Rahr and spending about 6 hours here. Countless vintage arcade games that all work. They also have some of the newest pinball machines by Stern, Jersey Jack Pinball, and Spooky Pinball. It’s about $10 to get but every game is on free play, so it’s endless fun without feeding the arcade machines all your coin. It will be the best $10 you spend all year I promise you that.

Had my 50th Birthday party there. Had a table reserved. Great drinks, some were invented by the bar staff. Not as big as the Arlington one. The do have a bar on the deck but it was a little cold that night. Fun times were had by all!

Going there at least once a week since the soft open great selection of drafts. the upstairs bar seems to get the short end of the stick when it come to the good beer selection. Every game problem I have noticed does get fixed within a few hours if not definitely by next time I visit. Staff does still need to be more organized and well aware of everything going on, but seems to get better as time progresses. Its a great place to escape and unwind everyday life the view from the rooftop patio is amazing great selection of rare truly Authentic retro arcade experience. I suggest taking a date a group of friends as most of the games are the multiplayer games

The best arcade in the country comes to Fort Worth and spares no expense. This is the best opening all original arcade lineup of any Free Play. 25 taps for those that want a craft drink selection. A good menu good enough to look forward to as the first hour of pinball slips into the third. A rooftop view of Downtown Ft. Worth and wow. Just wow.

Great little roof top bar. Needs live music but has the 80s playing from inside Free Play.

I absolutely adore FreePlay and so happy to have this location closer to home! Game selection rotates, food is delish, so many drink options (alcohol & non). Employees are great. The bartender, Vern, is the bestest! Fast, fun, knowledgeable and deserves all the tips! Great family fun or a night out. Wish there was a bit more room for more games.

I am literally giving this place 4 stars. Would of been 5 stars but their napkin dispenser in the ladies bathroom was too high to reach.Along with their games, this place has a large variety of liquors and drinks. Friendly and hard working and helpful staff members.

Had an awesome time here. Went three times last weekend.BUT My food was cold and had been sitting at the window for an hour because my buzzer thing was apparently dead and no one bothered to come look for me. That was a bummer and kind of a rip off but the cold sandwich was still fine. The kitchen only had one other ticket so no one cared and the bartenders response was “oh bummer”. But the drinks are priced well, the games are 99% awesome, and we had a blast.Couple suggestions:Trash cansHand sanitizerExpo or a manager keeping an eye on the kitchenI’ll be back for another chance at your menu.

Fun and entertaining very inexpensive. Great atmosphere felt like i was knocked right back into the arcade days when you walk to the back. Definitely worth it.

Great selection of retro and newish games bar selection could be slightly wider but overall a fantastic time for adults/kids who appreciate old school in person gaming.

Authentic to the bone. Clean like Grandmas kitchen floor. It has the one game I need in my life right now, and even if they didnt they have a hundred others that can fill the hole in my soul that measures decades wide.

I was skeptical at first, but this place is awesome. Its a whirlwind of lights, sounds, and retro games Ive always wanted to try.

First time coming here was when I was invited to Tuesday Night Fights.Thankfully Free Play Ft. Worth continues the awesome tradition if having Street Fighter 2 on authentic japanese cabs. The only arcades that seem to care about true fighting games is Free Play!

Great selection of games from my childhood, close to my house, 10 bucks all you can play can’t be beat, and everyone is super nice here! I loved the Arlington location, this one is just as good! I only wish they had time crisis, but we can’t have everything we want haha.

Awesome! We took our daughter there for her 18th birthday with some friends. They had a blast!

Maybe this location will improve. First let me say I love freeplay and have been to all locations but mostly go to Arlington and Denton. I have been looking forward to this location opening but after my visit after an hour I was ready to leave. I counted 8 total machines that where not working but the cocktail tables which I like I see issues. These at this location where some of the loved classics but there where always people sitting at them and they where not even playing them but using them as tables for eating bar food. If they where drinking and playing it would been ok but they where not playing as there was a pizza in the middle of the units. After 30 minutes another party was using them in a similar way. Maybe in time some adjustments can be made and it will rate better for me but Arlington beats it for know.

This place is not off to a great start. Half the pinball machines are broken or in need of maintenance and the bar staff have no direction. Could be a great place if it maybe had management.

This place is pretty cool and nostalgia, however the bartenders are rude as ever. If you ask a simple question and they act like its the biggest inconvenience in the world to answer you. Customer service is really lacking sadly.

Really chill/relaxed atmosphere, but wouldve given 5 stars had they been serving food still. We had gotten there around midnight.

Horrible customer service, employee was very short with me the first time in. The second time was informed that nobody under 21 was allowed in after 10. Can’t even find a phone number anywhere on Facebook site or on website. Very disappointed.

I got to play a tournament the opening week in Super Street Fighter II Turbo & had a blast. I enjoyed the ST cab setup being head to head & wish FP Denton had some head to head configs as well!11/10 will return. I like the layout & upstairs bar/deck too! The area around FP is extremely nice too.

Opened 3 weeks ago and already a great lineup of games. Seems a little smaller than the others but plenty of variety none the less.
