So. Very. Confusing! I first drive to the old course which they ended up reopening. Then got pointed to the corridor drive. I couldnt find hole #1. I found hole #11 whos basket said hole #1. One hole was across a bridge, but nothing clarified that. Mannys if the holes required you to walk through the fairway of the next hole to get to its tee box. The tees were either a puddle, mud, or must concrete. Not great to play after a rain. Which, I did. However, once I had that figured out it ended up fun to play. Highly technical. Everything in UDisc said it was 3 par. They are tight and tough 3 pars. Im looking forward to playing it again in dry conditions.
Really fun spot to spend time with loved ones or by yourself. Really good parking too. Plenty of trees to provide shade and really amazing observation points of the river. Once you get a bit further down towards the North Observation point it gets quieter from the sounds of cars.
Great bike trails here. Two loops. East - very technical. West - nice and easy flow.
Wonderful, very large park. Hike and bike trail goes for miles, through natural areas, but is all paved. And it connects to Trinity Trail hike and bike trails, so you can go even further. Park has baseball fields, two large dog parks (for smaller dogs and for large dogs), soccer fields, picnic areas, and lots of porta-potties. Free parking, but not a lot of it near the soccer fields, so people park along the road when full.
Great trail system. Great fields, and fort woof is a nice addition. If you want a grill, be sure to go to the south side of the park. Be wary of the homeless camps, although the people seem only to want to be left alone and are not threatening.
Wonderful large park. Lots of green space, ball fields, a great hike and bike trail that connects to trails along the Trinity River and east toward 820. Porta potties at several locations.
Great for a city park. Good paved hike, with tall shady trees and river view. Two boardwalks. North side is bigger and better
Could not believe the FW Parks Dept had NOT Cleaned the Parking since a prior Adults Games (this was a Thurs night). Looks really bad when HS Players show up to this and have to watch where they drive! And lines on grass fields on the North Entrance were NON EXISTENT!Then again last year for Nolan Catholics Tour there was no TP in any portable for am games!!! Moms were saving the day for many.
Very peaceful. Plenty of room lots of trails and sidewalks and fishing in the trinity river. Also a nice dog park, baseball and soccer fields Plenty of parking space.
I love the mountain biking trails here. I started to go here more often than River legacy because of that.
Beautiful walking trails, giant dog park, baseball and soccer fields, on and off road bike trails, observation decks, Frisbee golf, and fishing. This park has it all!
Lots of trees. Great place to play during Summer. Kind of hard to find hole markers, even with using GPS. But, other than that, a great place! Looking forward to playing it again.
The park is big, clean, got fresh water for dogs, good illumination, the only thing I dont like is the people go to practice football park his cars in the street and block the street to transit
Love that there was a option to bring my small dog in lto the large dog area. One of the only ones out there.
They have separate dog runs large dogs small dogs plenty of room training areas
I go regularly, primarily for the dog park. I always enjoy the people I meet there, and their well-looked-after animal companions as well!
My favorite bike paths! So much fun. Plus disk golf & other sporting fields.
To me the food was excellent. The only reason I didnt give a 5 Star was because they did not accept debit or credit cards other than that the service was good
Very nice biking/walking trails. Nice scenery.
Great dog park! Be watchful of recent weather cause it can be very muddy for 3-4 days after rains
Love the MTB trails, but there soccer and softball fields and a disc golf course.
The mountain bike trails are a lot of fun, and very challenging. The disc golf course is also a lot of fun. Both have plenty of shade for these hot summer days. Enjoy!
Best mountain bike trail in FW for lightweights like me, but still some pretty advanced feature options for the advanced folks. 95% shaded trail! Connected to Trinity Trails.
Mountain bike trails and running trails are very nice. My doggies love the dog park. Most of all, I love the large trees all along the trails.
One of my top favorite MTB trails around DFW. Love the challenging East side and the wooden features on the West side. Also lots of flowy sections! You can tell the people working on the trail development have put a ton of effort. Check it out, wont disappoint!
Large park with bike trail, frisbee (disc) golf course, hiking trails, cookout pavilions, soccer fields and more along the Trinity river west fork. Plenty of shade on the trails to keep cool in the summer.
Plenty of space and fort woof for the dogs. Download the trinity trails app
They have added a bike trail with several ramps. Looks like the Bicycling community are really enjoying it and i as well enjoyed seeing happy faces and being close to nature
First time with my wife and dog Gizmoand well all had a great time
I would have named it Getaway Park, because its a nice getaway from Suburbia.
They have a great mountain bike trail and dog park.
One of the best local disc golf spots
Beautifully kept Park.We shouldve so proud.
Love this local park! Great for beginners and a ton of new features if you like to send it!
We take our dog to the dog park here, Fort Woof. Its usually pretty clean and a nice facility.
Nice fields. The atmosphere is always amazing
Nice urban oasis with multiple services and users.
Jurrasic Park lol. Love it.
I do believe you need a bigger sign for small dogs and bigger my boxer dachshund mix is 35 lbs of pure muscle and holds her own with her german shepherd sister needing her for moral support but I saw a woman bringing her 1 to maybe 2lb dogs in the large dog area getting upset when a large dog was playing normal but to rough for her breeds. I know its common sense but some people are dense.
Perfect place for learning how to mountain bike. Starts off easy and progressively gets harder.
Love the trails here. West side for fun, East side for a workout.
Mountain bike trails are great and for all level of riders.
Great disc golf park and biking trails.
Peaceful, clean, save, beautiful.
My daughter had a soccer scrimmage here. The fields are turf & everything was good, but the only bathrooms are port-o-potties that are pretty much in the parking lot!
Good place walk in town. Mostly quiet from the highway
MTB trails are fun and well maintained!
Has a beautiful, shaded disc golf course for during the summer.
Just started going back to gateway after the rains destroyed it in 2015. The mountain bike trail is better than ever and disk golf seems to have expanded as well.
Great disc golf course!
I was expecting a fabulous park for our softball weekend considering the website makes it appear that way. It’s a dump. It’s not well-maintained at all, and the softball fields were mediocre at best. The best thing going for them is working scoreboards. The complex is so poorly laid out that one has to walk to get to any usable bathrooms, and then there’s only one sink with no soap. The concession stand was slow and out of most items early in the day. I don’t get the hype.
I love Fort Woof Dog Park within Gateway. Its always clean and the dogs are friendly! I dislike the crowded roads we have to drive through because of the soccer field attendance! And that one time a kid picked my dog Daisy up and dropped her!
Lots of space for kids to play and have big family gatherings!
One of the better parks Ive been to. Cant wait for everything to open back up so I can take my pups to the dog park
Tree lined paved trail that winds along the Trinity River. Easy to get to.
Its a good location under a lot of construction at this time. Because of the covid they have taken down the disc golf. I would give it another year before Id add another star
Nice place to go Mt bike riding.
Fort Worths best kept secret . Great park, best n town as far ws trails and size.
I really like it people were nice
Great park. I play soccer there every Sunday.
Great little disc golf course and bike trails
Beginner to intermediate mtb trails very convenient and nice rides
Here working on a movie set. Its a great big open space that I completely forgot existed. Tons of pecan trees around the perimeter. Someone should gather up those nuts and make some pies. Be a great way to spend an afternoon with younger kids.
A wonderful place to exercise. Beutiful views. Nice people.
Pretty cool facility! Turf fields were in great shape, despite hours of rain. Covered seating for spectators. But... No benches for my team & portalets, rather than an actual restroom.
The new soccer fields are very nice. They just need more bleachers.
Good place for golf just dont forget your insect repellent.
Nice park and fields well maintained.
I love riding all the way to Gateway Park from either Bryant Irvin or Benbrook. If I dont get to ride through Bernie Park I feel like my right is incomplete. Its beautiful and peaceful. I wish they would keep up with the Fallen trees a little bit better though. Usually takes about a week to get them picked up and sometimes it makes it impossible to go through. And I really like going all the way through. I actually go past Gateway Park and end up in Arlington or on the skirts of.
Went to watch my niece play, was lovely proud of my girl
The FWMBA mountain bike trail here is awesome. Some intense climbs and good descents, and a sweet new jump line with a drop that gaps a different part of the trail. Also has several cool new wooden features and dirt jumps scattered around. Its one of my favorite places to ride now!
PICK UP YO TRASH PEOPLE. Beautiful getaway
Good softball fields, love that they have shaded bleachers
While at a conference, our accommodations limited the ability for our two pups to move around. Answer, the dog park here. So much room for dogs of all sizes to run and play, along with agility courses. Plenty of water stations and trash receptacles. My dogs had a great time there as did I.
This is a beautiful park and it has great amenities.
Perfect place for mountain biking riding trails walks
My dogs love walking here its quiet and peaceful
Best mountain biking trails I’ve ever been on. Lots of wooden jumps and burms.
I love their walking trails and River. I love the scenery and how they have a great variety of birds.
The concession stand need to be a little more friendly and not ask is that all averytime I was ordering, felt like i was being rushed and it sad that the tournament was cancelled due to rain, alot of other location took the time to work on their fields and got them ready and playable. .. They were just delayed, is sad to pay all that money and not be able to finish. Just my 2 cents not trying to insult or disrespect anyone,
Nice place to eat lunch
Nice quiet place to think
Gateway park is fantastic trail for mountain biking. It has a little bit of everything. Flowing singletrack, hills and man made features. The west side is easier and the east is more advanced. Get out there and check it out.
Not handicap friendly. Nasty bathrooms. Trash cans overflowing in park. Playing fields were ok.
Great mountain bike track. Kids had a great time.
Fantastic doggie park within a park! Large, spacious off the leash areas separated into big and little furry friend parks so that all can feel at ease and run and play! Good job, Fort Worth!!
Cross country meet location for 5K cross country running event. Nicely maintained facility and great layout for a low to medium challenge course. Plenty of security and easy access.
Its a nice park BIG,but for me it seems a little TOO isolated. I like to go to a park where I see people and not feel like Im the only one there. If you want to be alone, this is a good place be.It does feel peaceful.
Love this course. Go play it.
Plenty of parking and great fields. But the concession stand is the star here. Great food, great prices.
Nice well kept soccer fields.
Nice turf fields. Portable toilets only. No water. No concessions. Police presence.
Nice and peaceful in the morning
Need more parking in the back
Seems like ok park, seems like the trash cans get missed alot, lots of bike trails an a technical 18 hole disc golf course
Softball tournament was fun.
