This is a nice part to plan activities with your family there is a pavilion if you want to have a small celebration. A place for the kids to play. There is a field for activity game such as softball baseball soccer.

Great little place to explore not very kid friendly lots of glass and dangerous drops but fun to explore

I can appreciate recent efforts by the city to make the park safer. However, the lake itself is unkept. Its definitely a catch and release type of place. A) because the lake is contaminated and B) its against the law. The surrounding area is relatively quiet though, minus the occasion train. Just leave by dusk.

A great place for me to clear my mind and let my kids enjoy some time.

Dont come to this park at all its not a great place to bring the kids and pets.there is always a dam truck met at this place people burning out and doing donuts also people who doesnt seem to care at all because I always see trash everywhere around the park cant fish here because theres nothing besides trash and people clothes thats on the ground

It was full of trash very dirty u cannot take your kids for they might see something very inappropriate for kids people parkeddoing everything that they can get a room. No way I would ever go AGAIN!!

Park is very kid friendly, lake sadly isnt swimable and very dirty. people ride their horses here as well.

That place is haunted do not go there at 3.am.

As a neighbor of the park, I miss when I could go walk around the lake without all those trucks and sports cars driving around recklessly. The entrance to the park its supposed to be one way and those drivers dont respect that.

LAWLESS! Its a great little inner city lake with a park that just seems to be in the wrong neighborhood to be policed or maintained properly. My wife and I go fishing there but I would never take a child to that park. People are literally doing nonstop donuts with their cars and trucks in the parking lot. Its load, out of control, and nonstop! The police only show up at night fall. Its a shame, it could really be a beautiful place.

A wonderful place for largemouth bass fishing, this park is part of the Fort Worth stocking schedule. Beware the train rail - though it looks like you might just drive through, its Union Pacific property that is a scant few feet from the lakes north shore. The clientele varies, with some families at the playground, but there are a lot of car people smoking tires and being rowdy in the evenings and on weekends. I suggest scouting before you fish and be sure to park safely.

EXTREMELY DIRTY. Dreadful neighborhood. Draining water currently lots and lots of trash everywhere. Terrible place to bring kids I never feel safe at all there. If youre looking for a nice pond find somewhere else because this is a failed community lake. People doing drugs, donughts in the parking lot taking there trucks and bogging offroad. A Fun time for some, but I cant give this park anything but a scathing review. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!

No covered sitting areas. Everything is dirty brown such as the grass and water.No beatification ANYWHERE!

Stop and Relax your Mind... Small yet a calm place to smell the Roses...

The City of Fort Worth needs to drain the pond. It is very polluted with trash and who knows what. A lot of children play at this park baseball. But, it seems the city or people do not care at all. Every time I drive past this park graffiti is in the bathroom wall outside. Honestly, its a good park just not well taking care off.

*PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU VISIT. Assist the Homeless Dogs as they are companions aswell! They deserve to feel happiness just like us (humans). There are hundreds of Homeless Dogs dumped here in a suffering manner each year at Echo Lake. Please please please please help these innocent Dogs in every way and anyway you can!

Yuck. Trashy, poorly maintained park. Certainly has potential if anyone gave a hoot but overall a sad place. Dont take your children here.

Needs help from city to revamp the park.

Theres a lot of loitering and quite a bit of litter out here sometimes, not to mention a lot of crime. Its a simple park with a small lake and room for kids to run around (or to walk to dog). There arent very many amenities, if any at all, but I wasnt looking for anything in particular the two times Ive come here - I dont have dogs or kids. Parking should not be an issue either, its not a very crowded area. Just be careful of the live railroad track running parallel to the park if you do bring children and I would not recommend staying after dark out at this location due to the crime in the neighborhood.

Beware: this park is reportedly a dumping ground for humans that dump dogs here. Check the news for more info.

Found this place by accident. Nice place to park and read or eat lunch in car. Its near my job. Glad I found it. I parked right in front of lake. But be careful. Older teenage crowd speeds through burning rubber and driving crazy.

The abandoned incinerator here is really neat! Perfect destination for urban exploring with a group of friends....older than 18. This is NOT a place for kids. It is very dangerous inside the abandoned building, so explore at your own risk. Its fairly easy to explore and common sense to know what is dangerous or not, example: very high drops, holes in the ground, rooftops are worn and very old and very likely to cave in, you just need to watch your step and be very careful. Most of the building has been modified to make it safer and is mostly made of cement, so as long as you dont climb anything or climb to the rooftops, youll be fine. Overall, been here twice, both times in the day, never been at night, obviously that would be sketchy and dangerous, both times Ive been has been really cool! !

Nice little pond (not a lake). Theres a playground for the kids and also a pavilion for parties. Park well maintained by the city. Not well lighted at night.
