AJ was serious and intense, yet very knowledgeable and thorough!!! I highly recommend AJ!!! If you pass her class, you’ll have earned it!!

I took wilson and AJ and both were pretty thorough on instructions and information. They were prompt on email and message response. Would recommend.

We were very satisfied with your class.Wanted to share the following.This is what I wrote to Ms. AJ directly because I felt like some in the beginning of the class (gun range part) was being disrespectful, rude, judgmental, and assuming things wont go the right way and Not directly in her face, but among the other students:Thanks for all that you do Ms. AJ! The instructor (Black Female) was extremely rude and absolutely not fit to teach. No people skills what--so-ever!!! My wife and I were in the class for a total of 10 min and got up and left. Took our business elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !

Aj was a great teacher I was able to learn new stuff I didnt know. I do however have some advice to any who take the class.1. Park in the uhaul parking lot behind the range2. Do not ask questions that do not pertain to what you are learning at that moment3. DO NOT bring your weapons into the classroom you will be told to take them back to your car before class can start

RUDE OWNER!! Called to schedule classes and she had an attitude with me when i was just trying to get some help scheduling online, and she claims to have been the owner...Will refer everyone i know AWAY from this company!

I liked the class. AJ was energetic and had command of the room. I learned some things I didnt know and I appreciate how she stressed the dangers of having this type of license.One suggestion for AJ would be to be wary of all the what if questions that students in the class have. I think the best way to respond to some of these is to say, I dont know what will happen in that circumstance, each case is different and will be judged by the individual facts and circumstances.I read reviews about the class beforehand so I had seen where some folks were a bit surprised by AJs approach, etc., but I thought her instructions were crystal clear and if you pay attention in class, you will do well without any worry. I recommend the class. There is some distractions from the range that is adjacent to the classroom.

After seeing so many bad reviews it was no surprise that after I enrolled for a class months ago, I was told the class now has zero seats available and that I can no longer attend the class because of this glitch. Now Im being ignored by them when I ask when the next class will be available. I wish I paid more for a better organized business.

Buyers be aware!!!! Paid for the CHL as a gift to my girlfriend. She called wanting some info, they were rude and very unprofessional, told her to just get a refund. Look elsewhere for class, not worth being treated that way for info.

I completely agree with Widowmaker. Rude owner; truculent responses to your questions and does not treat your questions as legitimate. Im not going there.

Its beyond me how anyone could recommend this class. There is no way you can learn anything in such a hostile classroom setting. AJ was caustic! We walked out before the class even began. I was not going to allow her to abuse me for 6hours. Go anywhere else be here.

I understand the reviews about the owner being rude and I get how that can be frustrating, but what is most important to me in a course like this is gun safety and instructor competence; this course had neither.First, I will address my issue with the instructor -- She taught her class on a personal level, not on a professional level. She taught her interpretation of the law and not how the law was actually written and meant to be followed. However, my biggest issue with the instructor was her irresponsible behavior with her own firearm. The instructor open-carried in the class, and there is nothing wrong with that, but at one point she unholstered her loaded firearm, waved the muzzle towards the class then placed it on the table and walked away from it. If you know anything about handling a firearm, I dont need to explain how terribly wrong and dangerous that is, but that leads me into my next issue -- Encouraged gun safety was OBSOLETE. At one point before our time out on the range, we were told to go to our vehicles and grab our firearms. Once everyone had their firearms, we stood in a waiting room while our instructor and her assistant were on the range preforming the shooting test this left everyone to their own devices... Which was horrifying. I had my firearm secured in a carrying case while a good majority of the students had their firearms out and unsecured. At one point, I inadvertently looked down the barrel of a gun; I turned around and was eye level with another students firearm. He had it raised in a room full of people. As I scanned the room I noticed firearms left unattended and husbands giving their wives instructions on how to handle and load a firearm. No joke, one of the women pulled the trigger on a revolver her husband rented for her, now luckily for all of us in this room, it was unloaded, but that was insane.There was ZERO concept of gun safety, muzzle control or treating every firearm as a loaded firearm. Not saying we should have been babysat, the instructions clearly stated that you should be proficient with handling a firearm and gun safety, but there was no one there to enforce said rules, which is disturbing and terribly ironic to me.I cannot in good conscious recommend this class to ANYONE. I wish there were more in depth reviews so that I could have avoided this place all together. But if you must go, just know that the instructors opinions are irrelevant, you must follow the law, period. Also, there will be a range fee of $23 if you got the class through Groupon.Best of luck to you!
