The selection of fish and corals are good, but other supplies are very limited. Last night was the first time Ive ever really felt comfortable at Elite Aquatics. I waited to see if there was a pattern before leaving a review. I want a reef tank, so Ive been visiting local shops and asking questions. Some are better than others at responding to newbies trying to spend wisely.The young man working last night is the first person to answer questions without acting annoyed. Most of the previous times, people were too busy or chatting to be very helpful. If you are experienced, this is probably a good place to go. If you are a newbie, go elsewhere.

I had been to every one in the area to find certain things to grow mine naturally, down to buying small fish(note to self-not again ) I’ve had so much FUN with my tank now and it’s only really getting started️️️️️️

Brad and the entire staff are so awesome and very knowledgeable. Brad is always willing to help and is very honest when doing so. He will not steer you wrong. If you have saltwater needs/wants this is definitely the place to go.

This place is truly a hidden gem. It is hidden on a back road off of Racetrack. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but go inside and be amazed by all the beautiful corals. They have several large frag tanks of coral along with smaller fish display tanks. They run sales through their Facebook page, so be sure to check it out.

Best place in Okaloosa County for coral hands down, HUGE selection and fantastic prices. Small but good fish selection too, along with live rock/inverts. Most of my coral came from here and so far ive had a 100% success rate. Staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jeff the owner is good people and Im happy that I have such a good shop and good support so close to home.

We are from Arkansas and were vacationing in Destin. We stopped by Elite Aquatics and we were super impressed by the knowledge of the staff, the beautiful tanks and the wide variety of corals. We purchased a nem, not an expensive one, and they went out of their way to accommodate us, since we still had a few days left of vacation and no way to take it with us. When we picked up the nem, they told us about their other store and of course we had to stop by on our way home. Again, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a variety of fish and corals. We purchased a toadstool and some snails before heading home. We have been to many salt water stores and this is by far the best overall experience we have ever had. I so wish they would open up a location here! Amazing prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff, wide variety of corals and fish, what more could you ask for? Thank you all for being an amazing company. I can see your company expanding beyond Florida as long as you keep doing what youre doing! Stop by if you get the chance. You wont be disappointed! You will leave with one of the best experiences! They are just amazing!

This is the best place to buy coral. They have the largest selection on the panhandle. The owner is the nicest guy you will meet and he has great deals on used equipment to save you money. The tanks are clean and all the fish he has are healthy and well taken care of. If you are in or near the area you must stop by. Check their Facebook before you go because they post when they will be closed for the day.

They have the best selection, best staff with a ton of knowledge of the hobby this place is going to take over for all coral connections they had hands down most selection then anyone near them Ive been to all and this is probably more then all the other shops corals put into theres plus with better selection of corals that all look really health. Overall I would highly recommend this place for anyone needed fish, coral, or supplies they got it all.

Im from out of town, and Elite sure went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly while selecting my order. Elite normally opens at 2, but Jeff came in early and had the doors open at 10am so that we could get our order on the way out of town. When we arrived, he had my order bagged up and ready to go, and even let me browse for a few other things from a shipment he had just received. I never felt like I was being rushed, and nobody was pushy at all in the entire process, everything went smoothly.The selection was plentiful and diverse, and all of the specimens were happy looking and well taken care of, things appear as if they inspect each and every piece for anything that needs attention, because I couldnt spot any flaws. Jeff proudly showed me his quarantine setup, which was reassuring, because I knew Id be bringing home a fish that was happy and healthy and well adjusted to his environment.The center of the place, and my favorite section, is the coral area. There was a well categorized selection of softies, SPS and LPS available, with so many colors I dont normally come across in my home town. Each piece I asked about came with a nifty description and pieces of care advice from Jeff and Alex, which to me was a great value-add; it shows that they care about what theyre selling, and they have an interest in the clients being happy even after they leave the store.All in all, Im considering driving down from Memphis just for the coral next time, vacation or not, the customer experience at this place is second to none, and the selection is awesome, and the prices are really fair too. I was told theyre going to be putting their stuff online soon, which I really look forward to so I can show my friends here in town.
