Had a fun time at Avalon State Park Beach, I felt safe there and basically I had the whole Beach to myself oh, its an interesting Beach where it was used as a training ground for Frogman in 1943 so you got to be careful of water hazards cement and steel if youre a surfer or diver other than that its a fun and beautiful

We absolutely loved it there! I am new to Florida and my son came to visit me from Texas . We had a beautiful day. It was not crowded and the park ranger was so nice when he let us know that the park and Beach would be closing.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to access the beach or stop have some lunch. Restroom facilities and a generally quiet boardwalk greet visitors! Average amount of spaces can fill up during peak hours, so come early!

Beautiful. Out of the way. $2 to park. Outside shower near the clean bathrooms. A few picnic tables under a pavilion. Very nice.

Love Avalon State Park. The drop off isnt as bad as the northern beaches. Water is generally pretty clear. Showers and restrooms are clean. Picnic table with covering is available. Please be sure to bring $2 and drop it in the payment box.

It was a little more secluded...Beach was beautiful. It was double red flagged bc of rough surf but my family had an amazing time today. Thank u nature and the people that keep it clean!

I really loved walking down this beach! Not crowded at all the day we went but to be fair it was during the week. We saw a manatee swimming asking the coast though! So cool! Highly recommend! Just one FYI, there is a $2 parking fee for this state park.

Nice, small clean beach. $2 payment station to use beach. Nice bathrooms. Sand is fine and easy on the feet to walk on, not too mich seaweed, water is clear blue. Very pretty area

Great place to easily get on the beach or sit in your car and watch the ocean. We picnic there often even when its cool and windy.

Great, peaceful beach, that isnt crowded! Pretty shells. No admission fee, just $2.00 for parking. Lots of waves, water very rough & choppy, not sure if its always like that. The only insects that bit me were ants, in the parking lot, no mosquitoes or midges. I went in early February. Please do not spread poison all over the ground to kill ants...Im just saying, there were no mosquitoes or midges which was very cool! Ill take ants over either one of them any day!

This is a beautiful beach, the water is very clean. Its quiet, you have to pay $2 to park.

Stopped while driving from Ft. Lauderdale to Cocoa Beach. Nice, quiet beach. Restrooms were clean.

This is an amazing place! Quiet and sucluded. This will always be one of our favorites. Its not to far of a drive from the city but well worth it. Way better than CoCoa beach or Daytona. Those are nasty! I never take my family there. Definitely check this place out. Its a true hidden gem.

Beautiful beach very clean. Plenty of room had a very exclusive feel even with other familys. Full shower house and great atmosphere. Respectful fishermen who stayed far away from swimmers. Limited parking.

Wow. What an amazing State Park if you wish to visit the beach. You pay $2 for parkingAnd have access to the beach, washrooms and change rooms. The beach was amazingly clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room on the beach to spread your stuff out and enjoy the sun. Water was calm and warm for this time of year.We were lucky enough to be on the beach when this group appears. They are releasing a sea turtle from the Florida Wildlife Conservation!! It was pretty cool!

Beautiful pull off! I love seeing the Atlantic Ocean! The beach was clean and the tides were ripping! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely perfect. Not crowded so you can relax. Worth the $2.00 parking is worth it. Guarded beach not usually my thing but this us nice. Ill go again no doubt

Great place to walk the beach.

Excellent and usually uncrowded beach. If the surf at the inlet is good it will be good here too and much less competition for the waves.No lifeguards but showers and restrooms. $2/car. Great deal.

Beautiful. Not crowded. Did not like the pit bull on the beach. It is not allowed but theres always those who cant follow rules.

Awesome place to take kids, especially at low tide. There is a sandbar between the beach that creates a pool between the shore and the ocean. It goes on for quite a long distance down the beach and is on average 2 feet deep. It gives kids and parents a little freedom because of the shallow pool they have to play in. Our new favorite beach!!!

Much quieter than many of the other beaches weve visited -- very few tourists, I genuinely believe most visitors to this beach are locals who just want to unwind. Also, you dont have to pay to park! Win-win!

Beautiful stretch of coastline. The bathrooms were clean and so were the grounds. The ranger that was there was very kind and knowledgeable of the history of the area. We had such a great time tonight. The only negative was the no-see-ums but thats just south Florida for you.

Its a beautiful place! But, unfortunately for safety reasons, as we still under the coranavirus problems etc.. the Park is locked.

This is a really pretty beach with very clean bathroom facilities and its usually not very crowded. I would caution anyone with children from visiting as the past 6 times Ive went there have been yellow flags up for rip currents. And the last time I went there was a yellow flag up when it clearly should have been red. The ocean here is not a joke and it seems to get worse in the afternoons. And even going out in ankle deep water has been enough to knock a 510 person flat on their face.

This park is awesome, but I dont want anybody to know about it. One of the best features of this park is that it is not well known and hardly anybody is there. We like to be able to enjoy the beach without the crowds. Mostly mature people are at this beach.

Avalon Beach State Park is my favorite beach walk. Usually not busy. So, I can walk for about a mile and see nothing but natural beauty on the ocean and the totally natural landscape between the ocean and A1A. There is more to the park on the West side of A1A but I havent checked it out yet.

Was able to get off the road, pay 2 bucks and take my shoes off to walk in the ocean. Nice quiet park. Worth a stop.

Nice easy uncrowded park..a respite from the pressure while on vacation. Kick back and enjoy the sand and quiet.

An okay place. Bathrooms werent very clean and smelled strongly of urine. Parking was adequate for a charge of $2 per day. Beach was nice. We picked up shells with the kids and also gathered some trash that had washed up. I would say this place is average for a FL state park.

Close to the water, public bathrooms, outside shower, VERY CLEAN PARK. Just one thing, really wish people would pay the two dollars and display there tag like the rest of us. Every little bit help this park and would like to keep it clean.

The beach is so quiet, with only very few people. Great place for shelling, relaxing and soaking up the sun. Definitely worth the drive from Orlando. Great place for photography. Water temperature was perfect!

This is our favorite beach!! The surfing and surf fishing is great. Bathrooms are clean and close by. Fun to beach comb for shells, sea glass and driftwood.

I love it. The sand is like sugar and you can walk out in the water a far distance without s sharp drop off. Get paddle boarding destination. And great people.
