We just had our wedding at Olde Hickory 2/15/2020 and it went perfectly! Bryan, Chef Werner, and the rest of the staff did an amazing job of set up, planning, and thought of things to get me through the wedding day that I hadnt even thought of. Most Brides cant say that their wedding was better than they had ever imagined, but Im lucky enough to say that it was everything and more! Olde Hickory doesnt do a lot of weddings, but they should because they did an amazing job! The staff and club members are super welcoming and friendly. Beautiful course but still challenging with SIX sets of tees. Could play it long or a more manageable distance to try different clubs. I had never seen ice towels before, but they hit the spot just after the turn on this hot August day.

I was very lucky that I know a person that lives on the golf course and was able to play this amazing private golf course. The Assistant Pro helped me out so much by booking me tee times at other courses because they were going to be closed for a week due to maintenance. This golf course is very solid. Solid greens, great layout, and a course that you can be rewarding but at the same time can cause issues if not hit in the right spots. If you can somehow get on Id recommend. Great practice facilities as well!

A fabulous Florida golfing community. Located just minutes from the SWF regional airport near Ft Meyers. Beautiful homes and a first class clubhouse. The golf course was well kept and playable from several tee distances. Gated community with beautiful grounds.

Apparently they have a new policy at the guard gate. My parents have lived at Olde Hickory for over 15 years and recently my wife and our children went to visit and they not only check the drivers license of the driver to make sure you are on the guest list they wanted the drivers license of each adult in the vehicle? Which is Ludacris! Keep in mind Ive known the guards for over 5 years some of them over 10 ? Im sure that made for real fun experience at Christmas! Another example of retired people who have nothing better to do than make up stupid rules because thats the little power that they have in their little gated Country Club. Just makes them look like fools! Other than that the grounds are kept nice and some of the people who live there smile and wave where as the rest look at you like why are you in my neighborhood. I pray to God that I never behave that way when Im that age. Terrible example for seniors to my children.
