Nice little meadows to have a picnic. The best time to visit is on a Sunday, when the main road, JFK Drive, is closed to cars. A great time to bring the family out to ride bikes or Rollerblade. Not many places to get a bite, best to buy something and bring it with you. Parking is always a challenge, especially near the museums. You can spend all day here exploring and just looking around. Safe in the day time but I would not venture out towards dusk.

What a hidden treasure! Clean, well-maintained park with friendly park goers. Basketball, workout area, baseball field, volleyball court, and GOLF! Plus theres lots of open areas and an awesome walking loop.

NICE PLACE TO B-BALL WITH THE KIDS N OTHERS. HAVE PARTIES OR GATHERINGS. A LITTLE WATER PARK FOR THE KIDS. LAID BACK

Good for exercising and fitness. Many shelters for outdoor fun and festivities. Big park to enjoy a beautiful day. Workout area as well. Big basketball court.

The park was lovely when we visited last year, but now it just looks unkempt and there is trash everywhere. The splash pad, our main attraction, is closed until spring. There are lots better parks in the area.

Cool little hang out spot for teens and kids. Good for short jogging in field or around the field. water area nearby...however its fenced off. There are plenty huge iguanas here btw....so if you dont like lizards in general, you may want to stay away or you may walk into one. They are all in the trees, on the ground etc...2-3 feet iguanas at times. Otherwise park seems nice and has a building where you can go in to use computer or vending machines, I think.

The recreation center was used for repast following a funeral the place was clean with accommodating facility I would strongly recommend it for any occasion everything went very smoothly and the catering was superb with excellent food everything fresh and hot liked it

Nice park for walking and exercising, lots of exercise apparatus, tennis courts and other places to play ball if you like exercising that way. I love it.

Grew up near by. Great outdoor basketball court. Very busy on most days, court is also covered. Clean park,safe and overall great place for picnics,events and play time.

I use to live near this park came back to see how wonderful its become. Love it!

I had my daughter a birthday party here and it was more than I expected. There was other parties going on out there and they had a DJ set up out there the water was on for the kids to play in and the cone was great. They had a car show going on out there or was so many nice cars with big rims nice paints it was nice. Everybody that came to the party said how they had such a wonderful time

On Sundays at the park the retired veteran show much love food music and great vibes to all.Goddis

Its been many years since I visited osswald Park. New amenities ball fields and recreation buildings I think. Now its run by the City of Ft. Lauderdale.

In this park is always a great park to unwind and relax

It cool for the kids, need to be cleaned up a lil. But it was fun for the.kids

Nice in the warm weather because of the splash pad. My sons can cool off without having to deal with the sand and traffic on the beach. The equipment is under a canopy which is always a plus. Restrooms are a bit far if there is a camp in session, and it seems like one or another of the water apparatuses is always not working. I visited recently and it seems like they have been repairing and upgrading so maybe it will move up to 5 stars!

Pretty Nice, my nephew was able to play catch on the baseball diamond with his uncle and meant the world to him.

Beautiful but no walking path

Need more security presence I saw two potential child abductors as well strange men watching children. I took my children home. They felt very uncomfortable. Other than that the park is wonderful.

The park ranger locked the bathroom doors during park hours.

Great park. Been going there for years to play basketball and now Im bringing my kids around to play at the playground.

Its actually not bad dor such a small park. It has a fitnesd center, splash pad, basketball court and field. It even has a place you can go walking. Its usually clean and not too busy. I only go there to entertain my toddle but it seems to be pretty good overall.
