Positive: The people no question about it. The bathroom was awful and Pluto TV was awful.

Stayed at the Reef. The room and space was nice enough, but it was the location that was great, three blocks to the beach!

Awesome experience. Great location. Grill available and also beach chairs and umbrellas for use. Restaurant was delicious. Dont expect the ritz. Its simplicity at its its finest

Weve been staying at nbvr hotels for about ten years now. We like having a small kitchen and being only a block or two from the beach. All the rooms are pleasantly remodeled. Any issues weve had have been fixed right away (like burnt out light bulbs etc).

Ok hotel close to the beach. They tried to make it look nice and modern (which it does at first glance) but if you stay there and look closer youll start to notice details.E.g. Bin in room was not emtied when we arrived, there was a hole in the front door where usually the spy lense sits (means people can look inside the room from outside), curtain cant be closed because AC is mounted under window so it gets hot since curtain blocks it, bathroom door didnt shut...The outside is very pretty and they have a lot of pools. Also they provide beach towels.Parking is an additional $10 per day.

Paid and reserved a specific room months in advance to get here and our room not be available AND their hot tub has been shut down and one of the pools. The room we have would be just as good but the hot tub out front has chains and locks on it says it doesnt pass state code along with the pool near by. There is still 2 other pools tho. The room we reserved was pool front with a screened in porch, perfect for a large family with small kids.

Great hotel if you need to relax after traveling. Loved the concrete floors in our room helped us cool off. Monique (who is amazing) told us our room wasnt ready yet but we could leave our luggage with her and recommended some good food places and places we could relax in the meantime. She called me to let me know our room was ready and when we came back she walked us to our room and we got a free upgraded room because the housekeeper never got around to cleaning our original room. Great service, had a relaxing good time. Check out was easy and Monique helped us print out our papers for our cruise. Thank you Monique!!!

Amazing place to stay, walk distance from the beach, friendly staff and very comfortable bedroom

Place is very close to the beach and has spacious rooms but room service is very bad they will only give you full service cleaning on tbe 3rd day of your stay and even that we didn’t get. Housekeeping is very rude and we weren’t getting any reffils on coffee pouches unless we ask for them. Office staff were very helpful and understanding but you can’t get much done since you never see the manager.

Dirtiest room ever! 3 of hair & dirt in shower& bathroom floor! Mens shavings on sink. Can hear everyone in halls and other rooms. Complained gave me 10% off, should have been no charge not close to $200 with parking. Should be negative stars.

The room was good seemed a bit empty, also I think it needs rugs, considering there is sand everywhere. Door rug, bed rug, bathroom rugs and front door stepping rug. We decided to change to the Auqua across the street which is a sister company of theres. Oh the outside if the resort is a great view. Loved it. The staff were amazing, personalities and approachability. Especially the beautiful Maggie, who apparently works at both. Over all the experience was great! Wsas giving for stars until I saw Maggie was there as well... lol

An incredible hidden gem right near the beach!

Great little hotel a block off the beach. Great service was upgraded to a better room since mine wasnt ready yet. Clerk help to print out papers for cruise during check out. Overall just a clean comfortable place to stay.

Stayed here with a friend for a couple of days the bed was only made with a sheet we were freezing we asked for towels the lady said we had to give them our dirty towels for new ones which is ridiculous. I asked for a blanket couldn’t get a blanket. Some hospitality

Our recent stay the North Beach Hotel was amazing! I have to admit I may be a little bias because I have stayed at the North Beach Village properties before, both at Tranquilo and at Royal Palms. We absolutely love this place! The staff is amazing, from Blanca at the Village Cafe and Andrew Paulson our reservation manager to everyone we had contact with, this boutique hotel was perfect. The location is one block in from the beach and it was walking walking distance to Los Olas and some really great restaurants. Our room was perfect too, we had a one bedroom king suite, it was the perfect size, a small kitchenette, living room, dining area, large bedroom and perfect bathroom with walk in shower. I highly recommend any of the North Beach Village properties not only because of the price, location but most importantly the staff. The only thing that was disappointing was we miss Steve Gonley, he was their ambassador, every time we would visit he would greet us with a huge smile, he remembered our names and treated us like we were part of the family. Rumor has it he relocated to NYC, I will have to look him up, he was a huge asset to North Beach Village and we miss him.

Fantastic! This place is super clean and the staff is amazing! I would like to thank Richard for going out of his way in a down poor to get my luggage. He was drenched and still smiling and very helpful! I highly recommend this establishment, I will be coming back here! :-)

The only thing good about our room was the bed.

My friend, who is handicapped, and I stayed at your resort in February. I was so pleased with the location, the suite, 104, was large, super clean and very well equipped. The only problem was there were no grab bars in the shower. The staff was fantastic!!!!!!! From the maintenance, cleaning, lawn people, to the desk staff! And the biggest kudos is to Darryl Fleming! Your personality was joyful (even with your broncitis) and you were always so very helpful! Thank you all and this was the BEST place ever! Will be back

I booked the hotel for my bachelorette this past weekend with my bridesmaids and from the moment I walked in that staff was amazing! Maggie welcomed us at the front desk and she was a sweetheart. She made us feel so welcomed and showed us our penthouse (which was way nicer then I expected). The penthouse was huge, rooms were spacious and the view was relaxing. When we started unpacking we noticed our A/C in the living room wasnt working and Tony came up switched out our A/C unit in no time! He was super kind and patient with us and apologized 100 times. The cafe downstairs was nice and the food was delicious not to mention the staff were super kind! I had such an amazing time and Ill definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

Great little placering with event better staff.

The room (so called suite) we stayed in was disgusting! The blinds have not been dusted for months, the windows are broken (cant open them) the front door to our room was broken, fire hazard! We had to enter our room by entering through another guests room (good thing we were friends) Air conditioner was only blowing out warm air, no one ever came to fix it as we were told they would. The pull out sofa was broken, had to sleep on the floor instead! The dust in the air conditioning vents was beyond disgusting! Staff could have cared less when we voiced our concerns/complaints! Consider yourself warned!

Ive stayed at the Tropirock several times. The staff and facilities are terrific and a good value as well. However the last time I stayed from 7/13 /16 thru 7/19/16 I was charged a $100 deposit. Which is fine. But that deposit has not been returned to my account. EVERY time I call the staff, I get a different story.

They are a FRUAD. Check your CC account after you leave. Without authorization they charged $535.00 on my card in addition to my 1 night stay $143.00.Upon asking why, the front desk female attended Charliminda was rude and place my call in hold for 48 minutes. They had no valid reason to explain why they charged $535.00.They room by the pool 1st floor was muggy and smelled.I have reported them to local authorities and better business bureau Ft Lauderdale FL.

Location could not be better. The room was clean. It was just a block away from the beach, so we get to see the sunrise.

No curtain on window, lamps attached to head board, no ice machine. Cant find staff when needed.

Customer service was completely nonexistent. I called and left three different messages during business hours to find out what the protocolor was to access my room key after hours. Never got a return call. Once I arrived at 10:30, I followed the instructions to use the intercom. No one responded. After waiting outside for ten minutes, wondering if I was going to have a bed to sleep on, finally someone arrived and showed me to my room. The next business day, I called and left four more messages about rearranging my dates of stay. To this day I have not received any callbacks to any of my eight messages. I will NEVER stay at this resort again. Its unfortunate because I come down to Ft. Lauderdale on a weekly basis and would have otherwise been a frequent customer.

Very nice hotel, staff very friendly

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was all super nice and catering. The restaurant on the premises was delicious. Not going to lie I am used to coming up from Miami to get away and staying at the W, Westin, Conrad, and Marriot Beachplace, but this was a great experience. The penthouse for the money offers such space and we were able to accommodate a nice dinner for some fam of 12 on their huge table.

Employees at this resort are the worst! Most of them do not speak english and they are rude! They drive around the between the properties with no regard for the safety of others and speed limits. This morning 3 of their staff members were arguing outside the hotel for 10 minutes yelling and screaming. When we called the hotel desk to tell them they hung up on us and nothing was done. Numerous complaints have gone un-answered by the management.

Came early to the advertised Easter egg hunt. There were no eggs, and the hunt had already happened. Very poor planning.

I was treated with disrespect by bi bi and other management Amanda and several races remark. was address during our disagreement because I refused to stay in a lower level room than what I originally booked.

All. There properties are great. Except for. 527 north birch road. Its part motel and 6 month rentals,. Its disgusting on the outside . no poolno where to have a seat outside and parking sitution sucks.
